The rates are reasonable ($32 peak) and the have a great BOGO on weekend afternoons. I was working in the snack bar with Melissa who was very misleading with who she actually is as a person. To the customers, she's very nice and smiley towards, however from day one of my employment she said things to me like "if I had some prozac I'd give it to you" and telling me how I was never going to make it in the real world because I wasn't constantly smiling. She also called me incompetent multiple times. One duty of the job was to make the food for the customers, and on multiple occasions called the sandwiches I made "atrocious" and kept saying things like "my god I wouldn't pay $8.50 for that, would you?" This manager has no skills when it comes to employees. There was one girl there who she consistently favored and adored. She constantly bad mouthed all the other employees that had previously worked there saying how she wasn't going to hire them back, and called them incompetent for leaving bread crumbs under the hot dog roller or for leaving beer under the cabinet. She has no right to be speaking about employees like that. I worked 3 shifts at this golf course, and instead of having the dignity to say something as simple as "yeah it's not working out, we have to let you go" they just ended all form of communication with me. I gave my boss (Melissa) my schedule for the week, and she didn't ever get back with me. So instead of being professional, and at least providing some communication, they decided to be completely immature and just not contact me again. 0/10 one of the worst places I've ever worked.

Many long holes, a bunch of tight shots through the woods, a few makeable drives, and a couple nice wide open bombers. This course is quite difficult, but it's beautiful and enjoyable. Much of the first half of the course is wooded and hilly, which presents its own challenges, while the back half is much more wide open and sunny, but provides challenges of its own with some epically long holes. This place holds the distinction of being the only local course where I haven't yet lost a disc (knock on wood for me please), and because it's a little outside of town it's a bit less busy than some of the other popular spots locally (Oshtemo and Cold Brook in particular). It doesn't have water hazards like some of the local courses, despite being next to a lake (none of the holes abuts the lake at Robert Morris Park).

This is a traditional, family friendly rink just like you remember from when you were a kid. Family owned - it's their 44th year in business. Look on their website for hours and rates - do not rely on any app/google searches. Use their site. If you have kids under 12 sign them up for kidsskatefree.com Rollerworld participates and each child gets one free skate pass a week for various sessions - again you check the rollerworld website to see which session it is. This is an awesome program. They host an adult skate 18+ with 70-90s music. I love that skate! They remodeled over the pandemic - new bathrooms and snack bar - and they re did the floor - smooth like butter! Car pool if you can - the lot is smaller! You can bring your own blades or skates. If you clean your stroller wheels you can stroll skate with your little one. You can rent blades or skates. Wear thicker socks if you rent. Lockers are $0.50. Bring 2 quarters to be prepared. I love this rink and I hope you check it out. It's a great sport for the whole family. Plus it's fun.
