It's strange, stumbling upon a six-year-old review and your polite, official response. I had forgotten the particulars of that visit, and it was like reading about a different person's frustration. I will, however, always appreciate the polite way you acknowledged the problem back then. My son and I just visited again. The kitchen had a sign up about renovations, and the employees were a different breed this time; not rude, just nonchalant. When I asked about a pool table, one just laughed and said no. We had a great time on the lanes, though, even if my son did manage to tweak his wrist on the final frame. As for the water, we didn't ask for any. I suppose, in a way, I don't want to know if it was ever fixed. The mystery of the odd color and the weird taste is a better story, and in a world where everything is supposed to be perfect, a good, weird story is a rare and beautiful thing. read more

The pro shop has no idea how to drill a bowling ball, or make a thumb hole bigger. Why are they even there? In 60 years of bowling I've never come across a pro shop that didn't know how to drill a bowling ball. Until i attempted to get a new ball in Jackson. But the ball is basically worthless because Jackson doesn't have a competent pro shop that knows what they're doing. Get your ball drilled prior to going to Jackson. Because if they mess it up, they'll have no idea how to fix it, even if it just requires making the hole slightly bigger. read more

First time here. We comfortable our great grandsons birthday party. Everything was well organized for about 20 kids. They had 4 lanes for an hour. Pizza & pop were included in the price per kid. Pizza was nothing to brag about, but the kids didn't care. After bowling, all the kids went to the arcade & used their gift cards, which is also included in the package. I was here March 3rd & 4th for the MHSAA State Finals. I went to the bar area to get one of my bowlers a cup of ice water for his medication. The bartender told me it would be $1.00 for the foam cup, she said she was sorry but had to do it "she knew it was wrong". I didn't have cash on me so I had to use a card for a $1.00 cup of water. I said to the gentleman behind the bar who was clearly a manager or owner "are you seriously charging students & coaches $1.00 for water at a high school event?" His reply was that the foam cups cost them 0.78 per cup. My reply was no they don't, they're not 0.78 a cup, that's bullshit! He was shocked for being called out. He again said yes they are with a attitude before walking away from me. I just looked up the 20oz cups, a 500 count box on Amazon is $50.00 @ .10 per cup. That's a big difference from the 0.78 per cup bullshit he was trying to tell me. I don't have any respect for this place after being lied to, right to my face, very disrespectful. The fact that he lied tells me he knows they're price gouging. Very shameful for taking advantage of students, coaches and parents at a high school event. read more

Pretty sure only one person works here. Waited a half hour to get a lane and then waited another 30-40 minutes for someone to open the arcade redemption for my kid to turn in his tickets he spendt 40 bucks on. Place is nice inside but service is terrible. read more

Not very impressed. I gave this place 3 chances and every visit left us disappointed in something. The staff allows smoking right near the entrance. You cannot get in without walking through the smokers. Happened everytime. Not cool! Once inside you are blasted with the smell of burnt pizza. Definitely need to clean their oven. The awful stench has happened upon each visit. The lanes are basic bowling lanes. The bumpers can be programmed to only go up for certain bowlers so that's a plus but otherwise nothing too great. Several of the bowling balls had chunks taken out of them which of course led to poor scoring and lack of ball control. The arcade has a variety of games mostly in working order which is good however their prize redemption area is rarely, if ever, open. We have been told to save our points and use them with the next visit but they are not open to do so. This of course left kiddos very disappointed and upset. We intend on trying to redeem our points again but will not be bowling or playing games. No more money will be spent here unless they miraculously improve upon customer service and begin cracking down on the smokers at the door. Very disappointing. read more

Staff is less attentive than they used to be. Called twice to tell them are pins needed to be reset as the gate was down and nothing happened for 9 minutes. Finally walked to the desk and they reset it right away. The staff was just standing there talking when we walked up. Paid for an hour of bowling and lost time. read more

Ordered pizza and cheese bread and was quoted 25 minutes.. ended up taking 75 minutes and each time we checked back and asked if it was ready, we were told "about 15 minutes left" and many other run around excuses... we were done bowling when we finally got our food, and it was cold. Large bowling alley with around 60 lanes. The staff can be a little friendlier and more attentive. The lanes and the monitors were in decent shape but the assortment of bowing balls were extremely limited for someone with larger hands. I had to wind up using a pink ball since that was the only one that I could find that fit my fingers! The bar staff was friendly and the selection of beers was decent enough. The food was sub-par but I don't know why I expected anything edible from a bowling alley. The main problem with our visit was that we had to call the staff over 5 times in 2 game since the balls get getting stuck In the back and not being returned. This slowed down our momentum big time. Not impressed. They charge $12 for a pitcher of beer which is $4 more than anywhere else. Then the pizza was supposed to be meat lovers but had less meat than a hot n ready. The lanes are ok, not a lot of oil, but that can be adjusted. If you are close to a small town go to their lanes, it will be a better experience. read more

Come for a fundraiser and had to have the whole system reset 3 times. When it's brought to desk's attention, their response was lackluster at best. Couldn't provide any explanation or direction on what to do. Wasted 30 min waiting for them to figure out what to do. read more

Went here on a Saturday early afternoon for a child's birthday party.. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and well organized. We enjoyed some bowling, of course..however, I was disappointed that they wouldn't put up the bumpers for me, lol!! The lanes were super clean. I did not get rental shoes but the shoes I saw people wearing looked to be in pretty decent shape. Plenty of house bowling balls available.. There is an in house Little Caesars, so plenty of hot and ready pizza!! I typically don't care for Little Caesars, but this pizza was really good - nice and cheesey, soft doughy crust.. Ya know how some bowling alleys stink to high heaven from the years of smoking inside?? Not here.. Great place for a family afternoon or night out with friends - there is a full service bar afterall.... :) read more

I went here for my sons birthday party. We brought a cake and a couple 2 liters. When I walked in the door we went to sit our stuff down and the man at the register came up to me and said what do you think you are doing here? I was like well we came to bowl and have a little birthday party with a couple people. He was like well you can't have cake in here and the drinks have to go outside because of our liquor license rules. I had just been to a birthday party there where a friend had brought cake/drinks etc. I told him fine, we bought the family special and I bought pizza at Little Caesars. The staff at Little Caesars was very nice. I did not like the way the guy approached me when we walked in, very rude. Doubt we will ever go back there. I'm sure there are other bowling alleys around town to go to that will appreciate our business. read more

Great place for corporate function! Shannon was the coordinator we worked with. Calls were returned quickly and she was very professional. Very easy to work with and they were able to accommodate quickly. The private room was more than adequate for 20 people and the food was pretty good. We had a hostess for the afternoon who stayed right there with us in case we needed anything...from more soda to getting our bowling shoes. Well worth the money! Price per person was very reasonable.
