As a woman, I've definitely felt taken advantage of by other mechanics in the past, so finding someone I can truly trust means a lot to me. I recently had a strange issue with my car where the check engine light kept staying on. Cathy's team did multiple checks, over multiple days, and eventually solved the problem for me, at an incredibly reasonable price. They patched the tire quickly, were polite, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. What really stood out was that I had previously gone to Mavis in Queens Village for the SAME issue and was told I needed TWO new tires. My car is only 8 months old! Cross Island Tires took care of the actual problem with a simple patch and had me back on the road. Fast, honest, efficient, and no nonsense. Exactly what you want from a tire shop. They literally gave me back two tone gradient wheels and didn't bat an eyelash -- the audacity + on the redo I gave them ample time to make sure they provided me with a high quality job only to receive a job worst than the first job. + $150.00 to repair rashed/bent wheel + powdercoat seemed pricey.... For the quality of work, I'd pay $50/wheel -- I'm being generous with that number. These wheels make me want to vomit + take a look at the images I posted so you can get a good idea of the amount of blemishes on these newly refinished (x2) wheels. $653.02 after tax for this job.
