Until recently I've had no serious complaints about M&H. The uniform pieces were not anything fancy, but they were durable, reasonably comfortable, and looked right. This has changed. The pants I used to get have disappeared from the selection, and the equivalent replacement is inferior. The fabric blend is much more polyester and not much wool. They don't wear as well, and are not as comfortable - they feel like plastic, and are cold in winter. The long sleeve shirt still has decent fabric, but the manufacturing quality has gone down. I used to be able to make a set of shirts last a while, but now the interfacing in the cuffs and collars starts permanently wrinkling after a while, even while the rest of the shirt is in good shape. I have to guess they've cut corners by going to fusable interfacing, and the quality is poor. So now I am replacing the shirts much more often than before just for that reason. It's too bad, but I think I will have to use up my current M&H allotment and then try out our other provider, especially for the pants. read more

I ordered my uniform in July 2018. It is Feb 26, 2019 and still have not received the hat. I have called in to inquire about the uniform hat 3 times. Each time I am given the same answer. "Well, you should have received it by now but call back in 3 weeks if you haven't received it." I do not recommend using this company. Service and quality of the product is atrocious. read more

Let me get this straight. I order pants correctly, in plenty of time for my next trip, with the correct color, receive them (again, in plenty of time for alterations), open package after a current trip, and the pants are the wrong color. Now, in order to return, I must PURCHASE the shipping label for their error (which I understand since it is mail order). BUT it gets better, customer no-service states they can "try" to RUSH my order but cannot make any guarantee on arrival date....so an alternate source would be nice to find. Sad state of affairs. *UPDATE..... Sent the same review to M&H and have received word that they will be sending me new pants with the correct color code and evidently over night or at least two day shipping. We shall see. If this truly happens I will increase the rating from one star, but they need to empower the CSR on the phone to fix problems immediately, especially those that they themselves created. If I made the error in ordering, then it is my problem, please do not make M&H problems my problems. Everyone understands mistakes happen but the recovery is what customers remember. **UPDATE.... All is right with the world now. A senior customer service representative called after I posted this review and emailed customer service. They stated a new CSR had taken my call and did not understand the issue I WAS having. The senior CSR sprung into action and veraciously attacked the problem. She continued to email me status updates and received the pants today. So, long story short...recovery was good. Thanks. Increased star rating to "4" solely on the basis of the recovery. read more

Worst quality fabric and construction. Terrible fit and design. Their tailor "fitted" and "altered" my uniform and it still looks like a horrible garb fit for some slapstick comedian from the black and white era of cinema...say, Groucho Marx. I've owned this for less than two years and it is already falling apart. I did contact the company and they did they would replace the uniform for one of equal quality. Perfect. read more

I was really surprised at the amount of negativity posted about M&H. I had nothing but a positive experience with this company. The customer service representative went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. When I have called and left a msg ... I received a prompt call back within a day. For me that wasn't a problem. I know they are busy... but the fact that they made sure to make contact with me, says volumes about their customer service. I have spoken to different people and everyone i have encountered has had the same positive outlook. I totally appreciated their insight on sizing and practicality for what I needed. read more

I recently got fitted for uniforms with my new airline. Laurel helped me and was very nice and informative. I had lots of questions regarding different fits and styles, and she was very helpful and kind even while I changed my mind a few times about which style I wanted. Overall a wonderful experience. I really like the cut of the women's pilot pants and I appreciate that they have the stretchy version now. Amy was also very helpful, and all the staff at the fittings were super sweet. Very friendly attentive service. Through work I got 2 pairs of pants. The waist was too big. I took them in to exchange or be tailored and to get two more pairs. Tried a different size and it was too small. Which bear am I? We decided it was best to tailor the bigger pairs. He grabbed two new ones and recommended I try them, just to see how they fit. They were perfect, without tailoring. They took my two old pairs and exchanged them for two new pairs and hemmed all four in 15' while I got a sandwich across the street. I only write reviews for exceptional service or absolutely terrible service. The company is extremely unorganized and makes returns a nightmare. I gave 2 stars because their customer service is somewhat helpful (thanks Melissa and Marty). It took me 3 months to get a refund back from them after I returned my uniforms after they sent me more than what I ordered and CHARGED me more than what I ordered. I paid by credit card, and they said they had no record of it, so then I had to dig through my records and send them a charge receipt from my credit card company. They continued to issue my returns to my company's payroll department, even after I told them I didn't pay that way. They sent me the wrong size hat and the troubles continued when I later had to return the rest of my uniform after getting hired elsewhere. Out of the 3 refunds I requested and sent things back for, I had to call each time at least twice to get it refunded to me. I'm not saying they wouldn't have submitted the refund if I hadn't called, but it's not clear that that wasn't the case either. read more

Went here for almost 10years. Tailored maybe over 80+ business suits and a slew of dress shirts, pants, etc. First 8 years service and staff was superb. But the last year and a half, place has gone downhill. Most recent occurrence is when I arrived at 4:03PM. Bare in mind place closes at 5PM. However, they all get ready to leave and close up by 4pm, so if you get there at 4 or a minute after FORGET it and the service. Poor attitude, with workers anxious to leave an hour early. Don't come here. Better treatment & friendly service at J's Cleaners & Tailoring down the street. read more

My company has used this company for years. It has never gotten better. Service it still slow. Some persons at my company have waited months for orders to show up. Sizing is inconsistent. All out items are made in China. Our white shirts have showed up pink in the the clear package. They still shipped them anyway. I don't bother with returns it's not worth my time or hassle. Do not buy uniform pants from M & H. They are overpriced, uncomfortable, hot, and itchy. You can get Haggar Cool Pro 18s for half the price and a million times more comfort and quality. M & H refuses to take a return on my low quality pants even for store credit. Waste of $60. read more

For that I received 2 crappy pilot shirts, two pairs of extremely undersized yet baggy pants, a jacket with sleeves over an inch too long, a generic black tie, and no hat (back ordered). Our company selected M&H for our uniform provider a couple years ago. I can't say enough nice things about the customer service they provide. All the calls I have made have been promptly answered and helpful. I had visited their fitting room several times as well to try different sizes and fabric options. On every occasion, they have taken the time to listen to my concerns and make sure I leave with a well fitting uniform (they have hemmed pants while I waited).
