I have been buying Lucky jeans for 20 years love there clothes. My wife went to the Hillsdale lucky brand store we bought $200 worth of clothes with credit card. They would not give the clothes to us the manger said charges our pending told to come back and we did after dinner said it still pending. Will I check my credit card the next day and it clear I call them still would not give us the clothes. I went to the store month latter we live out of town went to cashiers show that it clear our account he agree but they closed it on there in he said he will speak to someone nobody ever contact us. I call that 800 number and gave all the info and they gave me a case number nobody ever contact us. Do not do business with company that takes your money but will not give you the product. read more

Lucky Brand is starting to become one of my new stores. I always head to the back of the store where the sales racks are located. Check out what's on sale and find a fitting room if I'm into something. The people who work there are really nice and chill. The store reminds me of Free People clothing, but more affordable. It has that hippy, bo-ho feel to it. I haven't found a pair of jeans that work for me yet. Maybe someday? So far I've been into their tops and dresses and jackets. read more

I saw some other reviews about poor customer service so I wanted to clear that up and add my experience that was enhanced by great customer service. I came here with my boyfriend to find him a pair of jeans. He didn't really know what he wanted, just his size. We were helped immediately by one of the employees, Daryl, who picked out a few different styles for him to try and he was really great! He was knowledgeable and friendly, while still giving my boyfriend space to try them on at his own pace. We were able to find the perfect pair (I think it was the Athletic Slim Fit 412) thanks to his help. Not sure if they read these reviews, but thank you, Daryl, you were great! The other employee working at the time also seemed very capable, attentive, and friendly to the other customers, but I did not catch her name. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and there were other customers but it wasn't extremely crowded or anything. If you've never shopped here before, Lucky Brand jeans are fairly expensive at around $100 for a pair of jeans. I think they are good quality though :) read more

I love lucky brand. However, when I visited the Hillsdale store, all of the store associates were ignoring me and without an eye contact either. I zero customer service. I felt like I was invisible from their cold treatment. All of the three associates were talking very loud and giggling among themselves. I felt like they didn't want me to be there. I've been to many different Lucky Brand stores from different sates. This is the worst place I've been to. Lucky Brand needs to re-train their staffs or hire the please who can provide customer service!!! read more

Bought two jeans yesteday. The customer service is on point! The jeans are higher-priced than normal jeans, but worth it. If anything, wear a pear of $35 jeans when you come into the store. After you try on one of their's, you will almost hate yourself for putting on the jeans you came in with. Luckily, you can leave wearing them! I got the 181's and this one pair with a cool wash, with italian-made denim. Like the other posters said, they really enhance a booty. They make delectable booties look absolutely scrumptious. No saggy-butt, doo-doo loaded seat-of-the-pants. Also, you can tell the difference in the feel just by bending your knees and raising your heels to your butt. The jeans just move with you, instead of grabbing your skin or putting pressure. Again, excellent wash. The way the material hangs as well is excellent, being soft but not overloaded with material, as well as not flimsy. The one thing I'd suggest they add is a three-way mirror. Unlike Ms Phat Booty, I can't see my ass from the front. read more

I'm 5'1 and its so hard to find jeans that fit me properly! Today, me and my friend steph tried some jeans on (we're always hopeful to get "lucky" and find a great pear of jeans) at the new lucky store at Hillsdale mall. OMG, i am so amazed on how perfect they fit on both of us!! I bought a pair of dark denims and Steph bought regular ones. A pair of jeans costs about $ 98-128ish but they have 15% off!! yaaay! These jeans made my day! PLUS they have the cutest zipper because when you open it up it says "lucky you"! LOVE IT! for sure im going to be back for more jeans!!!! read more

I already love the clothes here (surprisingly reasonable prices if you closely follow their random sales) and I usually just buy online, but one of my favorite things about Lucky is that you can get a 10% discount by picking up your order yourself at a store (if it's in stock). Normally, shopping in a store forces you to deal with the massive attitude from disgruntled sales associates on their final nerve from dealing with equally disgruntled customers. As mentioned in previous reviews, the customer service here is excellent and they are very accommodating. When I came to pick up my order, Caroline (sp?) got my order and then suggested that I try it on first to make sure it fit. Seeing I had my infant daughter in a stroller, she offered to put me in a bigger dressing room in the back of the store, or take the chair in the dressing room out so I would have space to park the stroller while I tried things on. As it turned out, Caroline was right and the order was too big -- she gladly went back to the stockroom to find me a smaller size. Everything was in great condition and the store was neat and organized. Thank you, Lucky and Caroline for helping me out, being patient and having a great positive attitude -- a dying breed in retail. read more

I had originally stopped in with a friend back in April and had a great experience with Carolyn. I went back in yesterday and she remembered both my friend and me. She even remembered what she had sold both of us and showed us suggestions that were similar to what we had purchased previously. Have not been to the mall for a while so decided to stop by with my boyfriend to check out the new construction and holiday decorations. Lucky Brand is my favorite brand to buy so we stopped by to check it out. We were not greeted upon entering the store nor asked for assistance even though there were two associates and the store was empty, no worries though as I'm happy to be left alone to shop. I found a jacket I liked and midway between deciding to buy it, my bf and I hear a loud groaning and we turn around. We thought it was a grumpy customer and with smiles said "hi?" . It then pointed to behind us and that's when we realized it worked there and was trying to clean the shelf behind us. Shocked but still smiling, we said "oh ok" and we moved out of the way. No "thank you" or any further communication came from it. We took a few seconds to digest wtf just happened and immediately left while laughing to ourselves. Seriously, their sale prices on clearance merchandise are still more than I'd pay for any of that stuff. The customer service at this store (in the Hillsdale Mall) has to be commended. My wife hates shopping in general and hates shopping for jeans in particular. She heard good things about this store so I took her last night. From the moment she walked into the store the sales people helped her not only find the right items for her, but helped her feel so much better about the experience. She walked out of there with a huge smile on her face which was worth the cash we spent. So many places these days don't know how to do customer service but these folks have it down. Had my first visit to Lucky Jeans today, mainly because I'm trying to avoid the Old Navy mom's pant runt I've just about fallen into (I've avoided it narrowly, but I am over the saggy pants thing!). Ryan was attentive and awesome at listening to my feedback, but beyond that, he was SUPER HELPFUL and showed me that I could rock pants I'd never thought I'd even want to try on. As with other readers, I dislike shopping at malls. Too much going on to fight through a 100 stores. The customer service here was impeccable. Not only were they helpful they were genuine. Offered sizes and even brought me tops they thought I should also try! You won't get this service at some of the other stores I went to before entering here. Customer service in general has gone downhill at a lot of places. I know they don't get paid a half way decent wage. And they have to deal with a*holes regularly. But this place you don't feel any of that! It's all good warm energy. It's pricy but the service is well worth it. Not to mention the quality of the material you purchase. I was impressed with their customer service. I swear I must have the most difficult body to fit jeans to. I tried on so many different styles, but I just wasn't happy with the comfort level of many of them. The young lady (Meghan?) stuck with me until I found a pair that I was happy with. The saleswoman, who seemed to also be the manager, helped my teenage son find the right items that he liked and fit him well. Aside from their products, the staff is super friendly, patient, and helpful. I've been a fan of Lucky Brand Jeans ever since my niece started working in the Corte Madera store. I've been spoiled having her be my personal shopper as she is genius when it comes to fitting jeans. This time, I needed jeans, but couldn't get all the way up to see my jeans guru so I popped into the San Mateo store. I got excellent customer service. I was greeted and asked if I needed help by Meghan right away. And when I asked for help, she found what I was looking for, but then asked me questions about anything else I might like...which was really helpful. She kept checking back with me when I was in the fitting room, honing in on the right fit, wash and length. When I stepped out to show her a fit, her colleagues Ryan and Alana also offered their input; I felt like I was getting thorough input. She picked out the perfect pair of jeans in a style I was looking for, and got the size right on the first try! I love them! I was so happy to know that there is a Lucky Brand Jeans shop in the mall. I have always ordered from Macy's. Lucky Brand Jeans is one of but a few jeans made nowadays that offers styles for every body shape. Best is that they produce their jeans from almost 100% cotton (it is something like 96% I believe) instead of that crap that Levi's, Calvin Klein, and even Tommy Hilfiger have decided to force upon the public. As earlier reviewers already stated, the customer service is an A+ at this store. The clerks were very helpful in finding what I was interested in. Unfortunately I was not able to purchase anything. But it was a very nice browsing experience. Typically when one enters a shop like this one the clerks are very standoffish and judgmental. So it makes browsing a turn off, but that is their loss. read more

I am amazed that other reviews raved about this place. I love Lucky Brand Jeans and while I like what were on the display and shelves; I detested the customer service. There were two staff and three customers (including myself) and I managed to be ignored even as I stood in front of the cash register waiting to be ring up. Oh yah, I know Ms. Latina purposely ignored me because she acknowledged the person who was looking at the display behind me. Okay, the other staff was ringing a customer up, fine, and she immediately ringed me up after that. But I m sorry Ms. Latina, she was taking her sweet time clearing up the dressing room (which was cleaned) and tidying up clothes that were already on hangers. She could have done both of those tasks after ringing me up while I stood and waited there for three minutes. No I am not high maintenance and I can wait, but there really isn't a reason to.
