Good morning: I parked outside their business, on Lorton last week. My credit card didn't work the parking meter. I went into the Luggage shop & one of their associates came outside to help me. When she realized my card wouldn't work she suggested quarters. ( Its been a long time since we added $ to a meter!) O.k so I did. I calculated my time with a friend in a restaurant. She offered to continue filling the meter should I run late- as I did. I entered the shop again & offered to reimburse her She refused. Never again will I purchase a piece of luggage from anywhere else but here. This past week I had some time to kill and popped into the Luggage Center. My wife had been complaining that her old carry on was beat to crap and was hinting that it would be nice to get a new piece for Christmas. I walked in and noticed they had one of the brands I was considering. One of their stellar sales people (Tanya) took the time to show me the line and explained in easy to understand English the benefits and drawbacks of each. Her knowledge of luggage blew me away. She offered her opinions and suggestions but not a hint of high pressure selling or selling up to a more expensive brand. Tanya then gave me her card and told me that if I had any more questions that she would be there to help. I was sold right then and knew right then that I would be back and buy the luggage from her. I decided since my wife and I are traveling tonight to Belize that maybe I should stop in earlier and pick up her Christmas present early. So yesterday I dropped by. Tanya unfortunately was not there, but Jeff was. He was just as knowledgable and professional as Tanya and I am very impressed of the level of consistency and awesome customer service. Jeff took the time to once again explain every last detail and also offered some of his opinions. I walked away with a Victorinox 5.0 Mobilizer carry on. I brought home and when my wife opened the box she immediately fell in love with it. She loves all the features and it's light weight. I scored some major husband points! The folks at the store were kind, knowledgeable and not pushy. They led me to a few great choices. I had a great experience and have had my bag for a year and it still looks brand new! This place is excellent! It's a pricey shop l, but they have such a wide variety of stuff that you can't find anywhere else. I came in last night (Friday evening) because a luggage I bought didn't have the built in lock bolted in. The attendant was so nice, trying to help us find some screws to use it with. He brought out a box of bolts and then he went downstairs where he found a broken luggage with a broken lock and gave us the bolts for free! So appreciative of this guy's kindness since I just bought the luggage a few weeks ago and will be using it for the first time in a few weeks. He was very attentive and friendly and didn't want anything for the bolts. Really appreciate this guy's kindness. Looking around the shop, they have such a wide variety of stuff. I'll definitely come here if I ever need something specific for my next travels! Whenever I'm strolling along Burlingame Ave. I always find myself here. Probably because I love to get away someplace, and always looking for some new, cool luggage to pack up and go. Good variety of luggage collections, packs, duffels, brief cases, and travel accessories. Prices are pretty standard, but they do have some pieces that are on sale or clearance. What I do like is that the sales staff is very knowledgeable of the products they sell. They will randomly close 'for lunch' at any given time of day, with only the message that they 'will be back soon'. A customer should be able to rely on their being open during business hours, so they don't end up wasting time or making an unnecessary trip. I was in a time crunch and had a flight to catch and raced here to get something I need for it- at 3:30pm. At a bare minimum, they should provide an estimated time for when they will return, and/or a phone number, instead of a vague 'soon', so we know if it is worth trying to wait out. And they should really reconsider what 'soon' means to them vs what it does to a waiting customer. I held out for half an hour, which was risky for me, before no choice but to give up. There were at least 5 others wanting to get in, but who gave up after 10mins. Really poor form, and completely thoughtless to their potential customers. read more

Yes, this place is a little pricey, but they usually have a few different brands on sale at a time. It is also nice to have a store that is not a large chain on Burlingame avenue. There is a wide inventory and the store is quite spacious. There really is a wide range to choose from in terms of price and some products that I have been recommended were less expensive but very durable. The staff here are very knowledgable on luggage. I have always found the people that work here very helpful. I have bought backpacks and travel luggage here throughout the years, and I have so far only had good customer service. read more

Had an unpleasant experience here yesterday and I will not be going back. I went to actually buy carryon bag but thought I would also ask about the last bag I bought there which broke almost immediately. The guy said because I used it, that there is no guarantee and that it was the cheapest bag in the store. Let me start this review by saying that this is my opinion and I realize I may have expectations that are not realistic. When I go into a specialty store, like this, I expect the associates to be knowledgeable, helpful and offer their opinions. I got none of that. What I experienced were 2 people who seemed to want to stand behind the counter and just wait for me to choose what I wanted and then they would ring me up. I asked questions and got a lot of blank stares from the guy. The girl was playing on her phone the entire time and never looked up.
