They came another day and tried their best to fix the problem. For their trouble, they charged a large sum to not fix anything. They charged for parts they purchased but could not fix the issue. That is not a good business practice to pass that cost to the customer when you were unable to provide the service. Significant money was spent and nothing was fixed. They offered to come back another day where they would attempt to fix the problem again and charge more money if they were successful. They took a week to follow up on that offer. Thank goodness I found someone else who charged less than their assessment fee to fix the issue. That included replacing necessary parts. The other professional was able to immediately diagnose what they did wrong and provided all the options for moving forward. I can't speak for their other services but would not recommend for Central Air repair.

Unfortunately, our refrigerator was out of warranty, even though it was less than three years old. I shared this with Joe, and he immediately stepped in to help. After GE completed a site visit and provided a list of required parts, Joe placed the order right away and let me know the parts would arrive on 12/18. True to his word, on 12/18 Tyler came out and spent a good portion of the day repairing our refrigerator. He was outstanding--he took the time to walk us through everything he did, and provided us with some tips on what to do / not to do with the appliance. We couldn't be happier with how this turned out and are extremely thankful to the Poirier team for stepping up and supporting us when we really needed it. Words can't express how relieved and happy we are to have a fully working refrigerator again. Kudos and sincere thanks to the Poirier team for a job exceptionally well done! Happy holidays to all!

I spoke with the director of service, who was very kind, but unable to offer any assistance. He even acknowledged that a three-year-old unit should not be experiencing this level of failure. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the experience we've had with Poirier. I understand they are a small business, but I believe they should do more to stand behind the products they sell. My honest review- (First the good) True Blue installed a new FHA furnace in my home in 2016. All…read moregood, very professional. I was repeatedly told it had a 10 year warranty. Fast forward 9 years, it stops working. I emailed True Blue and Steve (owner) now tells me that there was only a 5 year warranty ( I even sent them the warranty card that I registered) He did send his guy right out. Joey was very nice. He cleaned the igniter and it fired right up (but only 1 time). It took him about 20 minutes total. Joey recommended they we replace igniter and flame sensor because they were "only sold in pairs" (this was not true as you will see in the photos). (Now for the bad) I had previously researched the parts, which were $41.00 for both. I asked Joey how much it would cost to replace both the igniter & flame sensor. He said that he called his office and they said $829.00. Really? For a 45-minute job? I asked Joey to break down the parts and labor and he said "I can't do that". I then asked "that must be about 5 hours of labor, right? (they charge $145/hour) He was very hesitant to answer but replied "maybe 3 or 4 hours labor". I paid True Blue $145 (1-hour min charge) and he left. So much for taking care of a loyal customer. I ended up calling another company. They came out and did a complete tune up. They charged me $165 total for everything, including the new parts. They also confirmed that my parts were in fact under warranty (but not the labor) . I am one of those people who is very loyal to a company that takes good care of me. In this instance, I 100% believe that True Blue was trying to take advantage of me.
