He was clearly experienced and answered our questions. He provided a quote for the repairs and said the quote would be valid for 30 days. Unfortunately, our refrigerator was out of warranty, even though it was less than three years old. I shared this with Joe, and he immediately stepped in to help. After GE completed a site visit and provided a list of required parts, Joe placed the order right away and let me know the parts would arrive on 12/18. True to his word, on 12/18 Tyler came out and spent a good portion of the day repairing our refrigerator. He was outstanding--he took the time to walk us through everything he did, and provided us with some tips on what to do / not to do with the appliance. We couldn't be happier with how this turned out and are extremely thankful to the Poirier team for stepping up and supporting us when we really needed it. I have only used the project functionality once before but ended up using someone else. My normal repair go-to did not pick up the phone so I thought why not? They literally responded in under a minute. What's that saying the early bird catches the worm? Normally, I check out the business and see how many reviews they have do a little research but I was in a hurry so I asked how much and when they could come for a refrigerator repair. They said they could come the same day, And the price was right comparatively. (Diagnostic fee is 95$ which will go towards the repair cost.) There was some back-and-forth about when they could come and we decided on the next day. Adam showed up on time, was very polite and fixed our issue! Our Refrigerator had a lot of condensation and it turns out the fan was not working. He could've just said we needed a new fan and charged us for it, but he went beyond that and went through the back panel and noticed there was something unplugged and then the fan started working in our refrigerator is working great! I have so much respect for honesty and integrity. I highly recommend using their service I believe from the other reviews that they are a new service and they deserve all the new business! Initially, I contacted Poirier Appliances which is where I had purchased the washer/dryer pair only 2 yrs and 2 months ago (so 2 months out of warranty). They wanted $225 just to walk in the door and diagnose the machine, + $70/hr labor + parts. I won't be going back to purchase anything there! So, next I called Ace Appliance Repair after I learned from the F-P mother ship that they were authorized to do F-P repairs. I made an appointment for 2 days out, but they called back next day with an opening. Joe came out to diagnose for $70. Dryer needed a new electronic board, which cost around $175, and had to be ordered. He came back a few days later and installed the board for an additional $50 labor fee. Dryer has been fine in the week since installation. F-P parts are expensive, but the labor cost and service rendered were very good and Joe was no drama and got the job done quickly. I recommend Ace Appliance Repair.

I had to find the discount on their website separately because they do not offer to me automatically. I am not happy with the communication and the thermostat replaced. It is a rental property. Unlike other companies I used, I never received a call 30-60 mins before the technician arrived. So I was not sure if he showed up or not. Whenever I called the company, I was talking to the teams handling customer service, not the technician directly. So there is always a middle man between the tech and me to translate information. The diagnosis was on Wednesday. I approved the quote right away after I received it. The repair was the next Thursday 8 days later. The appointment was initially scheduled for the morning between 9-12. I then got a call to say he could not make it on time and would be there around 1pm. I got a tenant message to say he still did not show up at 2:30PM without any call to inform he would be further late. What I am most disappointed is the new thermostat installed during this repair! He replaced my old programmable thermostat with a new FocusPro N100 Non-Programmable Thermostat 1H/1C. When every household is switching to a smart thermostat, he installed an ancient manual controlled thermostat! I would appreciate he could give me some option to select different types of thermostat. I would have no problem to pay for something better or even buy a smart thermostat myself. I called the company to complain about it. All I got was it is fully functional and it is more modern than my old programmable thermostat! I could not be more disappointed about this. Despite they fixed my AC, I do not feel comfortable to use this company again and to recommend it to anyone else if this is not addressed.

The price point is too high. The initial diagnosis price $99 was supposed to be deducted from the actual price and that did not happen and was not reflected in the invoice as well. One the technician open the dryer you are left with no choice but to go with the repair. My issue was very minor with a squeaking dryer idler wheel and that was replaced and oiled, and I was charged almost $420. A dryer idler pulley which was $7 was priced at $120. Labor $250 to replace it and another $50 for cleaning the dryer. And the technician instead of doing his work was more intent on talking and distracting the situation. Only plus point was the prompt dispatch of the technician. Apart from that I would advise customers to check and ensure that your price is right and not get charged for simple replacements. I went by the great reviews and wanted to try Adams but the price point and lack of transparency and the technician left me with a bad customer experience and would make me think twice to call them.

No reason as to why they can't service especially after speaking with a tech last week saying they were able to come if scheduled. The last time they serviced my freezer- it wasn't working properly after service so i called them back because i had over 6k in ice cream melting, so i needed a tech ASAP. that must have had me blacklisted. At least tell the customer why you blacklist them. They came and fixed the freezer after their mistake the first time and that's why i tried to use them again. They're on the expensive side anyway.

He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.
