The parts department, they know what they are doing for the lost part. The service is where the opportunity is lacking. I had a tonneau cover placed on my truck bed. It was installed incorrectly. Now, I have to make another appointment to get it installed proper. The issue is that the service advisors line never gets answered and the voice mail box is FULL! How do you expect to make any money when you can't leave messages or pick up the phone? I do a lot of " I don't knows" when I asked questions. The only way this place can improve is to take the feedback from the low scoring reviews and fix each problem. If you have one department that operates better than the other then you may want to check on favoritism. The parts department have seasoned personnel the service department, has many people who are their to help but not really certain how to help. I sense that if they take initiative or ask questions on how things work, they get the "I don't know" replies. Which makes sense now because they are replying on furthering their training but there is definitely some separation from who does what at this location. It is family owned and operated since 1974 so that speaks volumes.

I had to use the emergency brake to stop on the side of the road. The mechanic it was towed to said the brake line was completely rusted out and needed to be replaced. The manager at JT Chevrolet told me I bought the car 'as is' and they had no obligation to repair it. They called me back a little while later saying if I could get it towed there, they'd fix it as a gesture of goodwill. Fine, the brakes are still very soft, but I'm at least able to stop. Last month while changing the battery, I found that instead of a metal super connector, there was a literal piece of lamp cord that had been stripped on both ends. Additionally, I had to replace two tires due to slow leaks, the washer fluid reservoir is completely cracked, the belt was cracked and worn, and I had to replace the headlights. There is a oil pressure error on it now and it leaks slowly. I've probably spent more on it than its worth at this point. I would never recommend buying a used vehicle here. They clearly just washed it and threw it on the lot without opening the hood or checking under it, at all. These are things that even a Jiffy Lube would notice but apparently their service department cannot. If I could go back to October, I'd buy somewhere else. I just don't feel safe in the vehicle, but also don't feel comfortable selling it to someone else, because unlike John Thornton Chevrolet, I have principles.

Fred advised vehicle would have to be driven to lessen fuel to complete repair (as opposed to siphoning existing fuel and replacing it). Then suggested he would have mechanics drive fuel down. As of following Wednesday, nothing had been done at all and they failed to even call. I had to call and then he insisted that I pick it up to drive down the fuel level before he could perform the recall that could repair fuel problem. Took the vehicle back on Monday. As of Thursday (today) still "haven't gotten to it." I sent an email previous Saturday asking for rental car and Fred admitted he received it and did not read it. I have been without my car for over a week collectively and the service is unacceptable. Fred is a salesman. He is great with pleasantries, smiles and suggestions for one to spend more money. Fred is not a serviceman. He does not follow through, act proactively, return calls as promised, under-promise, over-deliver, go the extra mile, exceed expectations, or show his true loyalty to the customer. What is paramount is not making the sale, no, the true top is customer retention. Nissan of Lithia Springs Service should focus on keeping the trust of customers for the life of their car and free water is not it. I would feel great if a dealership inspired by truth and safety would tell me "Sir, your car's in great shape" and call me with updates before I have to call them begging for an update.

I took my 2022 Nissan Altima in to get the rear passenger side seatbelt replaced. I had an appt at 9:15 and arrive on time. My car was taken back quickly however a 2 hour time frame turned into 5 1/2 and we left with no car and more repairs needed. Aftere waiting for 3 1/2 hours I inquired as to what the hold up was and was told 30 more minutes and then after an hour had passed, 30 more minutes. When they said it was finally finished we got in the car and pulled out only to notice that an airbag light was now on. We circled the parking lot and came back around to service where they said that they woud plug the car up to the computer and see what was wrong. Apparantly when the service man but in the seatbelt he damaged the airbag. They said they would need to order a new one and replace it again. They were going to let us leave with the car and I asked if it was safe and they said "umm well not really. No one should sit there." I have two children who ride in the backseat so I insisted on a rental car. I got this set up and they ordered the part and said it should be done the next day which was a Thursday. I could not get it on Thursday so they said over the weekend is fine. I spoke with Karissa on Friday and she said it was ready and that everything had been tested and working properly. I drove the 40 minutes to pick it up and when I got there the seatbelt was not retracting properly so, after I had been assured it was fixed, I had to leave the vehicle again. I was not happy and repeatedly, 4 times, left messages for Mr Curtis (who was filling in for Mr Warren the service manager while he was on vacation), Mr Warren, Karissa, and the general manager with ZERO return calls. On Monday II called in to check when I could pick up the car and was informed that they thought Karissa was off. I left a message with the receptionist for Mr Warren and left him a voicemail as well. He never returned my call. Finally on Tuesday Karissa called and said that the car was ready. We went to pick it up and everything worked properly. No reply from Mr Warren or Mr Curtis on our experience. It was horrible. I would never go there again nor recommend it to anyone

Unfortunately, the vehicle developed a fault and has now been in the dealership's service department for over two weeks with no clear timeline for when it will be repaired. What has been most frustrating is the lack of a suitable loaner vehicle. I was given a five-seat car, despite the dealership knowing full well that the vehicle they're repairing is a six-plus passenger family vehicle. As a result, my family has effectively been stranded over the July 4 weekend and during two weeks of our children's summer break. We have had to cancel family outings because we simply cannot all fit in the replacement vehicle. I've repeatedly asked for a larger loaner--I'm not asking for anything luxurious, just something that accommodates my family--but those requests have gone nowhere. Cars develop faults, and I understand that. What defines a dealership is how they look after customers when things go wrong. Unfortunately, this experience has fallen well below the standard I expected when leasing a new family vehicle. I'm hoping someone in dealership management or ownership sees this review and reaches out. This situation is still fixable. Providing an appropriate loaner and communicating a realistic repair timeline would go a long way toward restoring my confidence in Calavan Kia.

From the very beginning, Taniya treated me like I was her most important customer. She was incredibly accommodating, even finding a way to get me in earlier than my original appointment, and throughout the process she kept me informed and made me feel like she genuinely cared about getting everything right. The service team performed a thorough inspection and didn't just address the issues I mentioned. They proactively identified additional items that could have been contributing to the problem and repaired them under CarMax's warranty. I had read some concerning reviews before bringing my car in, so I wanted to share my experience because it was exactly the opposite. Great customer service isn't just about fixing cars. It's about making customers feel heard and knowing someone is advocating for them. That's exactly what Taniya did. She made me feel like she had my best interests at heart from start to finish. If every service advisor treated customers the way she does, the automotive industry would have a much better reputation. Thank you, Taniya, for an exceptional experience.

Waymon is the person I initially met and worked most closely with during the process of trying to purchase my vehicle. When it comes to him, 15/5!!**** As far as everything goes On the day that I picked up my vehicle, I CALLED AHEAD to let them know I was on the way. Once I arrived, I spent over an hour filling out the necessary paperwork, just to be given the keys to a DIRTY VEHICLE!! When I say "dirty" I mean literal DIRT and ick inside my newly purchased vehicle! It was as if they had the car had been dropped off from the previous owner the same fucking day, and hadn't been touched again until they were handing me the keys I couldn't even enjoy the moment of having a new car. When I brought this up to the employees that handed me the keys, they shrugged shoulders and informed me that the person in charge of cleaning/detailing the vehicle wasn't there, and that the lesser employee who half-ass "cleaned" my car wasn't already gone for the day. UNACCEPTABLE! All of this is happening around 5-5:30ish pm, dealership doesn't close until 8pm. Sooooo, after a certain point in the day are yall just giving people dirty cars???? That shit makes no sense. I visited multiple dealerships before finding my car at this one. Looking back I truly wish I would've been able to find my car at one of those other locations. Overall exhausted and thoroughly disappointed with my experience (didn't even including management trying agressively persuading financing through them, KNOWING I was already approved, the price being listed completely different online, etc). Unless you have found your must-have, everything-you-want car at Hoover, go somewhere else. If you have to come here, go in defense up, head on the swivel and please have your own loan pre-approval, cause they will try you like a baser ‍
