Jerald is literally the BEST! From the moment I came in, he was so sweet, patient, and accommodating. I brought my car to Ford with the check engine light on, not knowing what the actual issue was. Jerald took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand and recommended other services that would help keep my car running and hopefully extend its life. One thing I really appreciated was that I never felt like he was taking advantage of me as a woman. He was honest, transparent, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I understood what was going on with my car. I also didn't have transportation to get to work or school while my car was being serviced. Jerald went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get to work and back ON TIME, as well as make it to school. That meant a lot because he didn't have to go out of his way like that, but he did. I am SO grateful that I got Jerald as my service advisor, especially after reading some of the other reviews about past experiences with Lithia Springs Ford. I just left the Lithia Springs Ford dealership and I unfortunately had to work with Heather in service department which was not a great experience to say the least. I called early this morning because I just bought a big bend sports Bronco yr 2021 towards the end of April. I been up here three times regarding different issues and I had no issues with the head manager Jimmy who was out of town this week, however dealing with Heather was much different. I told her what was going on with my vehicle and I pay for the gold certification so if anything is found wrong within 90 days they are supposed to provide loaner cars and rides no charge. So I tried using this service this morning because im going out of town and she's like there no guarantees my car will be lookat today and I couldn't get a loaner car until my car was inspected so I bring the car up there and she calls me 12:40pm saying my cars fine so I keep texting the number they send to text and I got no call backs and response nothing. Which cause the dealership to close and i had to get Uber which they paid for to get my car. I had to leave work for three hours because she nevered called bk to tell me my car was ready. If I did not call and talk to someone else I would not have my car and im going out of town tomorrow which is a huge inconvenience. When I got to the shop she claimed she got no messages and honestly good customer service means following up on vehicles that are cleared to go and i had to find info on my own vehicle which is so unprofessional. Do better next time is my suggestion and if you dont have access to your voice messages get it. Also if you dont know that they put your name on the automated reply and you dont respond they need to fix it you make sure you follow up on it since that was your excuse. STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I've had to bring my Explorer Sport to Lithia Springs Ford three times for the same push-button start issue. The car starts whenever it feels like it and has left my wife and me stranded in parking lots twice. On my first visit (August 2025), I was assigned Bennie in service. After over a week, they told me it was the BCM (Body Control Module) and charged me around $1,500. Shortly after, the exact same problem came back. On the second visit, they kept my car for another week, then told me they "couldn't replicate the problem." I picked it up hoping it was just a fluke. Less than a month later, I'm stranded again in another parking lot. Now I'm on my third visit, and my car has been in their shop for three weeks with no solution. I've worked on cars for years, so I understand that some issues are hard to diagnose. But three weeks with almost zero communication is unacceptable. Every time my car is there, Bennie basically leaves me in the dark unless I chase him down. I leave voicemails, I talk to the clerk, and I still get no updates unless I keep calling. This last time, after three weeks with no real progress, I started calling the manager, Tim. His line went straight to voicemail too. No call back as of this morning. So not only am I out a lot of money and still dealing with the same issue, but the customer service is awful. In my experience, they charge high prices and then disappear when the job is actually difficult. PLEASE STAY AWAY. The service department will overcharge you for shoddy work and poor communication. This call resulted from a very truthful and detailed survey Ford asked me to complete after receiving the worst service ever from a dealership. I shared with Ford Corporation survey group my experience with an oil change on June 3rd, 2026. After 6 FAILED ATTEMPTS at reaching someone in the service dept due to their faulty phone system, I went in person and spoke to Heather. Unfortunately Tim had not trained Heather on how to obtain an accurate quote for an oil change which led to my showing up for the service and being told a different price. I had to speak to TIM after going back and forth with Heather and another rep about the price that I was quoted. Obviously neither of them were empowered by their employer to not argue with a customer (since they gave out a false quote on an oil change that they should have known better than to quote) and give me the quoted price. HYBRIDS DO NOT TAKE THE SAME TYPE OF OIL AS 100% ICE. Heather has been with Ford much too long to not know that. I was also given WRONG information by Heather about how long it would take and when the service dept opened. Tim confirmed that they open at 6am - NOT 7:30 which is the time Heather told me to get there. Because she gave me faulty info about everything else, I didn't trust her so I arrived at 6:55am instead. Richard was thorough and professional, but what stood out most was how genuinely thoughtful and caring he was throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle in a way I could actually understand, making sure I felt comfortable and confident before any work was done. You could tell he wasn't just rushing through the motions he treated my car as if it were his own and made me feel like a priority the whole time. On top of his technical expertise, Richard made what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and reassuring one. I would rather trade in my Bronco than return to this location. I regret moving to Lithia Springs because of this Ford dealership. Recently, Rick scheduled an appointment after I mentioned a recurring issue with my car. He assured me that I would get a loaner vehicle because it would take three days to diagnose and complete two recalls. While I was stuck at the airport for 10 hours, I called to inform them of my delayed flight and my inability to drop off the car on time. They rescheduled my appointment for a later time. However, when I arrived, there was no loaner available. Imagine being stuck at the airport during a cyber issue, rushing to make your appointment, and then facing this setback. No one communicated this to me when I called. I was sent away without a solution. This location has a major customer service problem. You can stand there for five minutes before anyone acknowledges you. I could write a book about my experiences, but I'm still recovering from the airport ordeal. I know I'll probably get an automated response to this review, and I don't care anymore. I'm convinced they don't care either. I bought my car here. That was a great experience. Getting it serviced is the problem area. I scheduled an appointment to bring my car in for intermittent headlight problems. They had my car for approximately 3 days and when I called to check on it, I was told they did not know what they were supposed to be looking at. Stephen stepped in to help. I again told them the problem only to find that they were not able to find/duplicate the issue. As soon as I got the car back the issue presented itself again. I even sent Steph pictures. He told me that the issue was the headlight and the whole casing needed to be replaced. But it was not covered under warranty. He said he was going to try to get a good will done through the dealership. Then he stopped returning my calls, he did not answer my calls. He just went completely ghost. I ended up taking my car to ALM who advised that it was something inside of the headlamp that was defective and it WAS covered under my warranty. They replaced the headlamp and I have not had the issue since. The kicker....shortly after the headlamp was fixed, I get a notification on July 31st from Steph at Lithia Springs that THEY had completed the headlamp....NOT!!! I had not heard from him in any way since he stopped returning my calls back in I believe it was April!! read more

This was by far the worst experience ever with the Ford dealership in Lithia Springs. I brought my vehicle in expecting timely service, but after more than three days, absolutely no service was performed even the oil change that was requested. Even charged $200 for a diagnosis fee but never listed the issue of explained the problems. Not only was my time wasted, but there was also a complete lack of communication and accountability from the staff. Called the service manager and left a voicemail with no return call. Heather was the service representative who mention it was the crack case filter but could not give me any other details or even get the technician to explain. She continue to lie about them being in the middle of checking for the problem for three days. She did not even know was purchased with an extended warranty. It got to the point the vehicle was picked up and taken to ALM Ford in Marietta GA. This dealership does not value its customers and deliver on the promises it makes, yet this location failed to provide even the most basic level of professionalism. Leaving a customer without updates or progress for days is unacceptable. Extremely disappointed with their services. The car salesmen was very friendly and kind however we brought up to him that the car reeked of smoke. Prior to that we were driving from approx 2 hours a way and an hour in we are told the bumper is pulled off and is not avail. Few minutes later we call to conf if we can test drive and they said yes. We drive and keep in mind we knew we wanted the truck and we already had expected to drive off the lot with it. It was such a waste of time and inconvenience to drive there and find out the car was dirty and reeked. We told them we would like the scratches fixed, wiper motor replaced (did not work), deliver to us and deep cleaning to remove the smell. We signed in agreement with and ADDITIONAL $300 CHARGE !. Stated car would be ready in 3 days, a week later car is ready. We agree to pick it up because it has already been to long and again, we need it urgently . It is picked up and the smoke smell is still very present , can tell immediately they did a basic car cleaning and nothing else. Stole our $300, which since the beginning i knew was a red flag we ignored. My service drop-off took much much longer than I have previously experienced which was somewhat unpleasant. Also explaining an issue seemed difficult which would have been easily received and understood (based on my experience with previous service advisors). Again, an extremely slow experience. I arrived to drop my truck off at approximately 7:15 am and I never received a single phone call ALL day with a status update or a notice of completion. Because I had no plans to go anywhere during the day however, it wasn't until I needed to run out to the grocery store that I realized I had forgotten my truck was being serviced. I didn't bother calling the service center as it was beyond the hours of operation. Shockingly I received a phone call at 7:55 pm from the service advisor stating that my truck was done and I could pick it up the next day. I paid with my credit card by phone. I truly had so many questions but felt they weren't worth asking because it would change nothing that happened that day or the next. Instead of getting a ride to pick up my truck the next day I asked for a drop-off and thought it was a done deal. The next morning I called to ask when should I expect my vehicle only to find out that nothing has been coordinated. To my surprise the person I spoke with asked me for payment before scheduling a drop-off because my payment wasn't in their system as "Paid". After clearing that up my truck was finally delivered a couple of hours later. The driver handed me my invoice and keys. I took a seat to scroll through the pages when I was stunned by a sticky note with my full credit card information (16 digits, expiration date, CVV Code, zip code). I have always written glowing reviews for this service center because I had a reason to and wanted to share with potential customers. This experience has completely changed my outlook. read more

I brought my truck in for an oil change on 2/25/19. Prior to dropping it off, I had it washed and polished so it was looking great! My truck is my baby. To replace it would cost around $85K. Yes, $85,000! When its not treated right by someone working on it, I take that personally. Joshua C. was the tech who did the work. He needs to start respecting other people's expensive vehicles and treat vehicles with the respect that they deserve. Leaving many black grease prints all over my shiny white truck just shows he doesn't give a crap about his work or customers vehicles or even himself. The service writer (benny) who came out to wash off the grease said it happens all the time. Well, if it happens that often, there is an obvious problem that needs to be addressed! If they can't trust the techs to give a crap about the vehicle they are working on then a manager needs to take 20 seconds and walk around each and every vehicle BEFORE giving it back to a customer. Nobody wants to pay $140 for an oil change and end up getting a vehicle back with greasy clothes and palm prints all over it. Do your techs even use fender mat protectors while working on vehicles? I know they didn't on my truck because the grease was on my truck fenders where a mat should have been protecting it. I really want to bring my vehicles here because you're 2 miles from my house but you guys just can never get it right. read more

The absolute worst dealership. Please, please, please go elsewhere to purchase a vehicle. We bought a 2021 brand new Ford F-150 here and have had nothing but problems. The service department can't tell us why we keep having so many issues and won't even help with a rental reimbursement or a loaner vehicle when we've been without a car for 5 days. Car rentals aren't cheap, but we have to get to work and take the kids to school somehow. I would just like a little more care and concern from a business that we spent quite a bit of money at. I made an agreement with them and gave them my credit card to process a deposit. They agreed on a price and had me fill out an application which was approved. I'm 5 hours away and planned to come down there Monday to pickup. All of a sudden nobody will return my calls. I called over and over til someone answered and told me they sold the car hours after I gave them a deposit. The sales manager didn't have the courtesy to be professional and call me. Obviously he knew what he did was unprofessional. I would stay far away from these people! They also advertised a price then added $1k onto the advertised price. I found my dream car online and when I inquired about it Donna reached out to me promptly to discuss it. I was a little nervous about negotiating the price of the car over the phone so I wanted to get my own financing. I am extremely disappointed in my experience at Lithia Springs Ford. Every vehicle that I have owned has been a Ford vehicle, so I have dealt with many Ford dealerships. None of those experiences has been just wonderful, but my experience with Lithia Springs was by far the worst. I placed an order for a new Bronco roughly 1.5 years ago. I was very excited, as I have always wanted one. I looked at several different dealerships to place my order with, but I never felt comfortable with the knowledge of the Broncos from those dealers. That's when I found Lithia Springs and they seemed to be able to give us some decent assistance with placing the order, so I decided to place my order through them. I won't blast the salesman on here (I'll just call him W.B.), because he was a nice enough guy in the beginning, but just extremely non helpful and in the end turned out to be very pushy and uncaring. Little did I know, the "assistance" that I received in placing the order would be the extent of decent assistance I would receive from these folks. I knew it would be a while before my Bronco would be ready, so I didn't keep my hopes too high. I would call from time to time to see if there was any news, but there was never any news. I did get a call within the first few months of 2022 to tell me that I had been pushed to a 2022 Bronco, which was understandable. I also received another call in December to tell me that I had been pushed to a 2023 Bronco. I was also told that it would most likely be a while still before my vehicle reaches production. Broncos are still extremely backordered, so there is a possibility it could even be pushed to the next year. Ok... I guess it is worth the wait for a vehicle that you have been wanting for years. Fast forward not even a month to the beginning of January 2023, W.B. calls to tell me that my Bronco just arrived on the lot. Excuse me... What?! You just told me a month ago that my Bronco was being pushed to the new manufacturing year and could even be another year given how slow things are moving. Now you call me on the day of delivery with absolutely no warning whatsoever that my Bronco was being scheduled for delivery, let alone even telling me that it was moving forward with production. Like I stated earlier, I've bought lots of Ford vehicles and even ordered a few of them. I have always received ample notice and been given detailed scheduling of where my vehicles were in production, when they would be finished, and when they would be delivered. This all usually happens at least a month in a advance. None of this occurred with this Bronco. When we questioned W.B. about this, he said he emailed us about it. Come to find out, he did email us, but was sending these emails to an incorrectly typed address, which is odd because I've shared about a dozen emails over the last 1.5 years with this man, so he 100% should have my correct email address. He apparently just typed the address wrong. This was of no concern to anyone at Lithia Springs and was just shrugged off as a simple mistake (Oh Well) However, what they consider to be no big deal is in fact a big deal for me. I now have to scramble immediately to try to sell my current vehicle, which I would have been happy to trade, but was offered well below blue book value for. My only other option is to try to sell it myself, which takes some time. In the mean time, not even 36 hours after going to the dealership to see my Bronco that was delivered THAT DAY, W.B is texting us asking when we plan to come pick up the Bronco. It's like dude... I just found out that the Bronco existed. It's barely been a day, you're screwing me on my trade in, I have to sell this thing myself and it's going to take longer than 36 hours. The reply we received back was that they can't wait forever on us. (ONCE AGAIN, ITS ONLY BEEN A DAY AND A HALF, CALM DOWN). It was right about that moment that we decided that this vehicle wasn't worth that kind of stress. They were only concerned with their time and their money. Essentially, screw the customer! Customer service is beyond pathetic!!! I bought a 2019 F250 4 x 4 diesel on March 28 2019.. I was told it came with the engine block heater but it didn't.. i had them install the block heater for an additional $800.00 the next day. After the dealer installed it, they called me and said to bring back the truck so they could disable the block heater. Per bennie Collins (Ford service adviser) the cable assembly is under recall. They cut the cord so it can't be used. They said the new cables won't be available until 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2019. I moved to Wyoming shortly after buying the truck. Checked with a Ford dealer in Wyoming in July and they told me after looking into my VIN number and sales records from lithia springs Ford that my engine block heater and cable assembly WAS NOT & IS NOT part of the recall. It only applied to engine block heaters installed directly at the factory from Ford. Dealer installations were not affected. Now, it gets to -25F below zero in Wyoming so this needs to get resolved. Here's where customer service is non existant. I called bennie Collins (the service advisor employee) that called me about the recall) and left him a very detailed voice mail explaining what has taken place. He never called me back. After a week, I sent him an email. He e mails me back a day later and says, sorry for the delay (this was August 21, 2019) let me get with my manager and I'll get back to you. Well, he hasn't gotten back to me.. on September 6 I leave a detailed comment on lithia springs fords website about what's going on. On September 9 I get a text from Donna Robinson saying she left a message with bennie Collins to call me asap. Yep, he never has (today is September 18). I text her back (September 11) asking her to have his boss call me so we can get this resolved, this hasn't happened either, go figure. I suggested that this dealership mail me the new cable assembly and send me a check for the labor cost and I'd have the dealer in Wyoming install it. That would be the cheapest way for them to resolve this issue. As of today, nobody from this dealership has contacted me. I have no plans of driving 2000 miles back to Atlanta until the spring of 2020. Now i have to pay the local Ford dealer here in Wyoming $130.00 for the cable assembly and $110.00 for the labor to install. This is the worst case of warranty work that isn't covered under warranty because lithia springs Ford screwed up big time.. read more

DO NOT BUY OR HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!! This is the Hotel California of car dealerships. My car was brought back here after they did not bolt down my battery cover and it shorted out my car. Fast forward to almost six months later, they STILL don't know what's wrong and the service manager won't return my calls. It's been all lies and overcharges with this stupid company. The technicians were a bunch of twenty year olds with their mouth agape when my car stalled in the middle of their parking lot from mistakes they have made. Go anywhere else!! Please!! read more

I didn't buy my car here but I wish I had. Jim Tidwell dealership is a horrible lying mess. I had a recall and took it to Lithia Springs Ford. Their service was impressive. Bennie was assigned to guide me through the process of getting my car serviced and he was great. The dealership was very clean and the employees looked happy to be there. Along with fixing the recall issue they fixed a seat issue which I had on the truck that is only 3 weeks old. The issue should have never left Jim Tidwell without being fixed but that is that dealership. Bennie at Lithia Springs Ford was fast and Informative and the waiting room is very comfortable. I have no complaints with Lithia Springs ford they were great to me and my truck. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The woman in charge of the service department doesn't return phone calls and she just so happens to be the only person at the store who deals with repairs. Called multiple times in a single day - the same day I was told the part would be in and to be prepared to bring my car in - and never received any calls back. After spending $50,000+ at this dealership, you'd think they'd treat a customer better. Would not do business here again. read more

I have had nothing but horrible experiences here with the service department. I did have a positive experience purchasing my car, but now regret getting a warranty because it requires to me to go to a Ford service center. My first issue arose with an oil leak. The part was covered by the warranty but I did not find this out until I came to check on an update about my car. They were horrible about keeping in touch with me and I'm curious if they would have even told me if I did have to pay for the part. After they said the issue was fixed, I continued to have oil leaking. I brought it back in and they admitted the issue was due to the tech not putting something back on correctly. My second issue came up after a car accident. It took them 7 days to fix my vehicle. During this time I kept believing my vehicle would be fixed the next day and had a complete lack of communication from the service center. On the final day, they tried to tell me they just discovered I would need two more pieces (even though they had already ordered the parts needed 3 days prior). I complained to the manager and magically the parts were found. After all of this, I was told my vehicle was fixed. After picking it up I discovered it was STILL leaking. I brought it back in and they informed me they forgot to clean out the drip pan. Finally, the vehicle was still leaking. My insurance company went in to assess with them what was wrong. I brought it in at 8am Monday, and said my insurance assessor would be there 24 hours later at 8am Tuesday. They said it would be ready. My insurance assessor got there at 8am and it was not ready. Luckily she had another job in the area and came back after 9. She contacted me at 9:30am to let me know it was condensation dripping and all parts were working properly. I arrived at 11am to pick up my car. They said it was still not ready and would be another hour. They tried to blame it on my insurance assessor stating she just left and should have told me it still wasn't put together. Yet I have a record of her contacting me on my phone at 9:30. I have had nothing but frustration with the incompetence and lack of efficiency from Ford. I have had to find rides to work, a rental car, and multiple rides to the service center. I was only given 10% off of my original price for repairs from damage from the wreck but was never compensated for anything else. They charged over $300 just for their inspection that told me it was condensation. The same inspection that took them over 24 hours to complete. Do not come here! They make mistakes, put parts on incorrectly for basic oil repairs, do not communicate updates on your vehicle, and overall are just looking to make profit off of you without giving any decent customer service in the process. I will NEVER come back. If I have any more issues I think will be covered by warranty I will drive to a different Ford location. read more

My husband and I were dreading buying a car so that he could commute to his new job but we knew we had to get one. We are new to town and decided to stop at John Bleakley Ford. It really was a pleasant car buying experience. We were there with our 1 and 3 year old and they were running and crawling around the show room and playing with everything in the showroom. We were trying to keep them contained but nobody seemed to mind that they were being loud. Stephanie Bleakley even came over and talked with the kids and said she didn't mind they were playing. We had a very tight budget for his car and they were able to work with us to get us into a car that is going to meet our monthly budget. Chad was our salesman and he was great. So sad I had to leave my car hear!! It's only been a week but I can already tell it's going to be a grueling process. The communication is just horrible. I dropped off Monday and received a call later in the day to tell me what they found. The advisor(Benny) had no idea how long it would take because they had to order parts. Since then I haven't been able to get in contact with him or heard any updates about my car. I have reached out several times, most employees who answer the phone don't help and tell me to leave a message for him. I still have no idea how long I will be with out a car which is cost money for me. On top of that I'm having to pay for my own rental because Ford will only let me get a Ford and enterprise can't supply one. ESP is pointless if using it is this stressful. The key to customer service is consideration and communication two things they clearly lack. It takes two minutes to update and inform a customer but it goes a long way. Really disappointed and hopeful this will be over soon. I'm fully aware that they will probably take twice as long to complete my service after this review lol but I hope others take head and find another location. read more

Best Service Ever! These guys are amazing. Honest, nice and they actually explain what's going on with your car and ALL your options. These guys stood out from the first phone call and throughout the service. I even had the opportunity to meet Mr. Bleakley himself. What a nice guy. No wonder the rest of his team are honest, hard working auto mechanics. GREAT PLACE!!! P.S.
