This company is unprofessional and dishonest. took our money and did not perform the job that they were hired to do. when my husband asked mark to clean and tune up the furnace that he was hired to do, he pulled off. We ultimately, went with Jeff from Bluflame. They were professional and got the job done for us. Bluflame is highly recommended. The manager Sam replied that Mark suggested that we needed a new furnace, that was determined to be a lie. Mark, wanted to cover his behind because he was rude, unprofessional and dishonest. The manager never reached out to here our side. This is the proposal Mark gave us. We was hired to clean and tune up the furnace which he did not and wanted to charge us twice. Mark never said the furnace was unsafe. There is so much more I could say about our interaction with Mark bias position and his stereotype of my husband and I. After years of dealing with M&M, I have lost all confidence. The technician who attempted to service my furnace told me multiple times that my smart thermostat was the problem. He boasted he had thirty years in the industry but would only refer me to chat rooms if I pressed for a better explanation. As has since been confirmed by a separate HVAC professional, the smart thermostat was only indicating a problem with the furnace itself. M&M charged me each and every time they attempted to service this furnace between November and January, and charged me to replace the working thermostat. Still, when the furnace failed hours after their latest attempt, I contacted their emergency weekend services, but was never called back. My furnace is functioning now after minimal service from a separate HVAC professional, and I trust the advice they have given me about the longevity of the system. read more

while not the least expensive Trane estimate we got, were fed up with service from the other large Trane dealer in the area and picked M&M to install our new system. Was highly impressed with the quality of the installation, precision fitting new components and complete lack of mess while it was being done. Tech was extremely professional and knowledgeable and had most of the new system up and running the same day. M&M's workmanship was miles better than our original system. Outside of some unexpected faulty parts supplied by Trane, the system is running great and way more efficient than our original one. The only negative with this company is scheduling. When we were told there was a two week wait, it was exactly 2 weeks (still a week less than their competiton) until it was installed. read more

We had a new furnace and air unit installed in July. Eric was the installer. He did a wonderful job. The weather had gotten very hot, our house was extremely hot. He hooked up the air condition , for the night, and completed the installation on the next day. He cleaned up everything, before he left. He was a very pleasant young man. He showed me everything , on the functions of the unit. He also answered my questions. I would recommend M & M and Eric to install a furnace and air conditioning unit, to anyone, that needs a new unit or service. read more

I think they have new owners or managers. Used them in the past and they were great. They replaced some HVAC units in my condo building. They didn't remove the boxes and trash from the roof and it blew off during some windy weather onto our sidewalk. One unit owner had to have them out a few times before his HVAC started to work. Another unit owner had his replaced a few months ago and they had to come back out the first week to fix something. Another unit owner had hers replaced by M&M last year and said she's had them out several times and is looking for a new company to service her unit. read more

M and M Heating and Cooling came to my home on a service call. My furnace would not ignite. When making the appointment they would not tell me how much it would cost to replace the ignitor but that a service call would cost $105. When they arrived they replaced the ignitor without giving me an estimate. When they gave me the bill it was for $323.00. Seemed very high. When I had a chance to examine the invoice they charged me $218.00 for the ignitor. The retail price for this part from a reputable supplier, $16.35 . They billed me $218.00 for a $16.35 part. If you want to pay $218 for a $16 part call M & M heating. As for me I would never let these scammers near my home ever again. $218 for a $16 part. If your the little guy beware. We were 25 year customers and service has diminished greatly. Our furnace broke down. We called for a service call as usual. They replaced a $300.00 fan and service call cost, then we were told another component needed to be replaced to get it running. At this point we were told that water damage was getting in the unit due to some tube allowing it back into the system because it was wrongly installed. Mind you we had them install the system. Long story short we could put in more money to get running or just possibly replace the heating system. At this time we looked at replacing both AC and heating. We were told Steve would contact us next day to set up quote. Needless to say it wasn't until the next week. We received a quote May 18, 2020 on both systems. We decided to go ahead except Steve told my husband could not install until August 18. Well July 27th hit and our AC went down. I tried to get a hold of Steve thru there office via Casey three calls and he called my husband once. My last ditch effort was to Casey an admin. And I let her realize this is becoming unacceptable. They were to have a tech come check out that afternoon sit by phone and he will call when in the area. Needless to say I made a call to another guy that had just replaced a friends AC/Heating unit within 2 weeks of breakdown from initial call. I expressed this to Casey on another call giving her every opportunity to help us out and she didn't seem interested. I let her know to cancel the call and units. Needless to say upon my first call to the other guy a representative came out with two hours and we are getting new install next Monday. Why I say beware little guy is I believe M&M has grown to big to handle us little guys. Lost my 25 years patronage and they didn't seem to care except Steve called not too happy later that afternoon when he found out he lost the contract. John not only fixed the problem, but explained everything to me without being condescending, as some men in the industry treat single women in need of repairs. My AC quit working yesterday afternoon. This morning I started to call someone nearby in Toledo. I called Vintage Air first right at 8. Very polite and took my information and said someone would call me. I waited an hour and nothing (as I write this it has now been 5 hours) and no call back. At 9, I called M&M Heating and Air, they took my information and said I will be scheduled for between 1 and 5 today, or sooner. Ok, no problem. I got a call about an hour later and asked me if I can go now to meet the tech, she will dispatch him. Ok, got home in 15 minutes and Tech (I think his name was Gene) was in my driveway. Got to work right away, testing capacitors and switches. Tried some new ones and boom, started working. So he took it the rest of the way apart, and really cleaned it well, even put it up on some bricks I had laying around to help it drain better. Purring like a kitten now. Complete job done in a few hours. I would definitely recommend them and will be calling them FIRST in the future. read more
