BP was recommended by the tile contractor at our former home. Johnnie & team completed our master bath project on budget and in the timeframe expected, and the work quality was great. When we decided to remodel our current home, which was a much larger project, we knew we wanted to get an estimate from Johnnie at BP. We ultimately went with them and are glad we did. Jillian coordinated purchases for our project, and Jesse was our project manager. Walls, ceilings, electric, plumbing, and doors moved. Tile was replaced, new cabinets and lighting installed. The work was again completed on time and within approved budget. We really are pleased with how our house looks and how functional it is, and we've recommended BP Remodeling to friends. One is in the midst of their project now. We hope we are done with remodeling homes, but we would not hesitate to use BP again based on our experience. read more

Update one year: I have a double problem to solve. My flat roof house with parapets Allow water to get in above two windows. We will solve it this week by installing two new rain scuppers that will be completely sealed. Other home owners here have similar issues. New style in pic. Update first day of two: Jesse has the two new water scupper devices installed. The first seals are setting up. His practiced eye found two areas where the flat roof emulsion was lifted up, a little. A little is all it takes for rain water to seep down. We have to accept it might not be a single solution. But I am confident in his skills and knowledge. From the ground , the work looks sharp. Owner comes across professional but after putting up 50% deposit you will have to chase these people down for months and months. When they finally arrive the workmanship is poor and you will have to get ROC involved. ROC will force them to do the right thing in the end, but it's a stressful 12+ months for a simple straightforward job . read more

I thought I had come to terms with this company to install some appliances and a faucet etc. I get an email from one of the owners of the company 3 days before they are supposed to start the job when they insist on replacing angle stops that I had replaced by a licensed plumber 6 months ago. I complained about it to them but they insisted on replacing them anyways and I agreed. Now, they insist on waiting until I send them a 50% up front deposit. I don't mind a deposit especially when the contractor has to buy materials but in this case there isn't much they have to provide. I suggested that if he needs a deposit to start the job I would give it to him but he would have to pick it up as there isn't enough time to mail it and have it clear before the work was to commence. There pricing is ridiculously high as he wants $40 for caulk, plumbers sealant, and teflon tape. The pricing for tile work was more than double other estimates. I would not use them unless you want to feel that you have been taken. I would not use this company as the quality of work is unknown as they did not do any work for me. I have learned that contractors who require a large deposit down may leave you hanging and never show up. I recently had my backyard landscaped at was over 20k and he asked for nothing down and also did a great job. read more

I was introduced to this company when I had new windows installed throughout my house. They are the installation company for the window dealer I ordered from. When the guys showed up to install the windows I learned that they have licensed plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, all on staff and that they do just about everything you could need done around the house. While they specialize in major remodeling and construction, no job is too small and they handle the smaller jobs equally professionally. Johnnie and Samantha, the owners, could not be more pleasant to deal with. In fact, I was very impressed with their entire team. They were hard working, respectful of my property, and did an amazing job. They will always be my first call for anything I need done around my house and I will never hesitate to recommend them to anyone who could use their services. read more

Jesse came out yesterday and installed a solar tube light in my kitchen. He found when he made a 4" hole in the ceiling that there was a crossbeam supporting the sheet rock where I wanted the light to be. He added structural support to make it work. No extra charge! After the installation we got a bit of rain. Jesse gave me him number just in case there might be a problem, but probably no problem as the sealer on the roof should have cured by then. This is a company licensed with ROC. The only suggestion for improvement is to make the message on the answering machine short and upbeat. No problem reaching John on his cell. read more

I recently bought a house in Tucson and had Beyond Paint do extensive work on the inside: painting walls, cabinets, re-tile all the floors, remodel a bathroom and fireplace, etc. I liked them so much I had them come back and repaint the outside and replace some wooden structures. They are terrific! Their estimates are very clear, and they make sure everything is done perfectly. All the workers were very polite and fun to work with (I lived in the house while they were working). In addition, they always made it clear when, where, and who would show up to work - and there was never a delay or 'no-show'. I'd recommend Johnny Walker and his crew to anyone. read more

Unique Review: I'm a painting contractor in Tucson and worked with Beyond Paint over a dozen times in 2015-2016. In multiple ways they are a niche provider - and have some of the most highly skilled multi talented employees around. I have not seen another contractor in tucson do better bathroom or kitchen work - though a small number of them were probably as good as Beyond Paint. If I hadn't repeatedly witnessed their great work I wouldn't have taken the time to write this review. That said remodeling is incredibly challenging and going with a seasoned knowledgeable workforce goes a long ways in reducing headaches. (all remodeling involves some headaches). read more

I first met this company a year ago and can say that if your primary concerns are having the highest quality materials and workmanship, along with great customer service and the ability to show up on time and stick to their price and schedule, and to honor their warranty, this is the company for you. Their pricing is fair for what they deliver, however, if price is your primary consideration, I wouldn't doubt that you could find someone to do an OK job for less. read more
