Honestly such a great experience. Lovely plants and Christian, the guy working there, was incredibly kind and helpful. He helped me find several plants for inside and outside my place which would do well in different light conditions and told me just how to take care of each of them. When arriving to Kapolei Greenz, there are hand painted signs with a warm welcome with plenty of parking and a plethora of options to choose from. Yupin is the sweetest and the staff is so knowledgeable. I am blown away by the attention, tender love and care that the plants receive in this nursery of how healthy and how affordable they are! This is a great little plant nursery with extremely knowledgeable staff. Most, if not all, of the plants are propagated and grown at their Kunia Rd location. We've landscaped our front courtyard with plants from this nursery, one in particular that we would not have found elsewhere and was recommended to us specifically based on our space to plant it. In addition, their prices are extremely fair and comparable to the swap meet plant prices we used to pay pre-covid. read more

Went here in our search to buy local and support local businesses. At first we thought of going to the big box stores like Walmart and HomeDepot but it was important for us to buy and support local. We met the owner and auntie and team there and they were warm and helpful! They were so knowledgeable and they were half the price of the big box stores. I went with the intention of looking and left with a car full of plants - plumerias, palms, pikake... If you want to do some good in the community, please buy and support local. This place was paradise to explore. They work so hard there. Let's support them. They have cash and card so just go for a trip to look around. You can't go wrong. read more

Awesome little nursery if you're looking for beautiful shrubs, plants, flowers, palms etc (they don't sell veggie plants)! There are some beautiful floral and succulent arrangements here and there, a small variety of fertilizers and pesticides. There was an older uncle managing the plants and he was so sweet. He gave good advice regarding general plant care, places that sold what we were looking for (veggie seeds), and deals in his nursery. We'll be back read more

Kapolei Greenz is located on the first right after the on/off ramp for The freeway on Makakilo drive. This place has a great assortment of "decorative" house plants such as palms, ginger, t leaf, etc. They a minimal amount of produce plants, they had calamansi, lime trees, etc. The pricing is extremely reasonable as well. We were just planning on looking at first but ended of leaving with 7 plants lol. Love this will be getting more plants in the future from this place. read more

I found this great place here on Yelp looking for a garden center that was not part of a big box chain. My wife is an avid gardener and loves to shop local. Since its mother's day tomorrow, I wanted to surprise her. She was delighted. Yupin was friendly and very knowledgeable about the plant selections. There were none of the usual plants one finds in the big boxes. And the prices were very reasonable. We are definitely going back to support this terrific place. read more

We're re-doing our yard and I decided to check out Kapolei Greenz today based on the Yelp reviews I read. The Yelpers were right once again. The woman who helped me was awesome. She answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions for what plants would work in shady areas and which ones would be better in the sun. My husband was thinking about getting a small Phoenix palm and she advised me not to buy it after finding out it would be placed near a walkway due to the sharp thorns on it. You definitely can't get this kind of service at Home Depot or Lowe's. read more

Came here twice to look for plants for my house, both indoor & outdoor. The aunty who owns the nursery is so nice and knowledgeable, she makes sure you are aware with what the plant needs before you purchase them. And she even went on to show us how to plant them and how many years they could stay in a certain size pot until we would have to move up to a bigger pot. The selection isn't that big at this location, but I heard she had another location in Kunia that is much larger. And I've found that the prices here are cheaper than most places on the island for larger outdoor plants. Definitely should give them a visit read more

Palms galore, citrus trees, ground covers, hibiscus of several colors, dwarf plumeria trees, even a puakenikeni tree for sale. They have good plants & it's nicely maintained, too. I have been looking for a Pak Lan tree casually for awhile. The past month I made more of an effort to find one. Called Koolau, visited all the big box garden centers, called a couple nurseries in Waimanalo....ZERO. When I looked on Craigslist, I came across an unrelated post from Kapolei Greenz. I wasn't hopeful when I called but they had some in stock! I went to pick it up the very next day. Extra bonus was they have a coupon printed on the back of Safeway receipts (not sure if it's only for Kapolei Safeway). I happened to be at Safeway that morning killing time before Kapolei Greenz opened. Saved $5! Janell was very helpful. She asked where I lived. She told me it would do well in ground because our area has "good dirt". I told her I didn't want to plant it so she advised the best way to keep it potted. My thumb is black so any advice was greatly appreciated. Of course, now that my search is over, I saw a Pak Lan the other day at Lowe's in Waikele. It was smaller and the trunk was thinner but it was the same price as the one I purchased from KG. This is what prompted me to write this review. A lot of variety and prices are comparable or better than even the big box places. We will definitely be back! read more

The selection that you can choose from is amazing and the lady knows her inventory and she is so very nice. She assisted us with the purchase of 10 red eldorado's 3 green El Dorados 1 gardenia. They take Visa and MasterCard. They have a huge select of plants to choose from. We will definitely be coming back to purchase more plants to enhance our yard. read more
