We live in Cedar City, Utah and on June 22, 2023 contracted with owner Michael Stella of M & M Restoration LLC, located in New Harmony, Utah, to repair our concrete driveway, front walkway, and back patio with a decorative coating. At the time we signed the contract there was no start or finish date on the contract for the work to begin and end. We also gave the owner a money deposit, half down for the work that was to be done. 7/26/23 We texted the owner and then called the owner regarding a possible start time frame and in our opinion we were given the run around, meaning the owner said he had many jobs to do and basically would get to our job as soon as his other jobs were completed. Possibly by September. 10/6/23 Called the owner again. He had no start date or time frame to assure us when the work would be done. His excuses were the weather and his workload. We were told that other customers he contracted with agreed to delay their cement restoration until Spring of 2024! This was unacceptable to us as it was coming up on 4 months since our initial signing of the contract and we wanted the work done asap. We contacted as many people as we could in Cedar City regarding this company, and the verbal reviews were not favorable as far as getting their work started in a timely manner and completed in a timely manner, but apparently once the restoration work was completed the work was good. 10/23/23 We sent a certified letter to M & M Restoration requesting that we want the work done in a timely manner and the fulfillment of his part of the contract. We also stated that it's not our fault that he overbooked jobs. We were not asking for a refund but we wanted the work done before winter, as it had now been 4 months since we gave him a deposit of $4,250.00. 11/14/23 We texted again asking that the work be done. The owner called after that text and guaranteed us a full refund because basically he didn't want to deal with us calling him all winter long. We did receive a full refund via cashier's check (for that we are thankful) and he wrote on the returned contract "NO RE-BID". ALL communication with the owner was documented. The owner stated he would not slander us...(we thought slander us for what? Wanting the work done in a reasonable amount of time)?? He also stated he did not want us to slander him. So, this is not a slanderous review but a stating of the facts that were documented via text and phone calls. In our opinion a company should do the right thing and complete a job in a timely manner or advise the customer up front that there is a 6 to 12 - month backlog in front of you. The contract should have on it a start/finish date and the deposit of 50% should not be required until the company shows up and begins the work that was contractually agreed upon. Beware!!!! I've never dealt with a shadier and ruder contractor in my life. Paid $4100 upfront July of 2022 and then waited. He reached out and told us he could not do the job until this past spring 2023. We agreed but when the following July came I was the one who had to reach out and find out when he was going to start. He said he doesn't really plan he just shows up. Well he showed up to let me know he had to do another job before mine.. Granted it's now over a year since I gave him money. I told him I was tired of his excuses and he offered me a refund.. I agreed. Now he says I asked for the refund and after nearly 2 months of waiting for the refund he kept 25% and said I asked for the refund.. He twists everything around to make it seem as if it's my fault. I understand everything was verbal so if you use him, make sure everything is in writing. I know of another customer who is trying to get his refund to due to poor work ethic( hasn't started his job either). Just my opinion read more

They have provided service and product that is nothing close to the sample I was given . The contract I signed and paid to have done was 4 months late and now over 3 years waiting to have it fixed and all the promises they give never get done. Pool deck that can only be walked on with shoes. It has bubbles all over it and the owner has only promised to fix it by texts . He has never been by to see it. Itcost me to have to drain clean the pool from all the grap that was in it. The pool filter broke and had to buy a nee one. This is the worst business I have ever had delt with. I would run as fast as possible away from this company. I give them no stars and the biggest negative review possible. Ty read more

M & M did our driveway, front walkway and covered front patio, back patio and our 2-car garage. They did a super job and we love it. The garage is a different color than the rest of the job and we are pleased with the work. People who have come over to the house have all commented on how great it looks. We bought our house brand new and the concrete work was substandard to say the least. Less than a year old home with huge divets in the driveway and cracks everywhere. I don't know who did initial work but thank goodness M&M was able to fix the problems. read more

M & M Restorations did concrete coating work on my driveway, sidewalk and patio 7 years ago. The coating is still in great shape and needs restoring to be perfect again. I have asked Mike to do the restoring process to make it look as good as new when he applied it 7 years ago. I have had no problems with his work and enjoyed working with him to get the job done as soon as possible. His concrete work has definitely increased the value of my house over the years. read more

Terrible communication, showed up late and then dragged the rest of the day along with employees slacking off and ruining my grass and to get more $$ STAY AWAY!!!!
