Due to health issues of contractor and weather, garage was postponed until recently (April). Lifted the tarp and four windows warped horribly and unusable. I contacted Steve (dept. mgr, Prinston, IN) and explained the situation and was hoping for a large discount (or at cost) to replace the windows that I screwed up. Steve stated that "We have to make money too" and "We might be able to give you a low, single digit discount". I've spent a lot of money at Menard's in the past few years building a house, a garage, and now another garage that will be used as a shop. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm really disappointed and unfortunately I will be taking my $$$ and business elsewhere. Good bye Menard's, it was nice while it lasted. However the only place it states that you have so many days to return something was on the counter countered with items to be sold! No wonder it looks like a ghost town when you go in.
