Coolest, geekiest, nerdiest thing I've seen in a long time, but now it charges. He had to grab a battery from his personal kit to do it, along with a couple paper clips, but glad he did. FIXED. I was searching for a little spring. I had little confidence this tiny place would have what I needed. I walked into the store and maneuvered down the cramp aisles. An employee (maybe the owner) comes over to help me. I tell him what I need and he pulls out the board displaying the springs and rifles through the drawer to find me what I needed. Then he charges me 50¢. And then when I said get him next time. I told him I didn't live there. He said whenever. Wow! People still do stuff like that? So I walked out to my truck, dug around in my backpack and found 50¢ to bring back inside.

Due to health issues of contractor and weather, garage was postponed until recently (April). Lifted the tarp and four windows warped horribly and unusable. I contacted Steve (dept. mgr, Prinston, IN) and explained the situation and was hoping for a large discount (or at cost) to replace the windows that I screwed up. Steve stated that "We have to make money too" and "We might be able to give you a low, single digit discount". I've spent a lot of money at Menard's in the past few years building a house, a garage, and now another garage that will be used as a shop. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm really disappointed and unfortunately I will be taking my $$$ and business elsewhere. Good bye Menard's, it was nice while it lasted. You've seen the last of my money.
