If a Kia dealership sold tractors. You are paying for their high overhead and fancy showroom. Priced a 3035D. $8,000 higher than Landpro. This is a $25,000 tractor. I will drive an hour to Landpro for anything John Deere or Stihl before I give them my money. read more

After my review on yelp, the Operations Manager Nick gave me a call today and wanted to hear what occurred and how the situation could be remedied and how he could improve the communication within the dealership so this type of situation does not happen again. I believe Nick truly wants to improve the customer experience so I am going to give them another chance and continue to as a patron for their business. If I could rate them less than 1, I would. In 2025 we paid upwards of 16K for a Kubota tractor. Because they were understaffed and we waited weeks to get the tractor delivered, we never were given the opportunity to be shown how the snow plow was to be installed. (we were promised a class). The grass catcher never worked properly, and after two different times the technicians were sent out to no avail, and our tractor was finally taken to the shop, it while worked adequately, it was not great, but worked adequately. We called them in December, and told them we no longer wanted the snow plow and were were told someone would get back to us. We called muliple times and were always told they would return our call, they never did. When we took the the tractor in we paid for a 50 hour tune up, and the battery was nearly dead, luckily it was covered under warranty. (a brand new tractor???). M&R had this machine for weeks!!!!!!!!!!!! We also requested AGAIN to return the plow, but were told this time, it was a year old and they would not take it back. The plow has never been connected to the tractor, and never used) We also paid an very high price to have the oil changed, at the 50 hour tune up, ( I later learned how easily and quickly it could be done). When we got the tractor back, it didn't work properly, we couldn't raise or lower the mower deck, and when we called, we were told we had to pay to have it transported back to the shop, and we would be charged for the service if they found it was not something they had done. I asked to have someone come here, since we are less than 5 miles from the shop, and someone did. Not only did they NOT reconnect the hydraulics at the 50 hour tune up, but also returned our tractor with less than the oil required, because it had an air lock. This machine could have been damaged had someone not looked at it. This is how M&R returned the machine, not reconnected the hydraulics, less than adequate oil and not identifying an air block in the oil. How does this happen. Doesn't anyone stand behind their work, aren't their technicians adequately trained. Why do we have to fight with them at every turn??????? The technician that came out to our home and identified all the mistakes the shop made was incredible , but the folks in the shop, and the management there leave so much to be desired. If you want to purchase a machine, have confidence in the work performed by their service department and management team that supports the customers, DO NOT make that purchaser at M&R equipment. Sales transaction on my Kubota Zero turn was okay. No one really seemed to care either way, no sense of urgency. After that experience I decided to buy a compact tractor (not Kubota) from a different dealer. Kubota claims to have superior engineering. Compare other brands. Kubota's are weak on hydraulics and high on price. read more

Do not buy from these assholes. Go to Ace Hardware for Stihl or a real John Deere dealer. I bought a defective Stihl trimmer. The manager said who told you it was returnable? My credit card issuer did. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought blades for my John Deere. I clearly stated I have an X750 with the 54" high capacity deck. They did not fit. I returned them. The competent parts man at Landpro in Stoneboro sold me blades that fit. read more

Went in for a simple part for my exmark walk behind. Needed a bolt for a spindle I bought last year from them. They did not have one in stock and refused to order one because they had to order 25. Ask for local options to find a bolt and refused to tell me who. I asked if I would bring it in for repair who would they get this "difficult to get bolt". Refused send to tell me. Thanks for the help. I will make sure when I am ready to drop 10,000 on my next mower it will not be them. read more

This will be for the Butler location. What a disappointment this store has been. We purchased a cub cadet zero turn a year ago. Took several months to take delivery even though the unit was sitting there. So this year I had 2 spindle bearings go bad (self diagnosed) . I called the dealer asked if that would be under warranty, they said to drop it off and they would take a look. I explained I didn't want to leave it if it was not going to be a covered service or if parts were not going to be available. They said to bring it up and they will look at it. I asked if they had time to look at if I waited so we know if it would be covered or just take it back home . The service manager said" yes drop it off and go down the road and have a cup a coffee and then we will let you know". So I agreed, I called them 90 minutes later for them to say "didn't get a chance to look at it and they wouldn't for a while but would have a answer for by the end of the day". WELL the next day I got a call they stated the spindle bearing were bad (really) and that I had hit something and they would not be covered under warranty. It would cost $700 to fix it and they did not have the parts. I told them I would be up to pick it up, expressed my displeasure with the entire situation and the. They said it would be a $49 diagnostic fee. I went to pick it up they gave a small piece of twine that was I at the edge of the shaft not in the bearing. They said the twine caused the bearing to seize.... Which it was not seized cause I can still cut grass ..... service manager said that's what it is sorry and thanks for your business . Purchased a brand new 2019 Kubota B3350 tractor from M&R Power Equipment in Butler, PA. Ran the tractor for approximate 1 hour cutting my grass field. Heard a loud clunk and the mower stopped immediately. I looked at the mower deck and saw a piece of metal hanging down. Called M&R and I was told they were sending a truck to pick it up. It sat in their shop for NEARLY 2 months. I received a call from the service manager saying it wasn't under warranty. We inspected the mower prior to them picking it up and noticed that a weld was missing from the factory. We assumed that M&R would see the same and take care of the problem immediately.. instead the made me wait for two months then blamed it on me. A $35,000 brand new tractor..missing a weld from factory and they blamed me. I've owned my own welding and fabrication shop for 40 years..I did my best to be patient and explain it to M&R power equipment..but they don't even understand the equipment the sell. They do not care about their customers. They would rather push blame onto someone else instead of taking care of the warranty. Do not buy from them..find a local dealer that puts you first...M &R power equipment is a terrible company with even worse customer service! When I was recently informed that my riding mower needed a recall repair, it was arranged to have it picked by this company, have the repairs done, and return it to me. I also asked to have an oil change done. When I asked how much thus would cost, they said they weren't sure, and would let me know. When the mower was picked up, I asked the driver if he had any idea what an oil change cost, but he had no idea. He did make a note on the work order to let me know the cost before doing the work. Today my mower was returned with a bill for $65. I consider this exorbitant for an oil change, especially since I pay less for a full synthetic oil change for my car. On top of that, to not tell me the cost prior to doing the job, in direct contradiction of my request, was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Suffice it to say, this is the last business that M&R will ever get from me, and everyone I know will hear my opinion of this business and their practices. read more
