In my particular case, the job entailed high voltage issues, propane tank issues, outbuilding issues, and more, but it seemed the M+S Wesley guys had seen it all before and went about the work with a professionalism and thoroughness that was absolutely impressive. The guys showed up promptly at the assigned time and wasted no time getting set-up and to work. They efficiently removed 2 pine trees and trimmed the canopy on another tree which was hanging above our second story roof. The workers did a fast and professional job cleaning up and leaving no obvious trace that they had even been here working. This was my only experience with a tree service company, but I was happy. They were quick with a fair estimate and fast to come back and do the tree removal. They took care to protect my home from damage from falling limbs, etc. I might suggest they suggested options for stump removal as well, but maybe they don't do that. They took the tree with them and added stump killer. Overall, I was pleased and would use them again. read more

Our trees were removed and no one was injured. That being said, they destroyed several shrubs and flower beds, left HUGE pieces (greater than 6 ft. lengths) in our backyard, and the pieces they did cut to "16 in." really turned out to be more like 20 in. (which are much harder to get in our wood burning stove). They were also supposed to leave us the mulch, which they did not do. I'm glad the tree is gone, but would not call them again. D- read more

Used M and S for the second time and was not disappointed. Mark was on time for the estimate, and the estimate was less than other companies had offered. The crew was so nice and helpful. They cleaned not just what was trimmed and tore out, but any other leaves and debris that were in the area. Quick, efficient, professional, and affordable. After the windy night of December 9th, we awoke to find our birch tree tipped over and hanging precariously over our fish pond. We called M & S Wesley and Andrea assured us they'd have someone out there within the hour and if we liked their bid, they could take care of everything that very day. In less than an hour we had a very reasonable bid and within a few hours the tree was gone, the large wood cut up for firewood and the grounds were clean. My husband, "Mr. Perfectionist" was so impressed with the work done by Tim, Leland and Cesar. I was amazed at how quickly everything was done and the price was very reasonable. This is a first! I received an email from YELP, stating that they removed my review because they found it fell outside "content guidelines" and it didn't provide enough detail. I have a feeling the business complained about my review. In any event, I'm happy to be more specific. I had M&S do an estimate to cut down and trim a tree. Fortunately, I was at the house when the guys were there to do the work, because for some reason the communication between estimator (owner) and the guys that do the real work wasn't accurate. Ultimately, with my direction, the boys did a good job. Hint: Be sure you are supervising when any tree work is done. In any event, a couple months later, I called for another estimate with M&S for a smaller tree, and the estimate doubled in cost. I asked the estimator (the owner of M&S) why a smaller tree would cost double? And his response is really the cause of this review, because it was pretty stunning. His response to me was; "It is what it is" and he said it with such disdain! I was pretty shocked. Needless to say, I didn't hire him to do the job and contacted another company that was far less....by about 50% Why would I re-hire a company that treats it's customers in this way, and whose prices change with the wind? And if the company want to complain again, I'd be happy to continue to re-write this and re-write this until I get it right! Truth sometimes hurts. Might I suggest that a better approach would be to work on your customer service skills and develop prices that are consistent, and not so; "whatever I feel like today" ? You lost one customer, work on the others. read more
