Good: Venue is beautiful (5 Stars) especially on a bright sunny day just as I mentioned in my prior review. There was ample room for a boardwalk for the fashion show and numerous tables for the raffle baskets. The new attractive white chairs with comfortable seat cushions were nice. Bad: The food served was not as good as in past under a different owner. Not even close. Salad and coffee were good. Served one flat bland roll with a dollop of sweet butter. No bread basket on table. The rolled chicken with a sweet bread and herb stuffing was terrible. It was over baked and dry. It was hard to cut, chew, and swallow. A small amount of gravy did not make a difference. Broccoli and sliced potatoes were okay, nothing special. Half of our table ate hardly any chicken. What a waste. The dessert was Strawberry Shortcake. The shortcake tasted salty. Service: Servers were pleasant, and we felt sorry for them only serving water and coffee after the salad service because it took the kitchen almost an hour to get the main dish "plated." We waited too long after the salad was served.

Our wedding was a perfect day and the venue, the wait staff, and our coordinator Ashley Dariano made it all possible. They just did renovations this year and the property is outstanding. We loved having our ceremony outdoors and then getting to have a climate controlled area for our dinner and reception. We would recommend anyone to have their wedding here!

My wife had the Turkey Club which was stacked high with Turkey etc..... it was served with fries. I ordered the Pancakes, eggs and sausage breakfast. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage was very tasty. The server was extremely cordial, keeping our coffee cups filled with very good coffee. We were not rushed at all like your normal restaurant/Diner and this made for a very nice experience. I would recommend trying it out for Brunch on a Sunday morning.

We placed our orders with my wife ordering the Mediterranean pasta and the chicken Marsala for myself. The Marsala was good but could have used some additional sauce. My wife was disappointed with the pasta as it was very dry and lacking of any flavor. Since it was a show night we assume the pasta was precooked and dried out in the kitchen. Clam Chowder and cheese cake we're excellent. We didn't say anything about the pasta to our server as she was an excellent waitress and not looking to stress her out. We will give it another try but not on a show or an event night.

Earlier, it had seen much activity during the 1751 French and Indian Wars and later, during World War II, it housed temporary billeting for war factory workers. Attended a family wedding here and the ambience was impressive. The food was on the order and magnitude of Michelin guide books. Views and vistas of the river and the manicured grounds were memorable, made doubly so during the splendid explosion of autumn foliage colors! Solid 5 stars. Even the water infiltration into our bathroom caused by a roof leak due to the two days of nonstop rain couldn't detract from the overall experience. We simply asked the front desk for extra towels and partied on (whilst the plumbers were called). Thank you staff of Glen Sanders for a wonderful experience and thank you readers for reading my review.

My personal feeling is that they need to step up the food game. During the appetizer hour the shrimp and the meatballs were good, the little (cheese steak?) sandwiches were pretty greasy. At dinner, the salads seemed plated and dressed well beforehand (mostly cores with soggy croutons). The beef dish was good (I had a bite of someone's) the chicken (parm) was not good at all.
