Since then, she has had 4 different locations and I am still loyal to her as ever. I cannot say anything negative about this amazing woman. She is an incredible esthetician with lots of knowledge and skills. I have gotten facials since I was 14 and she is the best esthetician I have had the pleasure of meeting. When I first saw her, I had moderate cystic-like acne and active acne with multiple breakouts per month. Just after few months of treatment (1-2x a month facials), my acne was less severe, scars were less noticeable, and I started breaking out less. Fast forward 2 years, I started getting compliments on my complexion from strangers. Now, I break out only when I eat certain foods (milk chocolate, french fries, pizza) or around my period. So ever since then, I have been on her appointment book once a month for the past 4 years. Wow. That's crazy but I am so thankful that I have found Dagmar! Her prices are very fair as well. She is also known for eyelash extensions, reiki (energy healing - has done a lot of incredible work on me!), and electrolysis. She is always booked out weeks so make sure you make an appointment right after you're finished with your session. Not only is she an incredible esthetician but she is also an AMAZING person; I can't describe it, you have to meet her and see for yourself. She has a HUGE heart and is such an empathetic, sympathetic, compassionate, understanding, wholesome person. She pretty much knows my whole life story lol so she is like my family. Last Christmas I even gave her a gift - that's how much she means to me! I've even seen her teenage son grow like 6+ inches within the past few years because I literally have been seeing her every month for the past 4 years (wasn't kidding about this!). I can honestly say that Dagmar is definitely an important person in my life and I am so glad that I have met her - she has made a positive influence in my life both aesthetically and spiritually. I have had around 50 total hours of electrolysis on those areas; which have been worked on by a handful of electrologists all along Puget Sound. When I saw my other electrologists, I would always leave those appointments with super red, inflamed, sometimes burned, blistered, scabbed over skin. Not to mention, the treatments themselves were painful because insertion of the needle was done incorrectly. My skincare routine following those appointments consisted of Neosporin all over my face, everyday, for upwards of a week until the treated areas healed. Unsightly to say the least. Dagmar is undoubtedly the best. The fact that I feel no pain during treatment and very mild redness afterwards speaks for itself. Her aesthetics background further validates why I feel so comfortable getting treated by her. After 3+ months of treatment, still can't believe how happy my skin is during/after electrolysis at Melange Spa. If you are looking for an electrologist, take my word for it and go see Dagmar. Also for anyone reading, my new lash artist has already told me the previous lash application had too much glue which was causing the damage to my lashes that Amanda told me was normal- no care whatsoever. I had been a patient off and on for years and thought I could trust this person. He had told me that I would be kept comfortable during the procedure but while under "anesthesia" I saw the other side of his personality. I was wide awake and horrified the whole time so I nervously chattered away, trying to make myself believe it wasn't so bad. I won't go into all the horrific details. I have responded politely the first three times knowing that someone has transposed my phone number. Having worked in Health Care I grasp that their real patient very likely is not receiving appt reminders nor test results because their messaging system called " Klara" which is a combo of software and AI is glitching due to an input error. I have left texts, left voicemails and spoken to office personnel, one of whom told me the practice was having issues with messages going to folks other than their patients. This person attempted to tell me that one of their patients and myself shared the same phone number and that their patient was ignoring messages which is why I got messages despite not being a patient. I tried to tell them that in the US two different individuals don't have identical phone numbers while living in different states. I would be cautious about using this practice until they straighten out their medical records and messaging system.
