No more chewy crust, it has been replaced with a bland cracker crust, but worse than that is the sauce. Now it's just straight up tomato paste. The XL 20 inch pizza slices are incredible. Very cheesy and the number of toppings that are offered is extensive. The place is small, but nicely decorated with New York sports memorabilia as well as a few nods to Seinfeld and, of course, the five boroughs of NYC! We ate the food so fast I forgot to take a photo. Came here with our friends and kiddos. I had the Leonardo calzone and the boys split a large Vesuvius. The calzones are $16 so I was hoping it wouldn't be a few bites. It came out and it's a 2ft calzone cut in half. It's big enough for two meals. The dough to stuffing ratio was perfection. It was cooked well and the dipping sauce was delicious. The pizza was such a unique flavor and I love NY style pizza. The jalapeños definitely added a kick and would highly recommend this pizza if you like a bit of spice. Ordering was easy at the counter. It's not a very big restaurant. They had about 7 or 8 tables inside and a few more outside. Be warned it is not the most toddler friendly. They don't have high chairs so you basically hope you get a booth and trap them next to the wall. It'd be a wonderful spot to grab takeout though. Went in for a slice at 8:15. They close at 9. They said 'sorry, we ran out of slices'. Wtf?! You're a pizza place and I came here specifically because you say you sell by the slice. So, make another f'n pizza and sell me a slice! Oh well... Great pizza - New York style - great crust. They are truly from NY so know their pizza. Only downside is that they get busy. Very busy. And sometimes when they tell you it is 45 minutes - it ends up more like 1:15 hours. Not a ton of seating in there either. But the pizza is so good. read more

YUM! Seeking something quick and easy for an office lunch, a quick search showed me M.C.'s Brooklyn Pizzeria. I was sold! ++ We called in an order and about 30 minutes later we had our order in hand. Timeliness is key when you're dealing with a hangry group setting up a new office, and this came in clutch. ++ We opted for two large pies: Manhattan and Napoleon. The Manhattan has pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushroom, black olive, and bell pepper. The Napoleon has pepperoni, sausage, meatball, and mozzarella. The sauce and dough are made fresh daily and it shows! The pies were great, full of flavor, and cooked up perfectly. ++ The large is truly LARGE! With six of us sharing, we had more than enough for a slice of each and some leftovers. The place certainly smells like a pizza shop from back home. I went in only to get a soda but ended up with a slice too because of the smell. The staff and I talked the entire time I was there as I was there alone. The pizza was good but there was something about the sauce that wasn't what I was expecting. No, it wasn't bad, it was just different but I couldn't put my finger on what. They don't have delivery but that's not why I gave 4 stars. It was the sauce. I am having a terrible time ordering from this pizzeria. I have heard wonderful things about them, and we have tried and tried to order from them. Just a few weeks ago, I tried to go into their restaurant in person to make a take out order on a Monday. Their website said they would be open, but they were closed when I got there. It was mid-day. Again, I am trying to order from them ahead of time now. However, I can't seem to access any form of website. It seems like they are shut down? Are they going to be open tomorrow ? This pizzeria is *chefs kiss* uhhhhgg soooooo goood! I've had it twice this week... lol I'm obsessed. It tastes so delicious! The staff is incredible and honestly I love how they call me by name when I walk in to pick up my pizza pie. (I've only been twice). It's so cozy and quaint and makes you feel at home when you're there. I highly recommend M.C.'s. It's the absolute best pizza. Ok do to start....I've lived in NYC, AND North Jersey. So I know my NY style pizza. I was convinced when moving here, that I wouldn't find pizza even close to it. MC Pizza has shocked me! I will say, order the mushroom or pepperoni pizza if you don't mind mushrooms/pepperoni. I've had both the plain cheese and the mushroom. The mushroom was better by fair and I think it was because of the oils just like pepperoni pizza crust tends to be more crispy. (Personal theory) We also ordered the mozzerella sticks and yum!! Can be occassionally too salty, BUT overall fried well and taste cheesy and crunchy. The mushroom pizza also can have too much cheese sometimes, but the marinara sauce is made really well. For Denver pizza they do a good job! They also have a small patio, that allows dogs. read more

We needed a couple pizzas for a party last night so called up MC's to try out some of their signature pies. Ordered the Manhattan and a Veggie and everything came out pretty good. I would classify their pizza as more of a Colorado than NY style which is still very good, but does not have that real thin crust offering that you would find from a fat sully's or a cosmo's. I don't know if it is possible to have a NY style crust that could hold up to 4-5 different toppings so they may make the signature pies differently. read more

I usually enjoy it here but this was a rough visit. I used the Slice app to order (which the website recommended), and ended up waiting 25 mins as punishment. They hadn't even started my order when I got there even though I had received a text saying it was ready. I was told it would be "12 more minutes." Only one person (the cook) was hustling. When I inquired about the status 20 minutes later and mentioned the app, the staff told me, "Oh that app sucks. Just call us next time." My Italian beef salad was a disaster too. The meat was extremely salty and it was riddled with handfuls of olives, which aren't listed as an ingredient. I try to support local but this was a miserable experience. read more
