Every hors d'oeuvre and entree we sampled had outstanding flavor and was displayed beautifully, even as a buffet. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, and the tortilla and parmesan crusted chicken breast was to die for! Our guests are STILL texting me saying how much they loved the food we had at the wedding! Not only was the food delicious, but Santa Barbara Catering's service and attention to detail was second to none. Our tables, linens and decor were laid out exactly as I envisioned. The beautiful colored napkins and fruitwood chairs really classed up our event and made the reception all the more gorgeous. Nobody was ever without food or drink in hand thanks to the fabulous wait staff who was working our event. There was even a gentleman who came all the way out to where we were taking photos with our photographers (which was a several minute walk from the reception) just to bring my groom and I water and hors d'oeuvres to make sure we weren't getting faint or too hungry to continue. We had the most beautiful, delicious dinner we could possibly have hoped for and we cannot recommend Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering Company enough! But I'll try my best to sum it up because you deserve all the kudos! Every guest raved about the food and that was exactly what I strived for when selecting our caterer and menu. It felt like a dream come true. I had the opportunity to try everything and it was absolutely incredible - it was exactly as it was served to us at our tastings. Our vendors were blown away when they were served an actual meal, not just a "boxed vendor meal". This was so important to me because I know how hard everyone works all day and that is exactly what they deserve. This is just another detail that speaks to the character behind Atlasta. We knew there was a possibility she would be spooked so it was really nice working with a professional in a familiar environment. Marissa and another team member arrived with the taco cart to grill a menu of carne asada, chicken, and carnitas. They set up a beautiful display inside with all the toppings, chips and salsa, a southwestern Caesar salad with chipotle dressing, and a beautiful fruit tray. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Marissa and her team made hosting a party of 30+ seamless, and when it was time to wrap up service, they thoughtfully packed up the leftovers for us to enjoy later. The taste of food is great, the locations are convenient, and there are some great deals and promotions. We went this weekend to Postino Arcadia for a date night, and like usual, we were quite impressed! We made a reservation in advance on their website, and we were able to sit down without any wait. The host and serving staff were all very helpful and considerate. Being 6:30 PM on a Friday evening, we didn't know if we should expect it to be very busy or quite empty (as it was summertime). It turned out to be moderately busy, and we found a self-parking spot right away in the parking lot. There were more open spots when we arrived than when we left. There are valet options in addition to the self-parking though (but we didn't need them). We met one of the servers and asked for recommendations as we were craving a bruschetta board (four toasts each cut into four pieces) along with a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We knew three of the four bruschetta options we were going to choose but struggled choosing the last one, so the server offered to bring us the one we don't choose to try. We also didn't want bacon on the grilled cheese and asked about a meat substitute. While there was a charge for any additional substitute, we just decided we didn't need the meat in the first place with the bruschetta coming, too. The food was all delicious as usual and arrived rather quickly. We don't know how this location's food and service could be any better! We have signed up for the ePosse and have enjoyed receiving birthday promotions including a free dessert as well as something special for our Postino anniversary. Or instead of Postino, it can be used at other Upward Projects restaurants including Windsor, Federal Pizza, or Joyride Taco. Happy hours are also great daily until 5 PM with $6 wine by the glass or pitchers of beer. On Monday and Tuesday evenings after 8 PM, you can order a full bottle of wine and a bruschetta board for only $25. We love Postino and will be back!!
