This is a Costco for restaurants. AND large families. (Do we have any large families here in Utah?…read moreLOL) So in a nutshell, this is an industrial warehouse for restaurants. And it makes it ideal for large families who want to add to their food storage and everyday items. My many photos do not do this place justice. I recommend that you pinch and zoom in on the photos to see a sampling of items that they have. Frankly, they have stuff in large sizes that you will not see at Costco or Sam's. You will also see items that you never see in either place or the grocery store. They have everything a restaurant would need. Not just food items of ALL kinds, but kitchen utensils, food warmers, fryers, containers of all kinds (that you've never seen before), pizza boxes, etc. etc. etc. One thing that excites me is that moving from Tucson where Shamrock's products were in every grocery store meant that I could hardly find any Shamrock products here in Utah. In my opinion, they have the best tasting milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, and definitely the best egg nog. Now I can get their milk and egg nog here!!! Really, try their egg nog. The prices seem average. They have a loyalty plan that will get you cheaper prices by a little. Some of their prices will impress, some will be about the same as a grocery store. But there is the quantity thing. I don't think that most non-restaurant people will be doing a huge shopping trip to this warehouse, but you will find some great things to put in your pantry, extra fridge, or freezer. I certainly have made a list. That's exciting that they are here. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Lots of homes being built and this particular location doesn't seem too busy yet. In fact, the parking lot was pretty empty and the store itself wasn't crowded at all. Kind of enjoyed shopping without bumping into people. Loved the deals! Monica was right about signing up for their emails to hear about special promotions or events. Really bummed we missed their Easter activity! Anyway, the aisles are spacious and clean. The shelves are well stocked with a variety of items. Happy to have found a few of my favorite things here!

My favorite part was the large selection of fresh and marinated meats, they've got cuts you can't find in a chain grocery store. It's all displayed behind a case, you ask the butcher to weigh the amount you're looking for, then it's bagged and tied up. I got a pound of the marinated flap steak to grill for tacos - it's absolutely amazing! The produce section is a bit limited, but there is plenty of what is needed for Mexican and Central American cuisine; Roma tomatoes, aloe vera, cilantro, radishes, peppers, limes, green onions, yellow and white onions, key limes, etc. Every lime I touched was the perfect ripeness, a very different experience than most other stores' citrus selections. There were many different sizes of corn and flour tortillas, some were crispy, some were made from blue corn, big bags, small bags. I loved the drink selection here of Mexican beers, aloe drinks, yogurt and fruit drinks, etc. There are a few aisles of dry and canned goods, pastas, beans, cooking oils, chips, masa, lots of Mexican sweets, shampoo, household cleaning items. I noticed this market has an awesome hot sauce and spice selection right next to the meat counter, you could probably read bottles for 30 minutes and still have more to see. I found some excellent freshly made unlabeled salsa in a fridge by the check out (very tasty, very spicy!), some baked goods, and a selection of tortilla presses and other cooking implements by the entrance. The staff is very friendly and speaks mostly Spanish, but language wasn't a barrier at all, I got everything I needed here! In love and I'll be back!
