Obviously, Lisa and her team did a fantastic job with the landscaping. She presented me with three different design options, worked with me to stay within my budget, and then executed the project exactly as she explained she would. She even moved my project up on the schedule after I mentioned I was planning to sell my house soon, which I really appreciated. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. She was organized, proactive, and always kept me informed. It was honestly refreshing. If you want to roll the dice and deal with the same frustrations I experienced with two other landscaping companies before finding Lisa, go for it. Liberty continually left the gates to our backyard open after cutting our lawn. The first time occurred on our wedding day in July when the dogs escaped. We called, no joke, every time (4 in total!) they left our gates open, and each time they assured us it would never happen again. It happened over and over, and our dogs escaped and roamed the neighborhood. You cannot see the side gates from the backyard when we're out with the dogs which is why we called them and relied on them to fix this problem. This is so basic, but they couldn't do it. It was so frustrating!

I called this business in March for an estimate. We settled on a price and work the first week in April and had made some changes. The work was for "spring clean up", which would include leaf pick up left over from fall, mowing, edging, trimming bushes, clean up flower beds which should and Had included sharp edges to the beds, and mulching. Plus added to that a small area for sod. An agreement was made and I was told that work would begin the next monday. So that would have been 4/12. Well no service, there was some snow. Again a call asking when service would be done...I was told the next Monday. That did not happen. Again a call asking when service would happen and was told the next Monday which would have been 4/27. Ah...no show. Then Tuesday 4/28 no show. A call made 4/28 asking when they would come and was told the next day 4/29. Unfortunately lots and lots of rain on 4/29. So showed up on 5/1. Mowed, edged the lawn, mulched the yard, but many areas were mulched that I did NOT ask to be mulched, especially my flower beds with plants still emerging!!!. They Did NOT clean up edges(make sharp edges) around flower beds although that was the expectation with "spring clean up". Rather they were just mulched over although I did NOT request mulch in those areas, but DID request clean up. Bushes in front NOT trimmed as requested and part of estimate. I had used this service for the past 2 years for clean up and they did a good job. NOT this year...terrible job and they have not finished it yet. Plus I will now need to remove mulch in places it should not be, places I did not ask for. Terrible, terrible service this year I am sorry to have to report.
