My landlord's handyman contacted Byron after he couldn't figure out an electrical problem. The handyman worked on trying to resolve the issue for 2 days, and it was starting to look like it was a much bigger issue than we anticipated. Byron and Miguel came over around 4pm - when most people would want to head home and come by the next day. They were super thorough - looking through every outlet, checking the wires, and found that my old knob and tube wiring was melting the plastic around it. A huge fire hazard! After working for a few hours, Byron said he'd be back the next day to finish the job. He said it would take another 3-4 hours, and it took 3.5 hours! He replaced the bad wires with new ones, added safety/fireproofing on the outlets, and even checked the circuit breaker to ensure the switches were all in good shape. He was thorough but didn't do more than needed to be done to be safe - no upselling or anything. I now have working power, WiFi, and heat again for the first time in a week. I'd highly recommend hiring Byron for any of your electrical needs. He's punctual, responsive, courteous, clean, and clearly a great electrician. He arrived on time, was able to solve our issue (2 Dedicated circuits gage #12 AWG wire under the kitchen sink that had incorrect wiring on separate circuits and he made up dedicate circuits one for each receptacle), and did it for a fair price compared to other estimates we received. The second time, he came to give me a quote to fix a broken bathroom heated sub-flooring. He spent quite some time narrowing down the issue and took care of some other items in order to eliminate potential causes. For instance, he of the burnt-out floor heating thermostat.
