I am a first time car owner and am very lacking in knowledge about cars and what I need to do when it comes to fixing them. Despite a multitude of issues with my car, Bob was super patient with me and took time explaining the process and his recommendations for my vehicle. He made it clear that helping me was a priority which I really appreciated. Bob made me feel really valued as a customer and reassured me that my own choices were the most important (even if my choice was stupid haha). Overall, super friendly and helped mitigate the stress from my car not being functional. Thank you to Bob!! Such friendly and wonderful service. He really knows his stuff. I've had one repair after the engine light came on and no issues since. I recently needed my mom's Ford repaired as well. I called and informed Megan what was going on. She called me back in under an hour with the estimate for an alternator. I had the vehicle towed to the shop that Wednesday. I was given a heads up the vehicle would not be done until Friday or Monday. Which I appreciated, I was ok with it. We didn't need the car those days. On Friday I was informed they found an oil leak and what caused the alternator to fail. The price was reasonable for the repairs. I know on that specific vehicle, the alternator was going to be work to get to. The vehicle has been driving great since. No issues. I get a very honest vibe every time from them. I also checked with reddit and many people suggested Vander Hamm instead of hanlee toyota or Aaa, as someone sometimes in the car industry I'm picky about the Quality of work and a professional transaction. I called them from Torrance CA a week ahead & arranged to show up 4/24 and I ended up coming an hour early and they squeezed me in, I dealt with Blane White and he was professional on the phone and in person, the car was dropped off around 9am and finished at 1030am exactly as promised, and they gave it a good once over and quoted me on replacing the Tpms sensors for 110$ each, which is reasonable, as the dealer wanted 250-300 each sensor, so I will definitely consider it. Great place super professional and honest and there's no drama. Highly recommend, and make an appointment as it's a busy place.

Flakes in my engine oil, transmission fluid leak, missing a sway bar, ball joints completely worn, tie rod ends also completely worn...not one of those items mentioned in their inspection report. $100 to install a turn switch indicator...didn't work properly when I received the car back. No comment on it. Did not even attempt to test it before giving it back to me. Gents at the front desk are polite but have no integrity or they simply just don't care. Severely disappointing as this shop used to be the definition of outstanding service. You're better off selling a kidney and going to the dealership, these guys will just cut corners until there's a major repair they can overcharge you for.

Like who does that kind of service these days? That sold me on having them do work on my car, so I brought it in today to see if they could figure out and fix an issue that I was sure the dealership that had worked on my car last (and charged me a fortune for) messed up. Not only did they determine it was exactly what I had thought, but they reduced the already low inspection price for me and I swear they again didn't charge me for the actual repair. What I had expected to pay at least $300 for only cost $90 and they had it finished in just a few hours! Plus omgosh is every single employee there the nicest person ever.
