Something didn't feel right, so I told my husband to bring it here instead because I actually trust these guys. Best decision ever. Turns out nothing the dealership said was true. The tech here literally brought me into the back, walked me under the car, and showed me everything in detail. He pointed out the exact things the dealership claimed were wrong--and showed me that everything was completely fine. I don't understand much about cars, but they never make you feel dumb. I've read through the reviews both good and bad. Cant speak to new Management, Ownership or anything else of that nature- but I maybe believe it. I generally do my own work unless it's something more advanced or beyond my skill set. In those instances, I've previously come here. Back in the day (10+ years ago), the mechanics here were awesome May of 2023 I brought in my '99 Ranger to get the A/C checked. According to Natomas Auto Care, it had a faulty low point Schrader valve which caused loss of refrigerant. They 'repaired' it. June of 2024, A/C was not blowing cold anymore, brought it back in. They said same issue, but the repair was out of warranty, but (supposedly) gave me a 50% discount since it was the same issue a year later. August 2025, guess what? A/C no longer blowing cold yet again... Will find someone else to repair it who can get it right the first time... read more

I'm not gonna lie, at first I was pissed off because I didn't realize my AC hose was leaking and had just expected to go in for a simpler, less expensive job. That being said, when I went to pick up the vehicle, the mechanic was very fair with me about the price which calmed me down a bit, and it's not like it was their fault that I needed a new AC hose. They also gave me a super cute labubu car air freshener. I know, I know. If I may also comment on how amazing the office smelled. It's definitely the best smelling front office of an auto shop I've ever been in. My five year old daughter kept sniffing the place like a hound. Horrible service and horrible work! Overpricing and telling you things you don't need I came in asking for one piece that I know I need they charge you a diagnostic fee and said it will be waived once you go along with fixing it. Ask diagnostic say they unavailable to get that part. That's a lie you did want me to pay less to get the part but rather charge me 155! I went to next place the put the piece right on quick and easy and I was able to drive right off! Just lien to get more money! read more

The A/C in my 2015 Honda was not cooling properly. I sent a request to bring my car in for a diagnostic inspection utilizing the contact email on their website. I submitted it on a Sunday, expecting an answer when they opened at 9 am Monday. To my surprise I received a response a few hours later still on Sunday and not a "Chat Robot" but a real person. I was able to set up an appointment for Monday still utilizing the email format. I dropped my car off and on the same day a leak in my condenser, diagnosed as the problem, was repaired and the A/C recharged. The staff was courteous and patiently answered questions I had. My A/C is now keeping the interior cool in these 90-100 degrees days. I have used Natomas Auto Care for all of my oil changes and will continue to have them service my car! read more

I towed my car to Natomas Auto Care after it broke down on I-5 and wouldn't restart on Sept. 14, 2025. Prior to this service call, I would have given Natomas Auto Care a 4* review. I ended up being told I needed a new Engine. Okay, I agreed to a Used Engine due to all the items I was told was wrong. Today I'm complaining about the quality of work. There is so many screws left off, linings discarded, clamps missing and a couple miscellaneous rods or something goes in the holes. The Engine is so dirty. From a family of business owners, we would have at least power washed the excess oil before giving it back to the Customer as complete. They later discovered the Transmission was no good, stating the Trans (CVT) could have caused the Engine damage. I ordered my own used Transmission which came with a Warranty, however, Natomas Auto does not really fix or service Transmissions so they asked if they could tow it to the Transmission shop for a diagnosis. Quoting us $400 fee but we didn't let them do more then a diagnosis, costing $189.50, rather than $400. The price they quoted us to repair Trans was over $2100 to repair. Bad thing about that is when I asked where they had sent my car , Natomas Auto told me they could not tell me that information. I felt like a serial bomber. I asked, "so you can't tell me where my car is". The mechanic answered a flat NO. Since I refused the Transmission shop repair, I was told I could come pick up my car with a Tow truck because it won't go over about 20 miles per hour and the Trans is stuck in one gear. I'd taken a car for an oil change here before, but this is a different car, it was about a year ago. They gave me the best price in town at that time, girl in the front was very nice and the guy who performed the service was very good. But this time I called them first to get the price on my new car, the girl wasn't very nice, kinda had an attitude and told me it will be $80 then when I got there, she told me it will be $98 since my car is new, I asked her how so and she gave me an attitude saying "I don't know why don't you ask the dealership", I canceled my appointment with the other oil change place to come here because I liked the pricing and the service I received last time, but this time I'm very dissatisfied with the the way she talked to me and also she told me some filter is dirty and needs to be replaced and it will be $245, it reminds me of when I first got my car... I told her no thanks. And one more thing, they put the air in my tires but they didn't put the same air pressure in the right front tire... I won't be going back to this place... read more

Calls to see if they could do a transmission drain and fill on my car and even gave me a quote. They said to bring it on down and they would get to it the same day. I dropped off my car an hour later and took a Lyft home just to get a call 30 minutes later saying they can't do a drain and fill on my car and that they have to do a flush but they don't have a flush machine. I let them know that's not true because I've had a transmission drain and flush on my car before at other repair shops and it's strongly recommended not to get a flush done on high mileage cars because it could cause damage by dislodging debris. They just kept repeating false information that my car can only have a transmission flush . 2016 Chevy Malibu. I'm very disappointed with this business especially since they had my car information when I called and said they could do it. Now I'm out the money for two Lyft trips and wasted over an hour of my day for their mistake and incorrect information. read more

Don't come, here go somewhere else!!! Horrible staff and poor quality work. The service has gone downhill recently from the front desk customer service to the actual technicians working on your car. I have been coming here for 3 years but this place has apparently gone downhill with the recent changes and management. I came in for an oil change today and headlight replacement per my scheduled appointment, totally regret it! 1) The technician left a piece of wood board underneath my car when it was returned to me. How can he be so careless and not double check his work before he was done? 2) the front desk girl tried to charge me for a diagnostic fee to change my headlight when I was told by the technician that they never even looked at my headlights because they don't have the parts for it and would've had do actually do a diagnostic by taking my bumper apart to see if it was just the bulb that was needed or the ballast which they were not instructed to do. He only did the oil change. I waited 2.5 hours thinking I was going to get my headlight repaired per my scheduled appointment but none of that was done. No update or communication from the front desk girl while I was sitting in their waiting room for 2 1/2 hours This place is a joke! read more

I have been going here off and on for a few years and this last time I was very disappointed with the service I brought my car in for a oil change which includes them checking fluids and and my breaks. July 9th I went and got a oil change and was told everything was fine. However that wasn't the case I in fact needed front brakes. A few days ago I'm driving down the street and I hear this weird sound when I push down on the brakes which tell me I need brakes. I take my car to another shop for a break inspection and they inform me my break and rubbing metal to metal. When I call Natomas auto center I'm told my break was at a 4 and they don't recommend replacing them till I'm at a 3. Now I don't know much about cars but I don't believe in a matter of less then two weeks you can go from a lever 4 to being metal to metal. Long story short I don't trust this company with my car or the safety of my family. I took my car somewhere else the get the break pads and new rotors put on. read more
