Went in for a pedicure & full set. The technician on my feet asked what kind of free drink i wanted and i chose wine. The receptionist brought out a plastic cup (totally fine right?) i specifically asked why they didn't give me a glass like they had before and he told me they didn't give out the glasses anymore. 30 minutes later a white woman walks in and sits across me for her pedicure, and she is given a glass of wine in a wine glass. I was appreciative they accepted walk ins because I needed a last minute manicure ASAP. Walking in the place is beautiful-& even had a bar (I immediately thought I needed to come back to see what that was about!) I was quickly met by an employee who led me to a station. I must admit-this was the slowest, sloppiest, painful manicure I've ever had. I had to point out the uneven cutting and left over cuticle when she claimed she was finished. I winced and audible said ouch until I couldnt take it anymore. I asked for someone else to finish the service. A nice young lady named Wendy (I hope I got that right) came and saved the day! She fixed the situation quickly and painlessly. I cant speak on her polishing skills because I opted out of polish but the hand massage at the end was nice. I should have read the reviews first! My friend picked this salon so we went with her choice. I got a manicure and gel pedicure. The pedicure was not pleasant. The woman who did my nails used the scrubby brush on the bottom and top and scratched the top of my foot--that skin is soft there was no reason for that. When I alerted her to the fact that she scratched me, she dismissed it. I had on a jacket that I had taken off in the salon. I was also wearing a long skirt. When it was time to move from the pedicure chair to the manicure area, I had to carry my purse, jacket, phone, shoes and lift up my skirt while I walked. I've never been at a salon where the person didn't offer to help me carry things when they know we have to move (at least my shoes). As a result of holding up my skirt , it slipped and grazed 2 of my toenails. I let her know so she could fix them. She seemed exasperated and said, "you should have been careful". She re-did the nails that got messed up but sloppily. I had to tell her to do it over nicely. When it was time to move to the manicure area again, she still simply watched me struggle without helping me carry anything. I had brought a picture of the nail style I wanted. The manicurist wasn't sure if she could do it but didn't tell me that until we were already halfway through the gel process. So she had to ask someone else and they both commiserated about the options and technique and took a long time to figure out the method. And it still didn't come out exactly right. It was supposed to be more of a glazed cat eye but some of the nails just looked sparkly. But at least the manicurist wasn't rude like the pedicurist. The pedicurist left before I was finished which is just as well--I was able to give a nice tip to the manicurist because even if she took a long time and it wasn't exactly what I wanted, at least she was nice and apologetic about it. The nails didn't look bad, just not what I had hoped for. All in all the place was a nice layout and clean. But the gruff pedicurist, the slow service, and not getting exactly what I came for all factor into not recommending this place for the future. read more

This was hands down the worst pedicure I've ever had. The staff was cold and unwelcoming from the start, and the overall vibe was uncomfortable. I usually don't write reviews, but this experience was just that bad. My feet actually looked better before the pedicure. The polish was thin and uneven, and when I politely mentioned it, the technician looked visibly annoyed, as if I was the problem. I should've trusted my gut and left, but I stayed and regretted it. I ended up going to another salon just to get it repolished. They were shocked when I told them I had just come from a nail salon...it looked that bad. Never again. read more

worst nail salon i have ever been too. the employees were extremely rude, overcharged me and my friend and refused to let us see the prices he was claiming they charged and would not give us a receipt. Vincent is absolutely HORRIBLE and has no customer service , barely speaks english. the tech who did my nails refused to do gel on mine and used powder after i specifically said i did not want powder. she also failed to mention the powder was $20 extra and then tried to lie and say she told me. she couldn't speak any english so no she did not tell me it was extra. when confronted both her and Vincent were extremely rude to me and my friend and were talking about us in whatever language they speak it. absolutely horrible place and deserves to be shut down!!! not to mention these nails were for my wedding and they are all bumpy and not even the right shape! a plain ugly square shape, not the shape i asked for and that they tried to charge me for! read more

I've been here a few times in the beginning when they first open in the area I thought what a nice elegant nail shop. It's very pretty everything looks nice and clean. I love the ambience. It's pretty pricey and I don't mind paying for good service but when you do something without asking or even saying it would be an extra charge it makes me so mad. I hate when these nail shops always suggest something to you and don't explain it would be an extra charge. I don't like to be hustled and my experience with my lip, chin, and eyebrow wax here made me feel like I was bamboozled! Being charged an extra $15 for the hair under my lip to be waxed was wired to me when it literally under below my top lip/chin. My nails were nice just a little acrylic overlay if my own nails. $50 no tips and $40 for peI had to return the next day for my toes to be redone because the polish was bubbled, tacky, and not polished to the cuticle. read more

I came into this salon last night, rather than my usual place, and I was very happy with the results! I originally came in because I saw they were open later than most salons, and I figured I'd give it a shot. I've been overdue for a refill/cutdown for ages now, because I keep getting stuck at work until 7pm or later. I arrived at the salon around 7:20pm, and I fully expected to get asked to come back when there was more time. Forty minutes for a refill is definitely pushing it! But the gentleman at the desk said they'd be able to fit me in, and he immediately pointed me to an open chair. The nail technician, Linh Vu, was lovely. She did very quick work, but also very good work, and checked in with how I felt about the nails' length/color/shape/etc., at every point. I love how they turned out, and it is such a relief to no longer have to worry about my nails being overly long and grown out. I'll definitely visit again--the hours and the location right near Whole Foods are just too convenient. But next time I'll make sure to bring cash. The sign at the counter saying "Cash tips only" caught me by surprise this time. :-/ read more

It's a no for me. I randomly decided to come here since it was down the street from my gym and my normal salon was packed. I don't think I'd go back. They were nice and the job was done quick, but almost too quick. I'm someone who likes to get what I pay for with my nails, and if I'm spending 50+ dollars, I want my nails to be nice. My girl couldn't do my nail art at all. It wasn't complicated, but every time she tried it just looked bad. When I first showed her the picture I had a feeling it was gonna be an issue because she said, "you want that on all of them...?" It was just different moons on each nail (moon phases), so I thought it seemed pretty straight forward. Literally just circle and crescent shapes. Anyway, when it came time to do the nail art she couldn't get one moon drawn and kept saying, "I think those are stickers, so it's not going to look just like the picture." And she just kept drawing what looked like squiggly letter C's. The picture DIDNT have stickers by the way. So I had to randomly pick something last minute because we couldn't do what I'd originally picked and I wasn't going to pay for the wonky moons. I always take really funky nail art pics to my usual salon (Sweetheart Nails down the street) and they do an awesome job every single time and have never been unable to do anything I've requested and tbh they do it until it looks PERFECT. To be honest, this felt like a waste of money because I paid $63 for beige nails with random polka dots on my accent nails. Not at all what I wanted, but it was really all that could be done. I wish she would have been honest and said she couldn't do it from the beginning and just handed me off to someone that could. I won't stray from my regular place again. UPDATE: it's been less than 24 hours annnnd my nail is chipped. So annoyed. I went back and someone fixed it for free. But this was super inconvenient. Clean and fast service because I made an appointment. There was no friendly greeting from the guy behind the desk...acted like he was bothered I was there. The nail tech was great though, that's why the four stars. Sadly they only allow cash tips and I was unaware before I went. They do have an ATM in the lobby, but it tried to eat my card and it was very awkward as she stood by starring at me. I cancelled the transaction and told her thank you. Other bonus points they are open on Sunday, but I won't return. Too many friendlier options in town. read more

Wanted to try them out so I went and got a full set & pedicure.. the nails were okay got her to fix em to my liking a few times until we got them how I wanted them they were very bulky looking but we got it together , so far as the pedicure I would give 0 stars all she did was put my feet in water and got all the dead skin from the bottom of my feet I was expecting a little more for how much I was paying but I seen that they pick and choose who they want to give that treatment to also she was very aggressive while doing my feet I didn't like how rough she was when using equipment had to correct her several times to be more gentle .. wouldn't go again but glad I got the experience .. very great atmosphere just not overall worth it to me . read more

My nails look fine yet my cuticles are on some of them are messed up, and some of them were bleeding after she was done, clipping them not to mention the man who was in charge of my pedicure was scrubbing, whatever he was scrubbing, so deep into my legs, it actually left a mark and I paid $168 for a full set an a pedicure which to me for the fact that my cuticles were bleeding and I have a mark on my legs is way too much and the style itself as simple. read more

The overall ambiance is nice. However, don't get accustomed to a particular person whose work you like because they will no longer be working there when you return to be serviced again. The guy at the front desk has picks as to whom he wants to be personable with. I'm a frequent customer, yet he always seems annoyed when checking me in. I came in to M Vince on 12/31/2021, with my sister who has frequented this "place of business" once before me. My sister resides in the Towne Center area and mentioned she had gone once for a pedicure/manicure but prefers to keep them as a "plan B" to Tulips, when Tulip's is closed. She claimed her $90 pedicure was amazing but her manicure experience was less than thrilling. That should have been red flag #1. Yet I ignored, & proceeded to give them a chance. Here I am on New Years Eve, as it is the only nail salon in the area that is open, we enter and it's empty except for 1 other guest. Red flags #2. The salon is a beautiful establishment but don't be fooled by the glitz and glam like me. We enter the salon and are very dryly greeted by a male manager. I begin asking him questions about the difference between acrylic/gel/powder and he becomes visibly agitated and instead he seats my sister who knows exactly what she wants, and passes me off to a technician named, Henna Bui. I have only had acrylic nail sets since I ever first started getting my nails done 10 years ago. So I explain this to Henna, my nail tech because I am interested in trying something new that will last longer than acrylic because my birthday was in nine days (01/09) and I was in a wedding two weeks later (01/15). I was adamant that my main desire was health & longevity so I would pay what was required. Big mistake because of course Henna suggests that I get DIP POWDER ($42) with TIPS (+$10). She then shows me a photo of Ombre Dip set (+ $60) and suggest I also add that. She then pulls out glitter and adds that to the tips (+$5). She explicitly told me that my nails would be healthier after the service in comparison to acrylic due to the vitamins in the powder dip and that my nails would last "up to 3 weeks". SOLD. I didn't mind paying for the $100+ manicure because I was excited about trying something that would supposedly not damage my nails and would last long enough for both events. I get to the counter and my total comes to $198 & tip. Imagine how pissed I am when 3 days in to my set, my thumb nail cracks through the center while I'm buckling up. An acrylic nail would have NEVER broken from that type of action. I decide to take a photo of the nail with a time stamp in case things progressively got worse. I did not have the time or patience to go back to the salon for a repair but I needed proof that the set was not holding up as promised. By the time my birthday arrived on January 9th, 6/10 nails had cracks through the center and sadly enough the one thing I didn't want to happen, happened. On my actual birthday, while I am celebrating, the tip of my nail broke while simply catching a table top to prevent myself from tripping in my heels. Literally the smallest imaginable gesture broke the nail. I was in shock at how easily it broke & because the pain that I felt when this tip broke away from the dip was beyond excruciating. I have broken an acrylic nail once or twice in ten years and always, always, always the tip & acrylic breaks but NEVER my actual nail. This tip and powder was adhered to my real nail so tightly that when the two pieces separated, my nail bed caught all the stress of the break and my nail bed was cracked open. Because the powder and tip never released my natural nail, the blood was collecting between the two pieces, very painful and unsanitary. My pinky nail became infected. After my nail heals, I drag myself in on 1/11/21 for assistance on my lunch break. When I walk in I'm greeted by a female manager, I explain to her what happened & she agrees that my nails should not be cracking the way that they are! The manager calls Henna and she immediately asks me "What did you do?" I was extremely offended that she would question me in an accusatory manner as if I was to blame for the poor service. I remind Henna that I am an administrative assistant so all I do is type all day. She then implies that my nails are cracked because I tap on the keyboard daily. I AM NOT BUYING THAT! I tell Henna that if powder dip is so fragile that it breaks when typing, then it should not be offered as a longer lasting alternative to acrylic! The manager asks her what she wants to do & she agrees to fix all of the cracked nails but unfortunately its not enough time in my lunch break to fix them all. I tell them I will return on the 12th because I have to leave for the wedding aforementioned by the 13th. Long story short: ended up NAIL-LESS for wedding $110 & 12 days later. My nail technician was not trustworthy and management only offered me a free soak off & 10% discount on a $100+ service that they absolutely oversold. Was forced to soak off. I am disgusted to my core. Two of my nails became infected and the nail beds are permanently damaged. I have run out of characters and will continue this review on Google for those interested in how poorly things end. read more
