I asked them not to cut her nails just to be on the safe side. But she still got royal treatment with a foot massage and mani pedi. I was able to book an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I came here because I wanted to get my nails done sooner, I was happy made the appointment online and came here 15 min early. Dana was very nice, was attentive, I explained to her when I came in I have my long natural nails I just want them cut down a little bit and do building gel with French tip. After the initial getting prepped as she's cutting my long nails I told her not too short I still wanted length. She cuts a few of my nails too short. I'm upset because not only is it time I allowed my nails to grow a certain length just for them to be looking botched in the end. I tried to let it go, and then when it came to the color it just looked too thick. It looks more gooey than shiny and sleek like usual. I spent $65, I honestly was disappointed and I don't think I'll come back. Future advice always make sure you and your tech are on the same page and speak up. I made the mistake of not speaking up because of time and I don't want to make anyone feel bad. I wish I gotten better service or some assistance :/. Overall the place is pretty inside. read more

I recommend you try if you are looking for a new place to go! I am from out of town and went to 2 other salons which were so sketchy. This one is beautiful. About a year old in a newer shopping center called South Pointe Pavilion. (lulu lemon, Chico's, White House Black Market, Barnes and Noble etc. ) I had a regular mani pedi and my daughter had gel fills and pedi. They did a beautiful job. Officially my last visit. I've been going to M Vince for years and love the location and the elevated interior space. It's always been hit or miss with the skill level of the nail tech, but every time I'd get a bad job, the next time would have a great tech..and on and on for years. But lately, especially after my favorite techs are gone, I know I will not ever go back again. I used to get regular gel or dip (mixed results...) and then started to do builder/structure gel. This type of gel requires knowledge and special technique, but is common enough that there's no reason all the techs should not be able to execute it well. The last two visits have been bad and they really just don't know what they're doing technique-wise. Yesterday she drilled down to the natural nail, which isn't required with builder gel and is the point of builder gel to keeping the nail healthy. Sloppy, lumpy work, material flowing into the cuticle and nail sides. This is what the latest builder gel jobs have looked like lately. I could watch a few nail TikTok's and learn better technique. (Pink photos) The orange photos are dip done by a man that works there. He was bizarrely aggressive with my hands and held my fingers with an iron grip. Not only is the dip a complete mess, I left bleeding from 4 cuticles as you can see from the photos. Not the first time someone there has made me bleed. One time it wouldn't stop bleeding and they had to pack it with styptic powder, or something. I could share dozens of bad jobs but didn't always take photos and just sucked it up and complained to my husband when I got home. I feel terrible leaving this very negative review but I hope they see it and realize their minimum standard of service needs to improve, and they should really educate the techs in current nail techniques because I'd be sad for them to not stay in business. read more

I had an acrylic fill with Kenny, and It's very clear that he is not experienced enough to be doing acrylics. I'm honestly not even sure how he's certified. He globbed acrylic on my nails like a middle school art project and I left with both acrylic and top coat all over my fingers. He didn't at all check the lengths of my nails and match them to one other, nor the shape. It felt rushed and messy with no attention to detail and patience. If you're thinking about getting your nails done here, skip it and go down the street to mindy's. read more

My friend and I had made an appointment for today at 12:45pm. We didn't get sat until 1:30. We both wanted dip. When my friend kept asking for her nails to be shorter they wouldn't do it. Then when they started the dip process they didn't even do a base, just went straight to her color. Then someone started working on my nails and I had to ask for tips more than twice. I ate least got the dip base coat unlike my friend. My nails are so uneven, each nail looks like it has a valley in the middle. I tried to point it out but it didn't matter. They push you into doing more and more. Wanted just a basic pedicure and they told me removing callus' is part of the $42 pedicure so I needed that one since she had already started. Everywhere else I've gone basic removal bas been pretty standard no matter which one you get. They asked me five times if I wanted to get a manicure done as well. Worst massage I've ever had. Also automatically brought out shellac. Did not put me under a dryer nor put my shoes on before painting like other places do. They make you feel bad if you don't regularly get pedicures and manicures like everyone does that. Was not busy at all and I see why. Was NOT relaxing at all. Expensive. Toes were cut during Pedi. Nails cuts really short and had to be fixed. Staff was really nice but quality was just not there. Don't love getting nails done while getting the pedi. This is my new favorite spot when visiting Lincoln! The place is extremely clean, stylish, and has lots of color options to choose from! Not to mention, the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. My pedicure was very relaxing and she did a great job. The dip manicure was FANTASTIC. My sister and I went here on a whim after another salon was too busy. Kim did my manicure and she did a great job! I wanted regular polish and that's what I got- no one tried to push a more expensive package on me. My sister was getting a pedicure and they stationed us near each other so we talk to each other. I hadn't gotten my nails done in over a year so my cuticles were tough but Kim was very patient. We were offered drinks and nice conversation. Would recommend! read more

Beautiful facility and very clean. But that's about it. Walked I'm ready to relax and got greeted by a pushy male nail tech. I made my selection and he kept pushing other services and packages on me. I had to decline several times and after two times it becomes not relaxing anymore. He proceeded to tell me my nails needed their cuticles cut back and said he would do it so I okay that and upon doing that he cut me causing me to bleed. Not a relaxing wonderful experience I went in expecting. No desire to return. I also am not a fan having males do any kind of pampering when I go to a spa like place to relax and unwind! read more

The man that works at the nail salon was very creepy, made unwanted advances at me and my cousin while we were having our nails done, the ladies doing our nails also felt uncomfortable and kept telling him to go away and he kept coming back and asking why we didn't have boyfriends and to go out with us, we are both college students and this man had to be in his 40's.
