I had been nail bar hopping for the last several years and actually stopped getting manicures although every now and then I would have a pedicure done here and there. My friends were encouraging me to get a gel manicure so when a special came up on social media, I decided to try M3V and I am ever so grateful. It is not only stylishly decorated but it has a relaxing, homey atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly and upbeat. I hesitate to share the name of my nail technician, David, because I want to be sure he always has time to fit me in for an appointment. The solution is to book ahead so let me tell you that I have never had a better pedicure or manicure. My tootsies are grateful and I get compliments on my nails. First timer and I loved it! My nail techs were so awesome and super friendly. I had Deedra and Marlin (hopefully I spelled their names correctly). My hands and feet feel and look so beautiful and the option to have some wine was great! Unfortunately my sisters tech wasn't as friendly and finished her pedi and mani extremely quick (seemed pissed off to be there and more interested in doing her own nails) So she waited 30 minutes for me.. which to me was disappointing since I was treating her for graduation. This place is great. Went for the first time ever for a pedicure and being a guy was a little uncertain on what to expect. WOW I was surprised. They meet you like family at the door, make you very comfortable. They explain everything to you and do not try to up sell you. I should have done this years ago. Guys you have to try this out. This is great, you can watch tv and have a beer while soaking your feet. My tech was Lorraine, she treated me like a long time customer. I left the place with a smile on my face and happy feet. A nice high-end nail salon with a bar... well sort of; they have a license to serve alcohol so you can enjoy a glass of wine, sangria or a beer during your services. I'd say one of the best features of this place is the lack of any chemical smells. Also, all the nail technicians I saw there were Americans; it may not seem like much but it's refreshing to actually have a clear conversation with the person doing your nails. They offer a glitter bar too for an additional fee; I thought this was a great option - us ladies love sparkles! The decor is very well done too, black and white with splashes of red. They are well equipped to handle larger parties; I think they had 10 pedi-stations in the main area where my party of 7 had services and my nail tech mentioned they had a room in the back with just 2 stations so if you wanted to have a private room with a friend or spouse they can do that too. For larger parties be sure to call ahead so they have time to schedule all the nail techs etc. They will organize some snack too if you plan ahead with them. It can get expensive quick; especially because the sangria's go down so easy so be careful about that... only 1 drink is included per service, I think the additional drinks cost between $5-$7 each. They also have some cute items for purchase like flip-flops and wine glasses. I'd like to try them again for a manicure; perhaps they'll be bumped to 5 stars - they are already close. Make sure you have a reservation. The receptionist was very rude when I just walked in for a pedicure. When I apologized and told her I didn't realize one was needed she was told me that they don't require them but that she didn't have any openings. She was hardly apparently apologetic. Fabulous salon! Went here for a mani pedi and was very impressed. It is so clean - all the files and buffers are new for each patron and you don't have to worry about getting an infection. They have all the latest OPI collections and they don't dilute the products or mask them like the other salons. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Tracy, was there and she is very nice and hands on. The salon itself is gorgeous and they have wine! They don't cut corners and only use the best products. I've been here 4 times. Great atmosphere, nice and relaxed and clean. Don't pay the extra for art work. First time I wanted simple daisies on my toes, she said she had never done them before, but she tried. She centered it on my big toe. Looked a like big dot, not artistic at all. I felt silly and had to paint over it This weekend I wanted the ombre or variegated look. My tech said it couldn't be done with regular polish (funny I've had it done successfully before), she said she has never done it before, so I told her to do something fun and beachy. She attempted to do the look anyway, looked like something my 10 yr old granddaughter could do. Again I had to repolish at home Great pedicure just not so great art work. read more

I have been debating on whether or not to leave a review but decided I should since it's obviously still on my mind. I visited this place for the first time a few months ago. The staff was nice, manicure was pretty good and pricing ok. The reason why I gave this place 3 stars instead of 4, is due to something the nail tech did. After my nails were soaked and lotion on, it was time to put my jewelry back on. As I reached for my watch and ring, the associate for some reason beat me too it and picked up my watch. I immediately stuck my hand out as I don't think it was a great idea for her to pick it up. I understand that she was trying to be nice but I was already moving my hands to pick it up myself. I don't think it is a great idea for them to have staff touch people's personal belongings. The counters are granite and if my watch would have slipped out of her hands, there would have definitely been a big issue. Since she did not pick up on me moving to grab my own items she definitely should have asked. I don't want people to be liable for my things and it shouldn't be something I should have to worry about. A suggestion would be for the associates to ask clients if they mind if they hand them their jewelry/items. Unfortunately I will not go back to this place because of this experience. read more

First off...WOW! I called at 5:30 to see if they had any availability for a Men's Pedicure. I was on hold for a brief moment, and was asked if I could come in at 5:45. I was excited they could get me in so quickly. I arrived at 5:45 and my technician was finishing up with another client. The owner offered to get me a drink. They offer a great selection of wines, beers, drinks, as well as non-alcoholic. I had a root beer (thrilling I know). Christine gave me one of, if not the best pedicure I have ever had. She was very friendly and explained the differences in the spa packages. I can't wait to go back the next time I am treating myself to a pedicure. I went in on Friday afternoon wanting to get a fill on my gel nails. The manager was super nice the nail tech was great... But this was a new technique that she was trying to explain to everybody how to do. It looked good but by Sunday it was crumbling. So I went back in on Tuesday morning, And I kept getting the story about how fabulous this tech was and how this never happens and they had never heard of this before and so they put me with another tech who did the same Technique... And by Thursday once again and I had nails crumbling and literally my nail is crumbling off my finger as I speak ( it has been less than a week and I've already had basically two sets of nails put on). I called and spoke to the owner who was extremely rude and kept telling me that technician is the best in the valley and knows all of the latest tracks and when I asked her why is it crumbling off of my fingers I was told that it was me. She said she would have her Manager called me at two when she Came into work, not for o'clock I was driving past so I stopped in to show them that actually my nail is crumbling off and again that there is something wrong with the technique that they are using to do gel nails and owner got really irritated with me and through $45 at me when my original bill was 70 including tax and told me to go find someplace else to get my nails done. I am from out of town but often come to the Desert Ridge area and am excited to fin the M3V Nail Bar! I sent an appointment request through Yelp and the owner got back to me almost immediately stating they were closed Mondays but had availability for Tuesday so I set it up for the first appointment. It is very clean and they have a liquor licence so serve wine and beer - how fun! since it was 9 am I settled for a coffee but it was very nice to be greeted warmly and given options for drinksl Elizabeth was my nail tech. She asked a lot of questions to confirm how long I wanted my nails, what shape, etc. She did an awesome job and I love the color and shape. She was also very friendly and nice to chat with so it made the time fly quickly. I will definitely come here the next time I am in town and may go back for a pedicure before leaving this trip. I have been to this nail salon several times now and I LOVE this place! My son lives in Alaska and every time he comes to visit he asks me to take him to M3V. The atmosphere is glamorous and relaxing, the drink selection is a nice touch, the nail techs are super friendly and all speak English. It's clean and upscale. You get what you pay for here. If I didn't mind the 30 min drive from my house I would be here much more often! Today my son and I both enjoyed mani-pedis from Lorena and Deidre(?) While initially Lorena was busy taking care of another client Deidre took care of both my son and I at the same time. When Lorena was able to take over and apologized for being late-she offered a free scrub to my son and took very good care of him. Both of us enjoyed an excellent service. We had a group of girls here for a Bachelorette Party this past weekend. I cant say enough how great it was. The owner was there to greet us, offer us a drink and even had snacks for us. She treated us like we were in her home and wanted us to be comfortable and have fun. The technicians were all lovely and we had such a great time. A mommy group I am a member of scheduled a "mom's night out" @ M3V. There were a couple of last minute cancellations due to sick kids (a natural occurrence when you have kids!). The owner of M3V failed to mention anything about a 24-hour cancellation policy. So our poor group organizer was forced to pay for three cancellations, in addition to her service. The manager told our group organizer that this is not the first time the owner has not explained the 24-hour cancellation policy but has still charged people. It's unfortunate that a new business owner is misleading and takes advantage financially of people. read more
