I brought in my 2022 F350 looking for a Korean Era Camouflage paint job for the truck. As luck would have it, there was a painter there who has done this type of work before. We settled on the details of the work. I want nothing shiny, just all flat drab colors. A true military style of camo. Well, this morning they called me to tell me it's ready to go. I was floored when I got there. It was exactly what I was looking for! 3 shades, green, tan and black. The pattern wrapped around the corners and edges to help to break up the outline. Everything is a flat matte finish, even the sealant used to protect the paint was a flat finish, no gloss or shine. They also did an excellent job on the logos and decals getting them covered and the chrome?? None to be seen, perfect! While I was looking it over another driver was loading up his trailer with a car. He told me he has come here all the way from Grants Pass three times because they have the best quality and prices compared to his area. I'm really grateful for the crew at Maaco and the time they took to do an unusual job request. To me this job is one I have been wanting for years. I called for an estimate for some spot painting on my car. Some clear coat was fading due to sun exposure on the hood and roof. I communicated with a salesman. He asked for pics, which I sent along with specs, info, etc. Kept waiting for the guy to get back to me with an estimate. Two weeks went by. I emailed him a few times. He finally got back to me saying they were super busy. Okay....So I waited for him to provide the estimate. I waited another week. Nothing. I emailed him again. No response. That was enough waiting. I called to speak with him. He was at lunch. I told the guy on the phone why I was calling and that the customer service was very poor. I told him I'd be taking my business elsewhere. He said he was sorry that happened. They don't seem all that eager to secure customers or treat them well. read more

This is the second time I have used Maaco in Eugene. Each time I have received the best paint service. Being from Southern California paint shops are competitive and you learn what great professionalism means. The staff is great. And lastly, living in salty Costal Southern Oregon the prices are high... very high. I was quoted from $6500 to over $8000 for my 2002 Ford Sport Trac. Keeping in mind the salt air, etc. having Maaco has been a lifesaver. My Maaco basic quote was $2800. With extras [$3,100] and gas from Gold Beach of about $200, totally about $3300. I had my 1994 Ford Ranger re-painted the same color. First off, do your homework before going to Maaco. Prep work is really very labor intensive. The paint? Most all body shops in Eugene get their paint from Industrial Finishes in Eugene, and while there are paint grades, don't get fooled by a unique or franchise brand paint quality. I paid extra for Maaco to remove and reset certain items because based on prior experience, I know they should be removed and reset. For example, if you mask lock cylinders peeling may occur after a few years. The same applies to wheel flares, chrome emblems, and other items. If you want your car paint job to last, certain items really need to be removed and reset as opposed to the cheap way...masking stuff. You got a small dent? Do you want a monkey to just fill it with bondo, sand and paint it? Or do you want the dent to be pulled out first, then filled, sanded and repainted? The latter will cost more. It may be advantageous to ask another auto painter, probably a body shop what they would charge to repaint your car. Ask them what they would remove and reset instead of masking to get an idea of what should be done and what you're comfortable with. Speaking of auto body shops, a lot of them won't even consider re-painting your car unless insurance is involved. What does that tell you? With that said, Maaco did a good job. I specifically asked for certain items to be removed and reset instead of masking. I chose the paint grade. They wrote everything they would do per my request in the estimate. There was one very small area that needed touch-up and they did it without any hassle. read more

After meeting and talking to the new Manager RYAN RATTAN I decided to have them fix the dents, and paint my Subaru, savings me well over $1000. The final results SURPASSED my expectations! SO! I completely forgot that I was going to write a re-review of this place after I got my car back. Well here it goes. Screw Maaco. When I put my car in the shop to get it painted, I paid extra cash to have the door jambs/hatch painted red. That way when you opened the door/hatch you didn't see a white lining. They painted the door jambs, but not the hatch. Whereas I was told it would be included, they pulled a big ol' F*** You and told me that was NOT included. To top it off, they got paint on my carpet, steering wheel, and door. I was never able to get it off any of the surfaces. The crease they fixed on my front fender "magically" reappeared about 3 months down the road. I sold my Acura about 2 months ago or I would show the shit job they did with pics. The kid who bought the car even said, "What's up with this paint job?" Luckily he wanted to paint it a different color himself, or I would've never been able to sell it. again, Screw Maaco. read more

This franchise came highly recommended by someone I trusted. I had heard of poor success with Maaco, in general, but I know that franchises can vary widely, so I went online and made an appointment. My van had lost some paint on the hood due to paint failure, not collision and I wanted adequate repainting. This is an older vehicle so I was not expecting show room perfection. However, I did expect to be treated with respect and professional concern. I showed up early for my appointment to discover that I was unexpected. This franchise does not pay any attention to the online appointment system, it turns out. I waited more than half an hour to talk to someone. When it was my turn, we spent about 20 seconds looking at the van and discussing (grand word, considering virtually no information was given me) what was needed. My questions were dismissed more than answered. After the very rushed interview, I was told that I would receive a bid in the email. After 2 days I did receive an email. It was from corporate informing me that they were sorry I missed my appointment. I have not heard anything from the franchise on Railroad Blvd in Eugene. Subsequently, I went to another paint shop. There, my questions were answered, the information put into a computer, and a bid produced on the spot. That was more in accordance to my expectations. Needless to say, Maaco will not get my business. I would not encourage anyone else to waste their time there. It seems they are not interested in new business. read more

I'll spare you the details, they did a crappy job. The part that bothers me is a headlight they put in leaks, a odd puncture in my window seal leaks into the cab badly and my ac doesn't work anymore. I had to take it back because they forgot to paint the bed, and they still forgot to paint several parts or do the work on a dent I paid for. My truck was repainted by these guy we paid extra to have the tailgate and hood fixed also. We picked it up and noticed the tailgate was already cracked through. Ask why that wasn't fixed he said drive it a few weeks before bringing it back just incase any other problems arise. Mind you we traveled an hour and a half one way every trip. Called the to get it fixed they had us bring it In the called and says its going to cost 300$+ to fix something that was paid for and was told that it's in fine print once you leave the shop they dont cover it....... we wanted it fixed that day there guy said too wait... im so upset we have 3 other cars to have painted soon and the just lost a return customer. read more

I am not happy with their service. They turned away the insurance adjuster by mistake, so it took way longer to get my car done. Then they said they'll take a look at a couple other items with my car but never mentioned it again. Finally, the driver's door edge was really rough and cold scratch you! I stopped by and they said they could sand it down 2 minutes easy. Hey sanded it down and it looked horrible. Then the guy said he doesn't know how to polish and there's another guy who polishes, should be only 15-20 minutes, bring it in anytime this week". Kind of a mediocre place. I scheduled an appointment to show up and sit in their waiting room for a half hour. No one spoke to me and after 30 min after I was supposed to talk to someone about a quote for the appointment I scheduled in advance. I left. Find a local shop screw maaco. I just got my car back, and it looks like new - they did a great job. I was a little worried that Maaco wouldn't do as good a job as the other autobody shops that quoted me higher, but they did a wonderful job. This place was much cheaper than everyone else for the simple reason that since they are a franchise they can get paint for a lot cheaper than everyone else. We took our motorcycle in to get painted, that was it just painted, when we picked the bike up there was runs in the paint bubbles not a professional paint job at all. When we addressed the problems we were told what do you expect for 600.00. Really what do I expect, a nice paint job maybe no runs. I loved the fact that Craig was straight up with me from the beginning saying, "We take pride in our work, but we're not the place to go if you're looking for showroom quality". I wasn't looking for showroom quality, rather just a fresh coat of paint for my vehicle. He showed me a range of jobs that they had done, and even pointed out the minor overspray flaws that his guys had done. He told me that these were rare, but in the price range I was looking at, occur from time to time. Loved the honesty. He worked with me on getting the price to fit my budget, and the end result was AWESOME. Yes, there were a few minor instances of overspray, but you can only find them if you are combing over the vehicle searching for that kind of thing. promptly fixed my prius c perfectly for a fair price.....

First off, we researched places around Springfield first, then Eugene for a place to do a complete paint job on a 1984 Chevy S-10 pickup. Why, you say? Well, because we own it and do not want car payments! No one else around town would do it except for Maaco. We had an awesome experience! Craig was up front and honest saying that if we wanted a "custom car" paint job, they weren't really the place to go. Well, it's an '84 S-10, so we were on our way. He walked us around the shop showing us other jobs and explaining the process. Then he took us to the board in their office (very creative-easy-to-understand) and explained the different paint jobs as well as how we could get the special, which we did. We also had them do some extra work like paint the door jambs, mirrors, bumper and grill etc. They coordinated with a glass company to come out and replace the rear slider window and a bedliner company to show them how far to paint so not to interfere with the bedliner we were having done. We even at the last minute decided to do a really cool pin-striping down the side and that only cost us an extra $35!!!!! WOW, when we picked it up, were we surprised. There were NO other incurred costs and we even noticed they did some extra work that was not on the original quote!!!! WHO DOES THAT??? Well, MAACO does and we highly recommend them. Hey, paying a couple grand for a paint job (which looks AMAZING) is way better than car payments for 5 years :-) Way to go MAACO!!!!! We bought a used 2006 Prius from a local car dealership. As part of the 'deal' my Prius was to have it's rear bumper replaced, headlights resurfaced and new wheel covers. We took the car to Maaco and they completed all the work promptly and efficiently. The car looks great. Plus, they went through and covered some of the scratches at no extra charge to us and they had it done a day early. Communication between us and Maaco was fantastic. To start off, Maaco is the absolute best!! They went above and beyond to help my friend and I these past few weeks after I had crashed the car near Portland Airport. The amazing customer care started off in Portland where they took us in and not only looked at the car in depth, but also helped find nearby shops to care for the car mechanically and cosmetically. Both the Portland location and this Eugene location quickly got in touch with one another and helped us every step of the way. In the same day, we went from Portland and were on our way to the Eugene location to officially get started on the cosmetic aspects of the car. The day was already coming to an end, but Jacob knew exactly what was going on and even stayed late just to take us in and make sure we at least had a solid estimate of the repairs. You can say that this first impression was already extremely impressive! I felt so comforted to know that someone was willing to keep the shop open to make sure the car was looked at. At what felt like the worst time of my life, Maaco helped me feel like they were going to do everything to take care of the situation. It's crazy how a simple crash can make you feel like everything is going wrong. The employees, whether it was at the front desk, on the phone or everything in between, I felt at ease because they assured me they understood what I was feeling. It was also reassuring that they wanted to help us as fast as they could. (And they really did! The car was fixed within one week!) Paying out of pocket, (and being a college student,) Jacob and the rest of the Maaco team made sure to find as much discounts as they could for us and the estimates they configured were fairly accurate from the get go. Jacob made lots of jokes to keep the mood light yet he also made sure we felt taken care of. I hope I never have to experience car issues as such again, but I'm so glad Maaco made it such a pleasant and minimally stress-free situation. Seeing the car fully repaired, I couldn't even believe I had crashed it just a few weeks prior. My friends and I were nearly laughing because of how great it looked!
