I had a pretty big scratch on my car and was looking around they Ann Arbor area for a collision shop, however they were all booked for the next three months. I called Maaco and they were able to give me an estimate the day of, took the car on Tuesday, and was finished by Monday, which I thought was incredibly quick. The quality of their work is evident in the pictures: basically as close to perfect as you can get. They also cleaned the interior of my car, which I've never experienced at any other body shop, so was pleasantly surprised! The staff (primarily worked with Joe) was incredibly helpful and super accommodating. I highly recommend this place and, if I ever need to visit a body shop in the future, will definitely come back to this location. read more

I'm so glad I chose this Maaco to paint my vehicle. When I purchased my SUV it didn't have the best paint job...thanks to whoever thought they could paint a vehicle. LOL! So I lived with it until someone hit me in the rear. Uh-Oh! Had to get Maaco! I researched reviews, got recommendations from friends who had work done here. First and foremost they were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Joe gave me a great price & great advice. I made a appointment, dropped my vehicle off...they even made sure I had a ride back home. My vehicle was beautifully painted, shiny & washed when I picked it up. It looks like a new car. WOW! Joe & Tim was very professional as well as being very knowledgeable about the services they perform. They even buffed & smoothed out a couple of little chips that was on the door and didn't charge me...talk about fantastic customer service. Yay! I needed both bumper covers repainted and put a dislodged parking sensor back in. The dealership quoted over $4000, an independent collision shop quoted $3000. Maaco got it done for less than $1000. They did an amazing job and got it completed well before the estimated time. Joe kept me updated throughout and he is a genuinely kind, professional and compassionate person. They even gave me a ride back to my apartment while my car was being repaired. Tim, Joe and everyone there was genuine, kind, hardworking and salt of the earth kind of people. I bought the most expensive package for a key scrape on both front and rear door from an incident when my niece drove my car. I received my car back and when taking it for an oil changed I was asked who painted my car because they did a bad job, did not wet sand it. He showed me the swirl marks in the paint, there is a hand/finger prints, and the edges of the doors are rough. I took it back to show them, they apologized and asked that I bring it back to fix! It's been a year, I work every day. I was without my car for several days. I do not have time for the inconvenience! And all they could offer was an apology. Maaco's are all independently owned, whatever stigma you have about Maaco let it go when it comes to this shop. Joe and Tim are really good guys who don't BS, they're not salesman they are honest about what you can expect and the work that needs to be done. That being said they went well above and beyond my expectations, I brought in a 25 year old truck with destroyed paint and lots of issues with the body and the thing looks amazing now....at a fraction of the price other places quoted me. Everyone told me don't go to Maaco but they were all wrong and my truck looks great. I'm taking another project there as soon as I have the time to get around to it and a lot of people who have seen my truck also plan to go to them. read more

Paid good money to repair small bubble rust near gas cap six weeks later rust came back The purpose of the repair was I thought they would sand the rust down, prime it and paint it I shouldn't have to come back every few months for repair work. Tim, Joe and Bryan are an amazing crew. They strive to have customers satisfied and happy. I have had them take care of at least 3 of our vehicles, two of these required carefully-done jobs, to satisfy passing the end of lease inspections. Another job dealt with a challenging Chrysler 300 (body & mechanical) accident repair. They took care of it all! Not only that, but they are fairly accommodating; I have witnessed, first-hand, how they dealt with hard-to-satisfy customers.
