Could you get worse service anywhere else??? The staff take weeks to get back to you for status on your vehicle and charge you through the roof. Then insult repeat customers by not standing behind their work. Don't waste your time with this shop!!!! They'll nickel and dime you for every little bit of work and then charge you more if you have to bring it back because their original job went bad!!! All the girls in the office definitely make the atmosphere welcoming, especially when I brought my girlfriend and our baby, everyone treated us with the most respect! I recently took my car to this location and they did a very poor job on my car along with poor customer service to their customers. When I was contacted to pickup my car, they did not do a full "QC" (Quality Check) on my car. They left mask tape on one of my fog headlights until I pointed it out to them. They also left paint marks on the inside of my car which, my inside car interior is super clean. You can literally see all the paint marks left on the inside car which was the door handles, steering wheels, and the dash board. My front headlights and back tail lights were all scratch up from them masking the car with tape and them sanding the trunk and front hood down. They even fail to fix the two tiny dents they they quoted us at $75 total. The employee (Candice), did not want to deal with us after we made a complaint. She left the scene and told us that we would have to talk to the owner. The owner showed up a few minutes later. When we address and pointed to him about the scratches on the front and back lights, the paint marks left on the inside of the car, the dents that were not fixed, and the mask tape that they didn't take off of the fog lights, he gave us an attitude stating that they are not a detail shop and they will detail the car for us. The only thing he can do is to try and wipe down the front and back lights to the best that they can. Things got really ugly as we told him that we understand they are not a detail shop, but at least show your customers that you at least appreciate their business, and wipe down all the paint marks they left on the inside of the car. We even told him that his employee that check us in at the time we drop off our car even wrote in big "BOLD" letter that our inside car interior was super clean and he can see it on the paper he was holding. So, the owner left mad and pissed off with and attitude that they will have the car ready the next day. After we pickup the car the next day, we didn't see anything else that was wrong on the paint job that they did. They only wipe down some areas inside the car which you can still see some paint which I did not want to deal with it anymore so we paid and left. The next day after picking up the car, we noticed that there was a deep crack on top of the passenger back door about 2 1/2 inches and another crack about 1 inch to the left. We quickly contacted them and told them that we wanted to bring the car back for them to look at the deep crack because we want to avoid the paint peeling off again in the future. Their answer to us was...."THE CRACK IS NOT FROM THE PAINT JOB!!!" They stated that the crack was from an old damage to the metal panel and that we would get charge to get it fix if we wanted them to fix the metal panel and do a repaint in that area. This is the worst place ever. Don't ever bring your car into this Maaco location to get your car repainted or for any auto body damage repaint job. They will screw up your car and take no responsibility to the damage they put on your car!!!! I have many, many regrets that I have taken my car into this shop for the repaint job. Please go to another shop! "DO NOT USE THIS MAACO LOCATION"! I REPEAT.."DO NOT USE THIS MAACO LOCATION" because you will regret like I did. I've learned my lesson! read more

WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE OR SEND ANYONE THERE AGAIN!!! Took our suv there to get the bumper fixed. After three attempts to get the correct part, the quote change three times. They had my car over a week, and promises that we will be taken care of because they have had our car for so long. I had to call to get the update because it was not done when they said it would be. Get a call that it will be done by 1. We rearrange everyone's schedules to pick up the car only to get a call that another car was put in front of ours and to pick up at 2 and then 4:30! Horrible! Just had my car repaired after smashing the taillight & rear bumper. Not covered by insurance so I got three quotes. Chose Maaco in Marietta to do the work. Got the car back & you can't tell that it had ever been damaged. Charged the estimated amount (almost $1,000. less than another large chain & $2,000. less than a highly rated independent), & the work was done exactly on time. this place should not be aloud to paint cars! they did such an awful job on my suburban. we had to bring it back multiple times to paint spots they missed, to remove over spray, and to put pieces back on correctly and it still looks awful. do not get your car painted here! it was the biggest mistake and waste of money, and now i will have to pay an actual car paint shop to fix their awful work. read more

This place is pretty crappy, they seem nice in the beginning but not really. They're just trying to get paid and then that's it. I had a bumper scratched and was told that I had to go here because it was taking forever to get to the place I wanted to go to. After the paint job the color was not the same as the whole car. I asked about it and the dude was like yeah, its like that and all the B.S. I just had a lot of things going on and didn't have time to deal with it. I hate when its not my fault and then I have to invest my time. I don't have time ! The job was horrible and was just lied too. I don't complain a lot and get tired of BS so I rather just come here and leave reviews. They aren't going to do much about it but make up excuses and waste my time. Don't go here ! read more

I recently had my old 1964 truck repainted by Maaco on Sunrise. I have never used Maaco before but a friend told me about how good they were on old and antique cars/trucks. I went to Kara and she gave me a great deal, along with a phenomenal paint job and it was all backed by her company's guarantee. Kara and her team did an outstanding job in getting this truck repainted. Great attention to detail. Extremely friendly. Very competitive prices. Excellent communications throughout the transaction. Kara made several recommendations on paint types and textures. Most importantly, she honored her word for timeliness and dependability. In fact, a small mistake happened during the spraying phase. She called me, told me not to worry and that her company was already fixing it. Maaco has gained my trust, my continued business and my recommendation to friends and family who are in need of similar car detailing. read more

Took my 1966 Mustang in to Maaco to get it repainted. It's an all original car I bought off the original owner that had been garage stored its whole life. Car had a poor paint job done sometime in its life and was faded with several door dings so I took it to Maaco to get a complete respray. After about 5 months and $5,000 later I finally get the car back. First thing Andy tells me is that they ran it out of gas and that the battery's dead. Cool. I drove it to the closest gas station to fill up and it completely wont start. Can't jump it, bump start it, anything etc. Had to get it towed home. After $500 in repairs I get it home and I notice theres a scratch in the paint by the gas cap, the driver door wont open and close properly, there was sandpaper hanging down that had been painted to the underside of the car, a huge paint chip under the hood, overspray on my tires, parts underneath the car where they just painted over dirt, and several dings in the paint from the walnut tree they parked it under among other small defects. I had to take it back twice to get it fixed which is fine except now I notice all over the car the paint is starting to bubble. Everywhere. I take it back a third time and they wont touch it. They say its rust and that I didn't pay them to fix rust. Andy said they would scrape a little bit off to confirm it but they didn't. I know it was a rust free car, I would have had them fix it if it was rusty and they didn't even offer it originally! (because it had no rust) I show them my original insurance appraisal of the car stating it was a completely rust free car and they don't care. The car had been sitting in their lot completely stripped of paint for months and I know thats what caused it but they wont take any credit. So, for my $5,000, I essentially got a $500 repair bill and a car that now needs a complete respray and tons of rust repair. Thanks Maaco. Update: After washing and waxing the car ive noticed 4 different places where they've managed to paint hairs on to the car. Now that it's hot out the car is starting to get little bubbles that are popping up throughout the entire paintwork to the point that running your hand over the car is like trying to read Braille. I'm just so constantly disappointed and frustrated with his paint job. read more

I just want to post a heads up for my satisfaction with Maaco in Rancho Cordova. I have a pickup truck with a utility shell and lumber rack that were showing their age in a big way. I had several bids to repaint that were more than I paid to buy them new. Maaco by a chunk was the best bid for their second best painting option, and they delivered a much better job than I expected. Kudos to Frank and his apprentice Christian for their help removing and replacing the units for the paint job. They were proud of how well the job turned out, and that's the way it should be. read more

I took my car to get painted at MAACO. After a closer review of the painted job, I noticed areas that was missed and some white spots. I rescheduled a second appointment to fix the flaws and pointed them out. MAACO called a few days later and advised my car was ready. I inquired if all area flaws were resolved and I was advised they were not. I was informed that MAACO does not have an air tight facility to paint cars and as a result, oil, or items in air can get on car and flaws can happen. I was also told they can only fix so many panels. I asked to speak to manager and was shocked I was talking to manager! They refused to fix all flaws in my car. I am very dissatisfied. Lesson learned: If you want a half job, take it to MAACO. Now I have to take my car to new vendor and make it right. Money spent at MAACO is lost! Please don't do the same! read more

5 Stars just isn't enough for these great people who work here. Gary is absolutely stellar and went above and beyond for me and my situation. I came in there no appointment, absolutely devastated as someone decided to hit my car in the parking lot and not leave a note. I just purchased my car under a month ago, so you can understand my extra added horror. Gary received me with a welcoming smile a quick estimation and before I knew it my keys were in his hands and off I went. The following day as I was getting ready for work I realized I had left my tie in my car. I popped in unannounced stressed and frazzled for work and again they went above and beyond and out of their way to search for my tie with my car up on the racks. Fast forward another two days and I was very happy to receive a phone call from Jacob letting me know my car was ready for pickup. Upon arrival it was as if it never happened my car look fantastic they even washed it for me. I cannot recommend them enough I was completely reassured through the entire process everything was explained to me very clearly even down to the broken parts laid out and displayed for me to examine great people and I will do business again with them anytime!!!! read more

I took my 1995 Toyota T-100 that I just purchased to Maaco in Rancho Cordova for a paint job. It had one fender that was just black primer and many, many scratches. This truck is red and had terrible fading. At first I was just going to get the fender painted, but decided to paint the whole truck. They gave me a great price and explained every step they were going to take in the process. I was on a tight budget, so I went for their 1/2 price economy deal. The day after I brought it in I got a call saying that the scratches in the paint were very deep and would not come out with their normal sanding. I told them to go ahead and do a better job of sanding the whole vehicle. This was a additional charge of 89 bucks, but well worth it. Bottom line is that for under 500.00, I got a truck that was embarrassing to have in the driveway painted. Now it looks great, and I am very happy with their work. I was treated with respect and honesty by Andy and Gary. They did what they said they would, delivered on time, and made it a painless experience. Yes, there was a little overspray here and there, but it wiped right off. The truck looks great in the driveway now. A nice shiny new red paint job makes the truck look almost new. DO NOT WASTE TIME. I thought it was great work on the new paint job and body work until I really looked at it. The people were very nice, but it stops there. I have FINGER PRINTS embedded in the new paint. There are countless imperfections in the paint. What infuriated me was after walking around the car and circling with a marker the dents that needed to be removed THEY ARE STILL THERE. I cannot believe they returned my car to me this way. I should have looked more closely, but what happened to trusting someone to do their job they were paid for? Lost faith in MAACO and will urge everyone to avoid another story like mine. read more

I dropped my car off for a $866 full body paint job and it took 3 days. On the 2nd day at this particular Maaco I received a voicemail saying that while they were spraying dirt from the inside of the door jams, my tint on the driver's side window had ripped off. I called back to find out more details on the issue and they said it ripped about 6 inches. I get the car back today 7/1/11 and the tint is ripped about 6x3inches. Before paying I wanted them to fix the tint because the accident happened while in their care. The disgruntled, shop-owner's son Kyle called their tint guy they know and he said it would be about $30 for one window. They repeatedly told me it is not their responsibility for any problems the car has and it was not their fault. I beg to differ! They told me they would agree to pay for half ($15) if I brought them back a quote for the tint on one window. I spoke with the owner Gary who is an incredibly rude business owner and he did not want to give me anything for the repair. After 30 minutes of arguing, he agreed to give me the ($30) for the repair and it was out of "good will." I am dissatisfied with this particular Maaco, they put the name of the company down. No wonder nobody likes Maaco. If I were to do it all over again I would have looked on here for a review of the business before going to this location. Stay away. Had 2 bumpers painted on my wife's van. One off the car another on. When I went to pick up the van it was filthy. Got home and found it was covered in dust and some gook they sprayed on it to keep overspray off. Van was in back lot and couldn't really see how well the work was. When I called the next day to say front bumper was bad and about gook on car they said it would just wash off. Anyway brought van back to Maaco and was told they would buff front bumper(I figured it needed respraying) and cakk me by noon. By 2:30 I called and was told they would respray bumper next day and I could pick it up then. By 4:30 the next day still no phone call. I called and was told it was ready. Came in the next morning and you could tell they partially buffed front bumper. Had it hand buffed in areas and called it quits and took it home. When home I power buffed entire front bumper. Now lt looks decent. Another sad note, wife agian bumped front bumper and paint flaked off. STAY AWAY. read more

07/15/14..... i was blown away by maaco-rancho cordova. my 2002 dodge dakota sport pick up truck, was in need of some paint repair, the hood, side panel and roof were peeling with oxcidation problems, my free estimate was done by theresa and kara......i was leaning towards just re-painting the damaged areas, they recomended re-painting the whole truck with there acrylic enamel uv paint for an extremely low cost,& a 2 yr warantee. computer savy i read so many maaco reviews saying you get what you pay for....actually the reviews were mixed and i did not know what to expect but i love my truck a lot and wished i could give it the best paint ever, and sure enough to my surprise they did a really good fantastic paint job (no oversprays, no streaks, no problems what so ever) I was truly blown away by the job they did and they were all so nice... (naturally) but i could see.. they also were very proud of the work they did, the neat thing is though, the truck looked truly fantastic.....I knew it and so did they.........thumbs up for THERESA..KARA....and the whole crew (still wonder who the painter was) at maaco-RANCHO CORDOVA.................. read more
