We just had the hood and top of our 4Runner painted, due to oxidation. On initial inspection, it looked great! HOWEVER, a walk around the vehicle revealed two dings in the rear driver's side panel!! They were fresh (still had loose paint particles attached). They did NOT bring the dents to our attention - we had to tell the guy who was checking us out. We were offered a $100 discount!! Imagine bringing your car to a shop for cosmetic work and having them create more cosmetic problems! We had too much going on to make an issue, and the vehicle is almost 15 years old, so we just asked him to buff them out. The largest one buffed out nicely, but there's still a soft indention. The smaller one actually took off paint, so not much could be done with it. Overall, the car looks a lot better. At least their dents were in an area where we already had a little ding. On leaving, my husband noticed that his change collection of roughly $10-15 had been removed from the center console, with the exception of one penny, which I guess they forgot. Seems somebody thought they deserved a tip. I know it was our fault for leaving it there, but it's too bad... read more

Brought my 2003 white Subaru here to get a fresh coat of paint. After looking at the various prices, I chose the Urethane level at $599. But don't get fooled by the low prices, these prices don't include labor so you can double the price! Within a week, I picked up my Subaru and it was shiny white, the scruff marks were all gone, and I was reminded that the warranty was for 3 years against fading & peeling! We just had our 2008 GMC painted by Macao. After getting many estimates they were the cheapest as everyone else wanted almost more than the car was worth. We had several spots of bare metal showing and just many years of wear on the paint. We figured for the price how ever it turned out was better than what it looked like now. Well to our surprise it looks like a brand new car. There was no overspray, or drips and even the bare metal spot were undetectable. We were very pleased and happy with the final product. It was done when they said it would be and they were very friendly and professional to deal with. We would highly recommend them for any paint job and would use them again if needed. I took my truck here and got the five year warranty paint job. I should have taken the time to write this review then. What a mistake that was. Over spray was everywhere. Lights, all trim & moldings, bed liner, springs, shocks, frame rails, fuel lines, etc etc. They painted my electric AMP side steps and even got white paint on my interior! I had a deadline to be elsewhere so had to bring the truck back to get it fixed. Three years later the paint is flaking off near every piece of trim, fender wells, bumpers around the doors and much more. They are so horrid I won't go back there regardless the warranty. Whenever MAACO comes up I now tell people to run for their lives. Now I am off to get quotes and spending real money at a real shop. It will cost more than the $2500 I paid for this crappy paint job just to fix the damage they did. read more

I car was keyed I dropped my car off with them on Tuesday and was advised that they would be done Saturday at the latest. When I called to see if my car was done that hadn't even started my vehicle and kept till the next Friday when I went to pick up my vehicle my car wouldn't start due them moving it allowing my instalock to lock .e out of my vehicle offered no remedy to fix the situation and I was left with out a car for entire two weeks over a buffing and clear coat. Absolutely the worse servie I have ever had. read more

Sent here to have a wiper motor and wiper replaced after it got ripped off at a car wash. Mechanic said there was an electrical issue and they don't do electrical so they wouldn't be able to fix it and I'd have to take it elsewhere. Of course they still charged the car wash over SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS to not complete the job. They gave me a disorganized box with random parts and trash for the wiper and motor back. For even more fun now both my wiper motor and rear power window didn't work, both were working fine before I even brought it in. Upon 5 minutes of looking at online forums with similar issues, I called back and had to instruct them on what to do and look for and that I was 99% certain the mechanic did it wrong and that the electrical was not to blame. Sure enough I was right and the mechanic was again wrong. How is this possible? I'm not even a professional and know very little about cars but found the answer in 5 minutes looking online, and being patient and thinking about it for a minute. Upon trying to re-assemble, there were vital screws missing. Sure, they probably weren't included from the parts order, but again, the mechanic and or management didn't use attention to detail to begin with to be sure all parts were there for the job, the first step in any 101 mechanics class you take is to make sure you have ALL the right parts for the job. Measure twice, cut once. More waiting, more driving back and forth to the shop. Finally got the parts in. Drove back out there. Mechanic was rude and strange again but screwed everything together. Took a look at it after I left and noticed it wasn't complete. Was missing another piece. An obvious and blatant piece. Drove again back to the shop to show them. Again, they had to order it. More time I have to drive back and forth to the shop, and again, lack of attention to detail by both the mechanic and the management that employs him. Came back to get the final piece installed. Mechanic charged into the room and literally threw the part in the woman's face who works up front and sarcastically says, "NOT EVEN CLOSE!", then walks off. Right in front of me and other customers in the same room. How rude and how incredibly embarrassing. I went over to her desk. The part wasn't even taken out of the plastic bag so I don't see how he could even see it was the wrong part. Looked EXACTLY like the right part to me. She and I checked it against the wiper assembly and of course, it was the right part. Again, the mechanic is wrong and looks like an idiot with a terrible attitude and complete lack of service personality or mechanic skills. I made it a point to tell two of the women in the office right then and there that this guy has been weird and rude each time I have come in, has no attention to detail, and a bad attitude, and is part of the reason I've had to come back 4 times for a really simple install. I said if I was management or owner that guy would be fired right then and there. No apology and nothing was said how that situation would be remedied. It was kind of just brushed off. The mechanic's name is Jim. He is extremely rude, pushy, pompous, and has an attitude that he knows best. Clearly however he is a poor mechanic and misses the most important traits you could have as a good mechanic: patience and attention to detail. I can't even IMAGINE this guy doing something complicated with an engine, transmission, or other complicated system, the things he would miss or screw up, and that's only if the customer caught him or knew better, which most won't. If I owned this company this guy would be immediately fired and I'd be looking at a lot of other factors for rehaul and improvement. I will never go back to Maaco under any circumstances, not just because of him, but because management and ownership clearly has poor judgement if that's the sort of person they would hire and that's the sort of behavior they would regularly be ok with. Thankfully I didn't pay for the work being done here, which however brings in another issue. They ripped the car wash off and charged double if not triple what anyone else would charge for both labor and parts. I called around and other shops couldn't believe that's what was on the bill and thought the company was clearly taking advantage of the car wash and probably the majority of its customers if this is their standard practice. I'd be ashamed if I was the owner, but from what I gather, he's semi or fully retired so doesn't seem to oversee much personally anymore. On a good note, the ladies at the front were very friendly, but let's face it, in the auto service industry it's about service and performance, which despite friendliness, was an ultimate failure and total embarrassment. read more

On 9/23/19, I brought my car to the Maaco at: 3095 Sunrise Bl. Rancho Cordova, CA. before the warranty expired to have it re painted, because it was starting to oxidize in certain areas. A guy that said he was one of the owners helped me, and told me that they changed ownership since my car was originally painted, and that since it was almost at the end of my warranty, I would have to pay half the cost to have my car re painted. I informed him that I was not told that I had to pay a pro rated amount for warranty work, when I first had my car painted. He showed me a copy of the details of the warranty. We negotiated an amount which was $300. I made a reservation to bring my car in the following Monday. I asked if it could be done by Wednesday, because I had to rent a car while the work was being done, and I asked him to try and get it done as soon as he can. He said it could take 3-5 days. He said he will try and have it done by Wednesday, and will give me a call when it was done. The next day which was Tuesday, He gave me a call and informed me that the areas near the sunroof had bondo that started cracking from previous work I had done, and the cracks was showing through the paint. He informed me that it would be additional work that need to be done, and that it would be an additional charge. I asked if they could just sand the area the best they could and paint over the areas. He said they will try and fill in the areas as best as they could with the paint while painting the car. The next day which was Wednesday, and by 3pm, I haven't heard anything. I called and He said my car was done. I got there and my car was completely covered in dust. I couldn't hardly see the paint job because it was so dusty. I asked Him why my car wasn't cleaned or detailed? He said it had been sitting out all day, and it got dirty from dirt from a nearby field. I looked at a van, and another car, which he said was his car, and they weren't dirty at all. When I asked him about it, he said his guys washed his car. I told him there was no wind blowing, and I don't believe that much dust which appeared to be dust from other cars that were sanded near mine, had accumulated on my car from the field in just a few hours. I told him this was unacceptable and I can't even see the paint job. He told me his guys had left. I told him he needs to do something, because I'm not accepting this. I also noticed my emblems haven't been put back on either. He got my emblems and put them on the car, and got a wet and a dry cloth and started wiping down my car. I got my cloth out of my car and started helping him wipe my car, so I can get it done and get out of there. There's a cover that's over the front part of my sunroof, where I noticed that some of the screws and brackets that attach and hold it in place we're missing. I told him about it, he looked but couldn't find them. He said he'd knock $50 off the bill. I found overspray in several areas, which he removed. I seen where it looked like some debris on the panel below the driver side door that appeared to have been mixed in the paint, or have attached to the car while drying. He said it looked like some chemical reactions. He said he'll take a total of $100 from the bill. After getting home and further cleaning and inspection of the car, I noticed other issues on my car, pictures posted. I called corporate to file a complaint and request a refund. After a month I received a call from one of the owners of the shop. After explaining the issues to him, he basically insulted me so I hung up. I finally got a call from corporate a month and a half later. I told her I wanted a refund of the $200 I paid because of the LOUSY DISRESPECTFUL way my car and myself were treated. She said the shop offered to re paint my car for half the cost, which was an INSULT to say the least. I said: NO WAY ARE THEY TOUCHING MY CAR AGAIN! Maaco DOES NOT! Stand behind their work, and I'll never have my car painted, and I will never ever recommend them. I'll post a more complete review on other sites that has no word restrictions. read more

This is the quality of work Maaco does...I didn't expect a show quality paint job but I never expected this...They did almost no prep, even though the work order specified light sanding, all they did was wipe it down with a green scotch pad, then they painted right over dirt, there are pin holes in their primer which was so thin the only way I knew they used primer was all the over spray, I had the glass removed after I dropped it of there and they failed to sand or prep around the opening so now the paint is already lifting about the rear window, there are numerous runs in the paint and bubbles do to lack of prep... I was told they would use a heavy primer that would fill any light imperfections, that was a blatant lie, I was also told there would be no warranty since I did some body work in a few spots, funny thing is they paint laid down fine there, the problem areas are on factory paint where there hasn't been any previous work... This was obviously way more than that shop could handle..I was told they can keep their prices low because of their technique and volume, that is a huge lie! They keep it cheap because they do almost no prep work and use extremely poor quality products....When there is so much dirt under the paint that pretty much tells the story... read more

So I used to send a lot of people to Maaco in Rancho Cordova on sunrise... their work was OK. Not that great. Don't get me wrong, they were better than earl there down the street(more expensive, too), but not great. This place was mostly for the people that just wanted paint on their car, and were not too picky with how the work came out. I saw many cars that fit this bill. One or two, however, did turn out pretty great. I read a lot of these reviews, and many of them mention the owner... specifically his attitude. There were days when I used to send customers there where I heard the same thing. Over and over. My experiences with the staff there were not different. And yet, for some reason, I still went there a month or so ago to see what they would charge to do a little paint work on my car. I went to walk in, saw him talking to a customer with a scowl on his face, and walked out. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews, then go elsewhere. read more

Well, Maaco changed hands about a year ago and it wasn't a change for the better. I have a 1930 Model A. It's a very simple car. A 14 year old could take it apart and reassemble it. I had a minor dented fender. They told me it should be replaced, so I got a new fender. They mounted it wrong and damaged the new fender. Then they thought they were doing me a favor by repainting it because they damaged it. They they told me I should have had them just repair the old fender. It was supposed to take one week. It took six weeks. It was still not mounted well so I remounted it myself. The paint did match, which was a high priority to me, but the quality of the painting wasn't as good as before. They shorted the wiring for my headlights. They broke the wiring to the horn. They put bolts back incorrectly. They rounded off some of my allen head chrome bolts by using the wrong size allen wrench. The owner, Scott, didn't seem to care a bit. The only one who seemed to care was a guy named Lance(?). I wouldn't take a wheel barrel there. What a bunch of clowns! read more

SHADY!!! I dropped my car off to do some minor cosmetic fixes ("minor" was Gary's word) and the repair took 2.5 days. Not sure why something so minor would take that long. At any rate, I ALWAYS set my trip meter to 0 whenever I take my car to a mechanic just because I'm paranoid like that. I got the car back with the trip meter reading 16.4m. I thought it odd that there would be so many added miles. I expect maybe one or 2 miles at the MOST because they would have to move my car etc, but 16.4?? I didn't think anything of it until later that night when I was coming home from the store my car would not start!!! It sounded testy starting when I was going to the store but I finally put 2 and 2 together and realized that they must have drained my battery while my car was there and in order to charge it up, they had to drive it around. My car is a 2007 and I've never had problems with it before. Never broke down, never had an accident, I park my car in the garage. Never had any problems til now. I called Gary and he denies that any one at the shop took my car out for a drive. Denies the battery was drained. Straight denied, didn't offer any explanation and then ASKED ME? for an explanation? Excuse me but the burden to explain what happened with my car while it was at YOUR shop isn't on me. They were terrible! Watch out for this place!! Take it somewhere else! read more

I had Maaco replace the rear bumper on my Dodge Ram pickup. I pointed out that I had air shock valve stems penetrating the bumper. They cut the air lines when they removed the bumper and just left them hanging. They left the truck undriveable because the air compressor for the air shocks ran continuously. I had to take the truck to a shop to make the truck drivable again. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MAACO!!! read more

We used this Maaco location before and we were pleased. So we took our next project car here ( which was towed in), and they did a TERRIBLE job. They were suppose to paint the engine compartment and trunk. We didn't notice until we got the car home. We then had to tow the car in again to have it finished. After picking it up a 2nd time, we noticed some other problems. Overall, I think they're talk of service and quality is bull. Maaco did a beautiful job giving my wife's Vibe a face lift with new color she absolutely loves. The staff were friendly and attentive, however....it took them forever to paint the car and they need to improve on letting their clients know when the car is ready. I was told on a Friday the car was painted and would be ready on the following Monday...it took until the next Friday to pick up. MAACO RC just communicate when you say you will and we'll understand the wait. All in all a great paint job though. read more

I took a fender in to be painted and wastold no problem doing a color match. I pocked it up a few days later and saw there were acouple flaws in the paint and when I brought this to there attention i was told to wet sand it out. Wtf... Anyway when i got the fender on my car it was not a color match at all. I called the shop and was told I would receive a call back. Three days later still no call back. I noticed on the paper work given to me in small print it stated customer is aware paint not be an exact match because car was not present. Thats complete BS, I was never told that. I would habe had no problem leaving the car with them. I used the Macco in the Arden area and they were great I figured this one would be too but boy was I wrong. read more

Highly recommended! I picked up my car this evening and was thoroughly impressed every step of the way with the Maaco Team. My mom had excellent service several months ago, as did my uncle a few months before, so I chose Maaco on their recommendation, even though I don't live anywhere near Rancho Cordova! At the start, I worked with Kara to find the right mix of paint/body work for my budget. She thoroughly and patiently explained the pros & cons of each option: paint quality, warranty, replacement parts: OEM vs. aftermarket options, etc. Then, I believe it was Gary, who took the effort to fully explain the key considerations on color. i was considering a switch from jet-black to metallic black. He showed me a couple of their recently painted cars and helped me to see the bigger picture. In the end, I saved more $ after understanding how it was jet-black that best fit what I needed. I could easily have been up-sold the metallic version but he helped me change my mind after his thorough explanation: (easier for me to cover dings in the future, etc.) I scheduled the work to be done when I needed to fly to the East Coast for few days: (Instead of airport parking, I spent $60 UberX in the morning to the airport & $40 SuperShuttle back from SMF) I dropped my car off in the early morning, before they opened with the plan to pick-up my car upon my return, in the evening after they were closed. Theresa was always very friendly over the phone, as was Kara when I checked in. I paid over the phone, before my return: sight-unseen, knowing I would not have time to fix any "mistakes" before driving back to SF where I live. I was more than pleased with the results! I am writing this review late-night, after my drive home because I was so impressed with the quality of their work. What an amazing MaacOver! The one problem i noticed so far this evening: I found myself unable to park up close in parking lots anymore, for fear of someone's car-door making contact with that perfect coat of paint! read more

I recently had my 2003 Tahoe painted by Maaco in Rancho Cordova (clear coat gone on the hood and roof) they did a great job. I've had a number of cars painted in the past to include a classic car. So, I'm not a stranger to the auto paint rodeo. Previously, I had a Toyota 4Runner painted by ES, down the street. They had an upcharge for everything, "you want the factory color? + $250, Oversize SUV? Upcharge" you get the idea. The paint job was "ok" but orange peeled quite a bit. I went back to ES to get an estimate for the Tahoe. I left shaking my head when they wanted $600 to wet sand and buff the truck to get it to look right. I questioned them as to why they couldn't get the paint fairly smooth right out of the booth? They told me "to look right, it's gotta be cut and buffed".... I read the Maaco reviews and was very weary. A friend highly recommended Maaco, so I went in. The staff was polite, respectful and very professional. I was taken out back of the shop to see cars that were being detailed after their paint work. I was shown every level of their work from the cheapest to a BMW that had two stage urethane. I opted for a single stage urethane, painted back to the factory paint code. Over sized, no up charge. Factory code? no up charge (Metallic no less). I brought the truck in on a Monday with a promise it would be done on Friday. I got a call on Thursday as an update that my truck was in the booth and would be ready the next day. I picked up my truck and was very happy with the work they did. The color matched. The metallic coverage was great, not spotty, thick or with any runs. The paint was very smooth, especially for a single stage. If I had to nit pick anything, it would be there were some spots that could have been masked a little tighter. But, this was a sub $1,300 paint job. I can't remember the last time a paint job came back on time and on budget. No bait and switch, no hidden charges. Maaco did me right. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Unfortunately have to give at least one star. Had to take car back three times and still not correct. First time terrible prep work, debris & fish eyes in paint had to redo bumper & fender. Second time they missed painting part of the fender they were suppose to fix the first time, plus there was still all kind of debris in paint. Third time took back to color sand and polish to try removing debris. Still have debris in paint and now the paint is dull in places. NO color match is a guarantee but now we have 5 shades of color on the car. If you have a nice car and want to keep that way take it some where else for body & paint. Took the car to two other body shops it will cost more than double to fix the paint correctly to restore it to the condition prior to Maaco touching it. North Highlands Maaco did the color sanding & buffing as they are owned by the same owner. read more

I brought my Jeep Patriot in to get it painted mainly for some peeling on the hood and roof. They did a great job overall painting and I loved how many color choices there were. The staff were super nice and helpful and I felt like I wasn't being ripped off. I gave 4/5 stars because when I picked up my car and got it home, I realized I was missing a blinker cover, a washer fluid nozzle was broken off and put back on and I was also missing a Jeep logo. I think they have great customer service though because when I went back in to explain to them my problems, they ordered the missing parts that were lost in the process of painting my car. I was very thankful that they didn't just shove me off and instead just fixed the problem. I have already recommended this location to many friends and family who are looking for a similar service. I would HIGHLY recommend to everyone to take clear photos of your vehicle before dropping it off though, I did this and luckily was able to prove that I brought my car in with all the parts that were later missing. read more

Years ago I was side swiped (hit and run... that jerk). There was minimal damage; the worst was the housing for my sideview mirror was broken off and my car had a scrape. Surprisingly, my electric moving mirror was intact and still worked so my twenty-something self wasnt worried about replacing it. Fast forward a few years, and my thirty-something self was finally tired of looking at my naked sideview mirror so I ordered one. It, of course, was flat black and needed to be painted to match my galaxy grey Honda Civic. That's when I called Maaco for a paint quote. Candy, the receptionist, was very nice and explained the shop had a minimum, but to stop by for an official quote. I stopped by on a Saturday with my mirror and Candy worked with me and gave me a decent quote and said it could be ready by Tuesday. Well, I just picked it up this week and had my husband install it and it's a perfect match. You wouldn't even be able to tell it was after market; the paint job is smooth and free of any imperfections. read more

I had my 1996 Dodge Ram painted (you know the years with the peeling paint and then the rust) by the Maaco on Sunrise in Rancho Cordova and they did an amazing job for a very good price. I am very satisfied with how it turned out, they got rid of the rust and the paint is smooth and even, no blemishes. Looks like a new truck! I was a little concerned bringing it in as I never used them before but very happy I did as it saved me a lot of money. so my husband and i have been using maaco for years now and they had always done super great on all of our paint jobs until now....we decided to go to the rancho cordova location to have a full paint job on my car. The paint job looked great, and they told us they could repair the side skirts as well, and so they did. Well about 1 month later the side skirt work was coming apart, when the work was originally done we signed papers saying that all the Maaco work is warrantied for i don't remember i think like 3 or 4 years. anyway...so we bring my car back in ask them to repair the work they did, and some manager named Gary? or wait i think Doug? sorry... anyway some jerk (pardon my language) tells me that the guy who was working there when i signed that paperwork has been recently fired in which that guy worked there for like 4 or 5 years, so the manager tells me that my work isn't covered and they cannot fix it under warranty even though it shows all my info in their system. whatever the point is....if you know anything about customer service the customer is ALWAYS right ....EVEN if they are WRONG. so i go back in try to be calm and speak to the man asking him why he is doing this to us, and he rolls his eyes acts like a child and walks away. i wait in the lobby ask him again what his problem is and he starts freaking out at me. So i say "fine" anyway ...can i please buy some touch up paint i need it to have the hardener in it because if you don't get it with hardener then it will never ever dry, he says OK. then about 2 weeks later i realize he didn't listen to me, and he gave me the touch up paint that did not have hardener in it. and that made my car look even worse everything i touched up is now just a goopy black spot with tons of dust and crud stuck in it because the mother effer wanted to piss me off even more, there is no way that was an accident i watched them mix it and they said they would do it right, he just wanted to get back at me. anyway .... never ever go to this Maaco, i later went to the Maaco in roseville and they were more than perfect to me its worth it to drive out of your way and go to the one in roseville please believe me. read more

Not impressed. The "Manager" as she was very quick to point out, was rude and dismissive drawing conclusions before she even had all the facts. Then to estimate that they would have my car for 6 weeks for some light body work and a pretty standard paint job, when other shops estimate about 2-3 weeks. Very disappointing. When I spoke to them by phone, they seemed like a friendly shop to work with. To be honest though, it was the manager who made me decide to take my business elsewhere. To say, "I don't care what anyone else told you. I'm the Manager and I say what cars we take." Doesn't fill me with the warm and fuzzies. I made 6 estimates for reprinting the front bumper, Maaco had the medium price, so I chose it. The required time to leave my car at the shop is 4 business days instead of 2 that other shops quoted. That was fine since I have two cars at home. The paint job came out looked descent, so far so good after a week. Here comes my dissatisfaction. The repair was repainting the front bumper which was taken off the car for the duration. One would expect that the rest of car needs little to be touched. But when I took back the car, the interior was all dusty on the carpet, dashboard and seats, there was engine oil on the shift stick. Couldn't they work like other shops do? workers wear simple protective gears, covering interior with plastic sheets ... and after all, what were they doing inside the cabin when the job was supposed to be on a detached bumper? My wife spent 1 hour in front of them to clean up with wet baby wipes and they didn't offer any apology nor assistance! Follow up after a week: Today, when drying up my car after washing it, I noticed 2 bumps due to dust particles trapped under the paint. I immediately drove to Maaco. No anger, and with a smile (a bitter smile, I admit) I voiced out my dissatisfaction about the job. The lady, though polite, told me not necessary to give out an ATTITUDE since it is easy to fix. After hearing that, I really started having attitude! She began to give me a lesson on painting to explain that dust trapped under paint is unavoidable, and this risk is written under the disclaims. Honestly, who would read the disclaims line by line? In practice, a good and honest customer representative would orally outline the few main points to the customer. Instead, I remember she , when I signed the contract, assured me that my car would just look brand new like before (my car is only 11months old). I don't call "brand new " when the surface visibly is not smooth! Besides, if it is easy to fix, then why didn't they spot those imperfections and fix them before delivering the car back to customer? Now, as a customer, I need to spend extra attention and extra time to fix something that is supposed to be done at first place. In addition, I don't have the right to be bitter, otherwise, I am considered having bad attitude! PS: I should have trusted some previous reviews about this business. But I made a bad decision of thinking "this only happens to others". Hope you, who read this review, won't make the same mistake. read more

I am writing this because my husband experienced TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This business deserves so stars. Recommendation: AVOID, STAY AWAY, DO NOT PATRONIZE! I should have checked out this place before taking my 84 Nissan pickup for a paint job. I agree w/ past reviews that yes, they were nice & polite at first. But, then their true colors came to the surface after I paid $2100 for the job. One of their shop employees inadvertently broke my tailgate handle. I contacted Kara & she told me they would take care of it. So I went and got the $48 part & went back for the repair. They fixed the handle but had to get approval from the owner, Gary for reimbursement for the cost of the part. WHAT A MISTAKE! Not only was it an extremely unpleasant experience, he actually questioned MY integrity and verbally abused me calling me ignorant! He was very UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO MAACO!!! We are so upset, we want to save others the trouble. I also intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and Maaco's corporate, if they even have one.. I took my truck in for a paint job, the paint was selected along with a pearl chosen from a chart from the Manager, the pearl was left out, the tailgate was not painted & one of the truck antennas was lost. my phone calls were not returned, poor management read more

This is a great family ran business. They have always treated me right and taken care of all my automotive bodywork needs. If I ever had any issue it was taken care of no questions asked. The warranty is outstanding compared to other shops in the area. read more

Thank u Maaco in Rancho!!! I took my Mustang GT there after I had a "oopsie" with a car port post. The whole quarter panel needed to be replaced and repainted. I waited almost 2 years to have it fixed because other quotes we had gotten were SO expensive. A close family friend referred this Maaco and my husband and I were happy we stopped in. The quote/estimate to fix my car was SO REASONABLE (hundreds less than other shops) and they even offered to repaint my entire car door (from a previous "oopsie")! I dropped my car off and got in back within 2 days, they were professional, my car looks BRAND NEW and they even took the time to wash and vacuum it for me. My experience with Maaco was exceptional. I took my '02 Toyota Camry in for a badly needed paint job on a Monday morning in February at 10 and picked it up the following day at 3pm. I had obviously benefited during a slow period of business and rainy weather. I had intended to get the cheaper enamel paint job, but was informed that they had a 50% special on the lacquer paint. I actually saved from the estimate price that I had acquired weeks before. I am very satisfied with the results of doing business with Maaco, and my car looks showroom new with a 3 year limited guarantee. read more
