Jordan and I came to New Orleans to celebrate my birthday, and dining at Justini's ended up being…read moreone of the most meaningful experiences of our entire trip. We ordered the seafood yaka mein, the signature lamb chops, and the catfish and grits. Every single dish lived up to the hype and then some. The flavors were bold, comforting, and unforgettable. You know a meal is special when every bite makes you stop talking for a second just to appreciate what's happening. The food alone would have made this a five-star experience. But what made this visit truly memorable was everything beyond the plate. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The service was exceptional, and every bartender we encountered was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at their craft. The cocktails were just as impressive as the food. What touched me most, though, was knowing this restaurant is owned by a Black woman who is also a wife, mother, and someone who clearly loves her community. As someone who was raised by strong Black women, there was something deeply emotional about sitting in that space and watching excellence on display at every level. Seeing talented Black women leading, creating, serving, and thriving wasn't just inspiring--it felt personal. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I don't often get to experience spaces that feel this familiar. Walking into Justini's felt like coming home. It felt like community. It felt like pride. It felt like a reminder of what is possible when passion, talent, culture, and hard work come together. The food was incredible. The service was outstanding. But the feeling this place gave me is what I'll remember long after this trip is over. Thank you for being the icing on the cake of an already amazing birthday vacation. I left with a full stomach, a full heart, and a tremendous sense of pride. We will absolutely be back.

Almost the rest of my table order sausage tacos, steak tacos and someone order something else i cant remember. Definitely should come and try it out. It was great! The drinks were good as well. Id Definitely come again

There was a casual, welcoming, as well as comfortable atmosphere to the place. Bacon Praline. Chef's kiss. This was the best bacon I have ever had! It was satisfyingly crispy, absolutely mouthwatering, expertly candied, topped with a generous dusting of praline, giving it an additional sweet taste and adding another layer of deliciousness to it. For my brunch meal, I ordered the Smothered Smoked Pork Chops with potatoes, eggs, and biscuit. The Pork Chops were tender with great smoky flavor, while the accompanying white, savory sauce was tasty and well seasoned with bits of meat. It was just a bit too fatty for me. Potatoes were also yummy, cooked perfectly, and slightly crispy. I requested the eggs to be fried over hard, and it was a bit weird, because the yolk seemed to be mixed in. It was also a little bland. Biscuit was too dry. Overall, this was a nice place to have brunch. Service was solid. The waitress was super friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. I would consider returning just to get the Bacon Praline again! I was also intrigued by the Waffle and Duck Hash with sweet potato, so want to try that dish.

Only disappointment is I couldn't take my parents because it's not really great for wheelchairs. But to the food! The empanadas were fantastic!!! We had the largest shredded pork to share! It flew of the table in seconds! Then we arder the parrillada, Fantastic dish, so then we order the ceviche (least favorite, but still good) and to finish a chicken arepa! The flavors were on point! Well balance, tasty and it was a little party in my mouth. Can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu! And the cocktail!!! Spectacular... I can't remember their name but we order one with stolo but they replaced it with Mezcal and that is a new favorite. The service was great, fast, cordial, well informed and very attentive. The chef came out to great us and talk which is always a nice touch! The place is charming. A little modern rustic. I loved it!!! Can't wait to go back! Wish I had taken pics but we were hungry so I forgot!

I had waited 10 minutes in line behind a lady that bought what's left of crawfish they had boiled in the container "about 6lbs" Thinking they had more being boil in the back, but was just told they're sold out. There was an hour and 45 minutes before they were time to close. I believe that's more than enough time to not have a mother batch ready to be taken out to sell. The next time I came was a short line of 5 people ahead of me. I had to wait for about 20-30 minutes. The crawfish was excellent compared to most places I've tried around and cross town but it just wasn't $7.49 good while mostly all seafood stores were $5.99 lbs and under on their price. Besides the service of waiting and price, the flavor and texture , everything was on point.

I really liked the caviar on the potato chips with a bit of egg white and yolk, plus a touch of crème. Very flavorful! I highly recommend this place. Every spot at the bar is cool.
