From the first moment, everything went flawlessly, which has not been my experience with other contractors. The company takes pride in its work and DOES sweat the details (in a good way!), ensuring there are no surprises when it comes to functionality, aesthetics, schedule, and costs. Their pricing was fair, and as someone who is a value-conscious consumer, I felt like the quality of the work - not to mention the ease of working with them - was tremendous for the price paid. They also were simply pleasant to have in our home for the better part of three months; they were always incredibly prompt, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our entire family, including kids and cats, with a lot of care. At one point they even helped me push my stuck car out of the mud I'd parked in to free up spots for their trucks. I'm also including some photos so you can see the quality of their work. My very experienced realtor told me these look like remodels that cost twice the price. Parviz and his crew also reliably gave solid input about design choices, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We'd hired handymen to do a smaller painting job and weren't satisfied with the results. So when it came time to tackle the bulk of the wallpaper, we chose DreamSpace Remodeling. Right from the start, Parviz gave us confidence that the work would be done well. He listened to what we wanted and provided us a complete estimate. He visited the site regularly, checking on his employees and asking us if we had any questions. When I reported to him that one of his employees wasn't getting as much done as the other, he pulled the employee from the job and put someone else on it. When I noted a seam in the wallboard, he had his workers flatten it and repaint. When he noticed peeling paint around a window that we hadn't asked him to address, he had his workers take care of it anyway. And when the supports for a shower rod got lost, he had an employee purchase, deliver, and install a shower rod. They even provided a shower curtain and hooks! Parviz epitomizes the best in customer service. I highly recommend DreamSpace Remodeling.

They offer competitive pricing, show up when they are scheduled (weather permitting), complete the job on time, and do excellent work. We used ESB Renovations when we first bought our house to re-carpet two floors. They were fast, efficient, and the carpet looks great; five years later, it still looks new. We also had the attic fan replaced, requiring much electrical work so it was no longer a fire hazard. When the paint in the living room started to bubble up, we knew who to call. Elliot determine that water was coming in from a leak in the small roof above the bump-out bay window. we had ESB renovations replace the roof and they added flashing around it to prevent future leaks. Before I talked to Elliot, I had no idea what flashing was. That is one thing that is great about talking to Elliot, he takes the time to explain things to you, he just doesn't just say "we'll fix it". You definitely know what you are going to get. This past year (2014), we had to get the front porch fixed because the concrete was cracked and crumbling away. As always we got a quote from ESB Renovations and they provided the service we wanted, to have the porch recapped. I always get 1 or 2 other quotes (I am a buyer for a living), but other contractors said the job was too small, wanted to tear the porch down completely, or patch it and spray it with GraniTite. We also had ESB Renovations re-parge the concrete on the back wall of our house. There were two large crack that had been there for years after the house settled. This was a very challenging job that other said could not be done. Well, ESB Renovations did it and it looks like new!

Deck was installed wrong with no joice hangers , joices did not run to main beam but were cut short and scab nailed to existing joice coming from house . Deck fell off back of house and was unsafe . Called Elliot the owner and told me he would pay for labor but I need to pay for material . I'm out 1016 $ so far for material and it is still adding up and this does not include the labor for new contractor I hired . Had County Inspector look at it and he had never seen a deck built to such poor workmanship . I pray screened in porch don't fall off house next . Key word - get a permit and have work like this inspected and don't use ESB Renovations for work . Hell of nice guys , but no carpenters . Screened in porch out of square and one end 1" 7/8 higher than other end . They tried to say my house was crooked and through the porch off . Get a permit and have it inspected .

The next hard rain after replacing the boot proved otherwise. Multiple estimates ran a gamut of roofing/plumbing possibilities ranging from $340 - $800. Estimates did not guarantee the issue would be fixed nor were any of the companies able to include repair of the ceiling. Fortunately, I found Hugh on Yelp. He was quick to reply to my call and scheduled me for the following day. He advised me I would be following another job and he kept me abreast of any delays. Hugh not only was able to determine where the leak was coming from and fix it but he also did a water test to determine the issue had been solved AND fixed the ceiling. He and his employees worked at full throttle their entire time they were here and left no mess behind them. Hugh offers a full spectrum of services including landscaping, decks/patios, kitchen upgrades to full home renovations. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Additionally, he is a nice guy.

You might have thought some years ago when my husband and I had a carport attached to our house…read morethat the contractor we hired would know what he was doing. Years later, as the carport was sinking into the ground, we realized that he didn't. So on the recommendation of a friend, we hired Hugh's Services who immediately determined that the posts holding up the carport had been literally inserted into the ground with no concrete. We were very surprised. Hugh and his crew were highly professional. They dug out the posts, poured the concrete and balanced out what could have been a very serious catastrophe. In addition, they installed and redirected my downspout system that allowed gallons of water to gather under the carport. And they installed a brand new downspout, redirecting the rain under our front porch. All of those systems are underground and undetectable, adding value to our home. With his sharp eyes, Hugh also noticed that the flashing around our chimney had never been properly installed, and he fixed that. Would I hire Hugh again? You betcha! Nothing escapes his eye, and he absolutely knows what he is doing. Diane M. Brown
