So - The reason I love Walgreens so much is for the unusual product lines, sweet deals and big savings. And their candy section is second to none. Lol. This Walgreens is located in Red Bank, a beautiful enclave surrounded by mountains: Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain and Raccoon Mountains surround and ring-around the 5.6 square miles of Red Bank. It's lovely. I was looking for a certain line of conditioner I've been using that I haven't been able to find here for months, so I've given up on finding it. No loss. I found a new line of products that look, sound and smell like they are going to be fabulous. The line is called "Cake". Each of their maybe 30 different items in their product line were on sale for $8.99 (which is a rather decent price in itself). If you buy one, you then get one of equal/less value of 50% off. I bit. Once I started looking at the myriad of different items in their product line and how great they all smelled, I was more than curious. I'm a label-reader and I was happy to see all their products were cruelty-free and vegan. Sold. Now to pick out the choices. I settled on a Conditioner called "The Soft Serve", which promises the moon, and a Blow Out Balm called "The Grace Full", and they are both -apparently- 'Totally-To-Die-For'. We'll see ;;) I checked out the Easter candy tentatively and noted we've got yet another excuse to buy some good Lindt Chocolate Bunnies. Lol. They were on a 2-for-1 sale, so you can bet I'll be back before they are all gone. Every store employee I've come in contact with every time I've been in has been extremely friendly, happy and kind. That's the thing about Chattanooga that I love so much; the kindness of the people. It is refreshing to walk into this extremely clean Walgreens any day of the week.

After that I was manipulated into believing that , the membership wouldn't be too bad, after that I signed a contract , wasted 2 hours listening to crap about these products and why I would have to buy them! I was expecting to spend like maximum $100 to get tan( I really wanted to get tan that day) ! I ended up leaving with products that I wasn't sure about just because I was told I would need them, and spending $323 dollars !!!! After realizing how bad was my experience that literally lasted minutes .... Clean floors and clean testing stations, and generally very well stocked, but there is a real lack of diversity in the staff compared to other Sephora locations (at least working weekdays). This Sephora does indeed follow the standard operating procedure of customer servicing you to the point of annoyance - it's their main strategy of loss prevention. Unfortunately it does make it insufferable to just browse. Ulta really has them beat in that regard. After five minutes in Sephora I just want to leave. However the brands they carry remain fantastic, and it's easy to get in and out quickly since it's close to the main entrance, and when I do have questions the staff is very knowledgeable about their brands and also skincare advice. Returns are easy, no hassle.

She recommended a couple different ladies she had previously worked with but both of them fell short of Nikki's protectionism and fabulous nails. I was sad and concerned I'd never find another nail tech as good. Then I messaged the owner of Salons by Jc. I'd forgotten she had a salon with a nail tech. She gave me Jenny's number and I immediately texted her. Because she's the Only nail tech at the salon And apparently because she's good, she stays booked. I was willing to wait. After about a week I went in for a full set. Not only did she only charge me $45 but my nails are stunning. They're absolutely beautiful. They are thin but still very sturdy and when I got home my nails don't hurt. Obviously they shouldn't, but sometimes they do because many nail techs go too close to the cuticle. I was happy she only charged me $45 because I was able to give a decent $15 tip. Still, at $60 it's still less than I'm used to for such good work. Take my word, book with Jenny even though you may have to wait to get in. Tip appropriately! She's worth it!

New are 2020 centric hand sanitizers that are wonderfully-moisturizing and aromatherapeutic. The sales people are always very helpful, friendly and cheerful. There is no charge to browse, and the clerks that work here won't mind if you do. Next door and somewhat attached to BBW is their sister company, White Barn. White Barn predominantly sells candles and beautiful holders for them. There is always some deal to be had here any time of the year. They also conduct an annual promotional event.
