I have to say I've been going to this store since it opened and have had them ignore me as stated in the other reviews but I've also had wonderful service. I think the problem is they are too busy of a store for the limited amount of staff they have working. But I must say my last experience on October 27th was absolutely horrible!!!! I only by Mac I don't use any other make up and I've had my make up done many many times by Mac but never at this store. I've had it done at the Macy's Fashion Show every time, I should have continued having it done there. I had made an appointment for my friend and I at 4:00 we arrived 10 minuntes early and tried to check in but was ignored repeatedly. We were even in line and the staff at the counter ignored us to take people behind us! VERY RUDE!! So we finally get checked in and told to wait, that they are a few minutes behind. Okay no problem that's why I made my appointment so early so we didn't have to rush. However I finally get seated with someone and introduced as the girl who was going to do my make up she asked what I wanted to do and I guess what I wanted was too boring or something because she walks off and 20 minutes later I am told some guy named Antonio will be doing my make up instead and the other girl got assigned to someone else. Meantime when my friend gets checked in she's already scratched off the list because someone has taken her appointment and said they were her! You'd think they would of asked for verification of the phone number that made the appoinment which they write below your name. So they seat my friend and she is introduced to the person doing her make up who goes and helps tons of other people check out instead of doing her make up just keeps walkin up to my friend telling her I'll be with you in a few minutes. I'll be with you in a few minutes, I'll be right with you. 40 minutes later she finally starts her make up. Meantime I'm getting my make up done and the guy is totally rushing and tells me he doesn't have time to do eyeliner and he doesn't spray it with the setting spray or even do any of the final touches that Mac is known for in their make up like the inside corners or any liner of any type on my eyes at all including the wet line. I was extremely disappointed! I could have done the make up job he did on me! I do my make up the way he did on a daily basis I was hoping for the usually wonderful job I get at Mac at Macy's. He was too busy to go to lunch I guess and was behind because he didn't start on me till 4:40 so I only got 20 mins of my appointment time I paid for. I also had the same problem with him going off to help customers who were getting make up and things like that. At Macy's they have set people doing make up and set people selling. Make sense! and better customer service. I have to say I'm seriously disappointed in my experience at this Mac and it's enough to turn me off to ever walking in that store again. I am forwarding this to the Mac corporation also so they get this complaint also. My friend was rushed through her appointment also and told that the lady didn't have time to do everything she wanted. To get these appointments you have to spend at least $50 which we spent well over $100 so I don't understand the way we were treated. I also can tell you why they were running so behind. They were taking walk ins for make up appointments when that weekend is one of the busiest for getting make up done and we all make appointments at least a month ahead of time. I had the absolute worst experience here the other day. I went in for a "back to MAC" and when I gave the employee my empties she asked if I wanted to "replenish" any of them. I said no, I just want the two free lipsticks today. Well once she realized I wasn't going to actually spend money she was pretty useless. I asked for Creme Cup first and she handed it to me and walked away...I've NEVER applied make up on myself in that store before. Even if I'm trying lip gloss they apply it. Like five minutes later she comes back and I was like "Well I didn't have another color in mind so what are the must haves? Like what sells well or what are the classics?" And she said she didn't know. If she had been nicer and actually made suggestions she totally could have sold me so much more. I have always had exceptional service at MAC and am generally offered multiple product suggestions which I end up buying. Again, because she had decided in her mind that I wasn't going to spend money, she made no attempt to sell anything. My husband can vouch that I generally spend a truckload of money on make-up. She eventually gave me Brave and one more and I ended up loving them both but I had to practically beg her to let me try make-up. She and another associate also spent most of the time she was "helping" me discussing how they couldn't wait to "turn up" that night. Really? How unprofessional. The customers don't want to hear about your personal life. It's unfortunate I didn't get her name, but I was so furious that I just took my lipsticks and left. read more

Kind of embarrassed to write this, but I was treated so rudely today - I couldn't keep my trap shut. I went in with my "empties" - empty product that you exchange for a free lip gloss at a 6:1 ratio. Apparently, only five of my empties were valid - the other two were from a special gift set and didn't qualify. That's all well and good - but when I walked in, a girl was helping me, and a gentleman employee walked by, poked through my little bag, and loudly exclaimed - "We don't take those!" He then proceeded to walk away. Perhaps I'm sensitive, but I was embarrassed. I'm not trying to jimmy a free lip gloss out of MAC. I buy more makeup than most small countries. this was SUCH AN AWESOME experience! I booked this for my wife before a very formal evening we had planned. we arrived 3 hours early and they were so great to fit us in (all of the other MAC stores closer to the strip were booked - so happy this one had time). I can't remember the artist's name - she had long blond hair! they did a fantastic job - my wife was SO HAPPY with the end result (and of course picked up some MAC products which is required for the complimentary makeup). She was very patient and made several minor touchups that my wife asked for. We would definitely do this again, and would come to this store. read more

My mother and I went in two days ago and OBE was extremely helpful, kind and professional. One of the other workers was not helpful and all and would only respond with a head shake or simple "no" and walk away but, Obe's awesome customer service made the visit worth while. Thanks OBE ! read more

I'm usually not surprised at the lack of Customer Service at ANY MAC counter. Every time I visit I am either wowed or disappointed. In this case it was the worst I've ever been treated. My mother and I walked in to the store and there were 3 associates and 2 customers. I knew what I wanted and went straight to the area where the products was displayed. My mom wondered around picking up a couple of items that she was interested in. One of the associates was with one customer and the other 2 associates were with the other customer. I was well aware of the time and the fact that the store was practically empty that my mother nor I had been greeted by any of the associates even though we had made the rounds of the store a couple of times. When the two associates that had finished their long, personal conversation with the customer and she walked out, one associate got on the phone and the other walked out of the store, neither giving even a nod to me or my mom. By this time I was annoyed and my mom had picked up several products and was ready to purchase. We went to the counter and the associate that was on the phone held up a finger and continued his personal conversation about the customer that just left. She must have been a previous employee and the associate was not speaking kindly about her on the phone. I wasn't at MAC to get an earful of gossip, I just wanted to purchase my items. I came into this Mac location a little less than a month ago with my bridal party. My face was blessed by obe!! Here's a back story. I booked a makeup artist to do my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup for me wedding long story short he canceled on me 2 days prior to my wedding! I called this Mac and got us all appointments. I was hesitant at first because I have had several makeup artist do my makeup in the past and I ended up hating it! Not this time! Obe listened to what I wanted and talked to me throughout the appointment which put me at ease. I usually do my own makeup on the heavier side and he totally cleaned me up lol after the wedding my husband (who absolutely hates makeup) said he loved my makeup and he wish he could personally thank whoever did it! Thank you again obe for giving me a peace of mind on a hectic day and making me look beautiful!!! I can not thank you enough!! I also want to thank everyone who worked that day because each person did an amazing job on my bridal party! She was very thorough and took the time to write down every product she used so that I could take the info with me for a wedding I'm in next month. First time here! We were a group of 4 with appointments, Karolina welcomed our group with a big smile. She went ahead and did my makeup. She did a great job of explaining what she was doing and why that product was great for my skin. I wanted to buy everything. I can't wait to come back, definitely coming back to Karolina. I went to the Mac store for the release of the Selena collection last week. As we waited in line, the manager of the store was so nice she brought out mc donalds breakfast and juice for eveyone waiting in line, as we waited over two hours for the store to open. As soon as 10:00am hit the mac girls at the front of the door played selean music while the doors opened to let us in. The event was very well oranized and fun. The girls were danceing and singing and interacting with everyone in line asking us about our purchases and talked to us about Selena. It was an amazing experience and the mac girls were so cheerful and upbeat and just as excited as us selenas fans were. I hope these girls (expecially the two girls who were in front interacting with the crowd) get some type of recognition for their great job that day, they made my experience so memorable! So i never ever go into MAC stores because the customer service is usually horrible. Literally from state to state same crappy service and piss poor attitudes lol. I visited this Town Square location with my mom today since the Star Trek collection is out and shes a trekie and a total newbie when it comes to MAC, but wanted to see the items in person before ordering online. Upon entering this cozy little location i was warmly greeted, the music wasnt blaring and it wasn't overly packed full of teeny boppers or pretentious grown women with a lack of respect for others. Obie,Sam and "other"(we jokingly agreed on this to protect his identity lol) were funny, personable, non pushy and very knowledgeable they all possess the patience of an angel. My mom swatched, chatted, laughed and was able to make a final decision on what to order online without feeling inferior, rushed or weird.WE LEFT FEELING CONFIDENT!! All and all i will only come to this location if for nothing but just the customer service alone. Let me start by saying OH MY GOODNESS! I absolutely love love Mac! I have tried various, numerous face products and non seem to have pleased me!! I have always used Mac's lipsticks and brushes but not their foundation. I one day gave up on other beauty stores and decided to give Mac a shot. No disappointments!! I walked in and was greeted by Samantha!! Who took VERY good care of my face! She is one great artist! she knew exactly what I wanted and gave me the look I have been wanting for quite some time!! I DEFINATELY recommend Samantha she is wonderful and does not tell you what you want to hear but what YOU want. She's best at Conturing so if your looking on tips or any advice go to her! She also gives make up classes! Deffinately recommend the location !!! read more

I had my make up done tonight by Karolina for a Lady GaGa concert and it turned out AMAZING!!! She did such an amazing job and I was so impressed with the way it looked! She is extremely talented and exceed my every expectation. The only down fall was that the appointment started late, but I know that wasn't due to her because I watched management tell her at 4:15 (when my apt. was for 4:00) that I needed to be helped. I also didn't like how management rushed her in the end to finish up because they needed my "chair." The older asian woman (who I believe is a manager) came over after Karolina had been with me for 15 minutes and was like "are you going to be done in ten? I need this chair for a 5:00 apt" Well, if you look at my face and see only one eye done, she's probably not going to be finished.... Other than that I was very impressed with this MAC store. I have now been to Misty and Karolina for a make up application and I thought they both were excellent. Both times I looked amazing and my make up stayed on all night!
