Honestly loved this place! I came from California for EDC weekend and the service I got here was amazing! I loved my makeup artist Yesenia and Mariah they were such a great help. We had a great conversation while they did my makeup. They both are someone I recommend to get you're makeup done. The first day Yesi did my makeup and Mariah the second day for my makeup. They both were amazing and super nice. The first day was more of a nature look while the second day was more of an intense wonder women makeup look. Really bummed I have to write this but I got my make up done here a few weeks ago and I probably wouldn't even have written a review but I got a terrible eye infection from here and I'm pretty sure it's because they didn't clean the brushes they used to do my make-up. The next day I woke up with infected eyes that were all pink and crusted over... UGH. Plus the customer service was pretty bad as well. In 2019 customer service should be everything but at this location not so much. I called to ask if they do make up appointments and they said yes just spend $60 and you can get your make up done. Cool. I made an appointment. I show up at 4:55, my appointment is at 5. The girl who is scheduled to do my appointment starts taking all these people who walk in and helping them pick out product and try on make up. I'm watching this now for 15 min, super confused, why would you schedule me at 5 for an actual appointment but take and help every person that walks in. I'm so confused by this, MAKES NO SENSE... she sees me sitting in the chair but is helping other customers. It's so rude. Now it's 5:20, twenty minutes past my appointment time at this point. I'm just about to get up and leave and she comes over to start. Maybe does about 4 minutes of make up and then goes and helps another customer. Now it's 5:30 and maybe my face has been worked on for five minutes. I'm baffled. Trying to remain calm and cool. Finally she continues... Honestly the service was so horrible i should have booked anywhere else in town and i would have spent DOUBLE for better service and to not get pink eye from this place who clearly doesn't clean their brushes. I am a die-hard MAC loyalist. I love their make up and there have only been 2 occasions when I have gotten bad service. Once about 7 years ago, and once last Saturday (1012/13) My husband and I had some time to kill before dinner and I needed 2 items. I had the names of the products I needed and it would have been a super fast transaction. We weren't even greeted upon entering the store. There was an associate doing makeup on a customer, another associate helping 2 customers, and one gal behind the register dealing with a growing line. The place was buys. I get it, but I wasn't even acknowledged after saying "Excuse me" about 5 times. I'm not a pain in the a$$ customer, and I didn't make a fuss. I felt it was so rude to just be ignored. I wouldn't have minded waiting if I was at least acknowledged, but to be in there for more than 10 minutes without an acknowledgement is totally unacceptable. read more

Hands down the best experience I've ever had at MAC over the many years as a customer, was with my trip yesterday. Anna was such a pleasure! You are lucky to have her! From the moment I stepped in the doors she kindly greeted me and catered to my needs. I didn't feel pressured or rushed. She listened, and provided me with the upmost customer service. I left feeling beautiful (I had a date I showed up for and he even said how great I looked!) with her amazing makeup skills and a smile on my face from her kindness. This was the worst customer service I've ever gotten. The experience was horrible and the employees were very rude. I walked into the Mac at Town Square and was greeted by an employee. Then she walked right past me and offered to help the girl behind me. There was another employee on the phone at the desk that didn't even look up or tell me that she would be with me soon. The first girl finally looked back at me and said in an annoyed voice that someone would be with me when they had time. Not a very nice way to say that. I waited several minutes for someone to help me. Finally a man came out of the back and asked if I had been helped. I said no and told him that I needed to get my makeup done. (please note that I have dropped into many different Mac stores and I have never had a problem being seen. You get a full face makeup job done and you purchase at least $50 worth of product after. Fair enough I'd say) The man asked if I had an appointment and I said no. I looked around and saw that there were 3 employees and only one other customer in the store besides me. He says that I need an appointment and that it's a $50 fee and that I need to go back to the desk to see if someone could see me. Again- 3 employees and only one other customer. He then tells me that if I was able to be seen as a walk in that it could take 1.5-2 hours to get my makeup done because he needs to walk away every time someone comes in that needs help. Weird because he was doing nothing when I got there and I still had to wait several minutes for help. I asked him when the walk in policy changed and he said that it had been like that ever since the stores opened. Not true because I've gotten my makeup done as a walk in several times at this location. I ask him why every other store does a full face of makeup for the $50 product purchase and then he says oh well yeah you can do that too. I was so frustrated that I left with out buying anything that I needed. I will never go back to this location again. I hope they get their staffing issue under control or no one else will go there either. read more

UPDATE: I was at Town Square and thought let me see how this goes. Upon walking in the store I was greeted by three different associates and was assisted immediately. While in the store I noticed they greeted everyone who entered, very pleased with service and upgraded to reflect the visit not only at this location but a recent visit to the MAC counter at Nordstrom's and the customer service I received there. Love MAC, HATE this location! So rude, you basically have to assist yourself, I was almost to the point of opening drawers myself. I was standing in line to check out and a sales associate walked another customer over put her in line in front of me and said she would be assisted next?! WHAT! I was livid and the customer said are you in line, yep but I guess they don't care. Finally someone else came over and I told her that I hadn't been acknowledged by anyone and yes I needed more stuff. She was actually very helpful but not enough to make me shop here again. I should have known as the last time the associate seemed totally uninterested in assisting me until it became apparent I was going to purchase around $300 in product. Take your business to Dillard's at the Galleria or Nordstrom's. Or just order online and avoid their rude, condescending, close to non-existent customer service all together. read more

I walked in and was immediately greeted by Obe who helped color match me. I get serious anxiety whenever I go to cosmetic stores in need of color match help with foundation and concealer (let's just say I've had professionals match me with colors that had me lookin like a geisha girl). I ask a lot of questions (mostly because I know nothing about makeup and am curious) and Obe was very patient with me. He took his time testing every possible combination of concealer and foundation to help me cover my acne scarring while maintaining a natural look and I walked out of there happier than I have ever been after buying makeup. This is THE best MAC store in Vegas! I have been shopping at this location for years and it by far surpasses any other location in the area! Every time I walk in I am greeted my multiple artists and they always help me find the rights colors that I need. They always know so much about what is in their products and which will fit my skin the best. I don't know what I would do without this store! They were earning a legacy badge for entertainment technology. They were so great with the girls. Even providing drinks and snacks for them. Every time coming to this store is a torture. The employees give you a look like they do you a favor of serving you. Poor customer service. Came now to the store, was not offered any assistance when choosing a blush. Left the store empty handed. Not that they were busy - there were only 2 associates busy with customers, one was helping a customer at the register and other 3 that I saw were wondering around minding their business. Did not even say hi. Understanding that they do commission and have s minimum daily sales goal, they choose the customers who look more potential. So dress nice and put more make up on on that day you are planning to visit this store in order to be served fast! read more

I love this MAC store because of the great customer service, especially from Ana. I sooo believe in customer service. Since I've been going to MAC and had my make up done by so many other staff members that don't make me and my friends feel as welcome, comfortable, and special as Ana made us feel. She also teach us which no one really likes to do. Also, have patience. Its people like Ana that makes a company successful, because customers will keep wanting to come back again and again. I just got started with MAC make up in 7/2013 and my sister in law for 6 years and weve never seen anyone that does her make up, teaches, takes their time, and just gives u the service u need and pay for as Ana does. The other stores I've been too have lack luster people that are very unfriendly. At this MAC, they are not pushy at all either. What a great experience at MAC In Town Square. I have been using Mac for years. Kristina took care of me she immediately greeted me. I had some questions about different techniques and how to use different products they have. Kristina made me feel so comfortable with the questions I had and showing me how to use the products. This is by far the worst experience at any Mac I've ever received. I called on Tuesday April 12th about an appointment for my birthday and everything was fine. I finally show up on the date which is today and they don't have any recollection of me calling or setting up an appointment. Then apparently the manager says they'll fit me in, and I get there and no one is available. Absolutely the worst. Mind you I'm from out of town and it's my birthday. I got a wonderful MAC gift card from my husband for Christmas so we went to get some goodies at the Town Square location. A wonderful young lady named Bertha helped me find colors that would match me perfectly and showed me some awesome techniques on how to get my eyebrows to look a bit nicer. She was AWESOME!!! Everyone is always so friendly here when we go and very helpful! Highly recommend this location and Bertha will be my "go to girl" when I stop in for more goodies!!! read more
