    Fruity cereal macaron

Such a good place to stop in for a sweet treat. Especially if you just want something small! I tried the fruity cereal macaron and it was so good. The person helping us was super nice. The store was clean and has cool lighting. Definitely recommend, especially for a quick dessert.

This was the cutest little macaron shop. They had so many flavors in beautiful colors. I got the mimosa flavor. It was light and flavorful. The price is reasonable. The employee was so nice. There was also a class going on when we stopped in. I assume they were learning how to make macarons. Super cool! 10/10 will definitely go back.

Stopped here as part of a wine and dessert tour. Fantastic macarons. There were around 20 different flavors with rotating specials. I had the birthday cake and cereal flavored ones. Excellent. We bought some to go but haven't tried them yet.

What a fun afternoon learning g how to make macrons. As expected it is challenging but Nathan the executive chef did a great job helping turn out reasonably good looking macrons. Overall a very fun activity and I highly recommend giving it a try

We stopped into Macaron Bar while walking around downtown Cincinnati. We were attracted by the Pride decorations and the thought of delicious cookies! The store is really cute and the macarons are front and center on display. We were greeted right away by a friendly staff member who asked if we had any questions and who helped us pick out our flavors. We ended up buying a dozen cookies for my grandpa's 90th birthday and got a nice selection of flavors. We loved that there is a black raspberry chip flavor. They put everything into a cute box and we ended up buying an Amaretti cookie as we were checking out. The staff person also gave us a pistachio macaron that had gotten smooshed since we were talking about it being one of their favorite flavors. My grandpa said the cookies were so good! A great gift for sure. The Amaretti cookie and pistachio macaron we ended up eating and both were great. I would absolutely buy the Amaretti cookie again if I see them again- it was my first time trying one and it was so good. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy macarons or are wanting to try them for the first time.

Had an amazing experience learning to make macarons. Nathan and Kim are wonderful! This is the real deal - start to finish. Over 3 hours learning every step, including insider tips for macaron perfection. I highly recommend this class at the Cincinnati location.

This place is amazing! The macarons are so delicious! Black raspberry ones are my favorite. I took a class here on how to make them and that was an awesome experience and now I can make them at home. So yummy!

Walked in when we saw their sign next to Al's popcorn. My mom is a huge macaroon lover and these did not disappoint. Quite a few flavors to choose from. They have classes that sound intriguing as well!

Food: 4.5/5 They have macarons in every color of the rainbow. After trying many flavors, our favorites are the pistachio, birthday cake, and fruity cereal. The pistachio has a great pistachio flavor and is not overly sweet. The birthday cake is strawberry-forward and is excellent if you have a sweet craving. The fruity cereal tastes exactly like fruity pebbles. They have other flavors we enjoy as well, like salted caramel and Madagascar vanilla. They are delicious and so cute! Service: 3.5/5 Since they have the macarons prebaked, service is usually fast. They have other baked goods for sale that I haven't tried. They have cute long boxes they put them in. Atmosphere: 4/5 The storefront is small, with limited seating. The space is mainly filled with baking equipment. It's very clean and has a minimalist aesthetic with pops of color.

Just look at these cute and colorful macarons from Macaron Bar! I love the walking in and being so excited to pick out my little box of joy! Pictured here (top down): Chocolate Birthday cake Fruity Pebbles Espresso Coconut Pistachio

My absolute favorite macarons ever! I have had quite a few macarons from different places and none compare to Macaron Bar. They have the perfect chewy shell, with decadent fillings that melt in your mouth. They always have an abundance of flavors and I especially like their seasonal flavors. My favorite all time flavor is Birthday Cake. The customer service is usually pleasant, so no complaints there. There is seating inside, but it's not a lot. We haven't had a problem with this though, because there isn't usually a lot of foot traffic when we go. No public bathrooms which is a downer, but obviously not a dealbreaker. I have had them shipped to my house before and can say they do not travel well, so it's a must to purchase them fresh in-store. Highly recommend Macaron Bar!

My son said these are the best things ever. I can't say that I have tried them. But I would be willing to try something different. I would say try it and see what you think. I posted some pics of what they have to offer. I did try them and I have to say I may have crossed over to the dark side. Good news for this day. Is that they were having buy 12 get 6 free. Soooooooo I did buy 12 and took some home. Now parking really sucks. So have fun with that. I drive a large truck and the parking spots are made for compact cars. But let me add that you won't be disappointed to come in and try something delicious for your face. It will give you the yum yum wiggles. Doesn't that sound like something you want your body to do? Stay awesome! Me

Delicious & fresh macarons. The birthday cake was my absolute favorite. The shop is so cute and the service was great. I had my little girl with me and it was her birthday (she was wearing a bday sash), she gave her 1 free macaron. I thought that was so sweet. Well played, twist my arm to come back why don't ya!

Macaroons were not fresh. The salted caramel macaroons were saltier than the sea. Also it'd be great if there was water or something.

Pricey, but amazing. Better than the Macarons I had in Paris. Amazing! If they were cheaper, I'd be 200lbs heavier.

I finally made it there last week and it was so so gooood. I ordered the oatmeal creme pies because I wanted to try the real deal and it was so worth it. I also got a dozen of the cake pops and my nephews ate almost all of them with a 24 hour period. Great restaurants and shops in and near Findlay Market, Cincinnati!…read more We had a free day while visiting relatives, and any day is fun at Findlay Market in the mid-north of the OTR (Over The Rhine) area of Cincinnati! (Well, not Mondays when they are closed :-). Parking isnt free, but it's not too expensive, and we had no problem finding a space in the North Parking Lot between Findlay Street and the market. We came in through a covered outdoor walkway, with a few vendors and with clever sayings along the sides. Then a cute photo-op with a cartoon Reds statue. Then the market stretching left and right, full of fresh produce, meats and cheese, and ready-to-eat foods of all kinds. On our first walkthrough we just scanned left and right to see some of what's there. It was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded. Out the south door of the market onto Elder Street, there's several murals, and more shops and restaurants. We always stop in at Maverick Chocolate Co. for a few yummy samples from so many flavors. They used to make the chocolate here, and now it's made just across the river in KY, where you can still get tours and probably samples :-). We sampled around six varieties! And decided on four. But it was a hot day, so we decided to circle back later for our purchases. The staff was welcoming, and maybe they didn't really know that we would return, but they were still just as kind as can be :-). We walked west to Elm Street to the stop for the free Connector streetcar, just to take a little ride around town, partly to see some of the hundreds of murals around town! And we got off again, later, at the same stop. Right there at the west end of the Market building there's an outdoor bar and patio. I, myself, was ready for a little refreshment, and they poured me a delicious local bourbon cocktail, while others of us had local craft beers. We found shaded seating among probably 20 or more round red metal tables, with chairs that were really raucous when moved! The seats fill and empty in fits and spurts, and there"s a handful of backless stools at the bar, so if you wait a little, you'll find a place to sit. We dove back into the market for some freshly-made pierogis, and a to nearby bbq, too. And afterwards, we circled back to Maverick for delicious fresh-made artisanal chocolate :-). Yum, yum, and more yum! We saw so many places we want to return to! Findlay Market has everything! I'll post a very few of so many photos that we took of a full, fun day. It's a nice area to walk around, shop, eat, and drink. And it's a great spot to catch the Connector streetcar to get around OTR and downtown Cincinnati, to within a-few-minutes-walk of the porch-swings overlooking the Ohio River near the ballpark :-)
