However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.

What a disappointing experience…read more I've been placing phone orders for Barbari bread every other week for years, always calling a day or two in advance. Yesterday, I placed an order for pickup after 3:00 p.m., and it was confirmed. When I arrived today, my order didn't exist. Instead of apologizing, the manager claimed it wasn't made because I "didn't prepay"--even though no one asked me to prepay when I placed the order. Then they asked me to prove I had called by showing my phone log. I'm not upset that a mistake happened. I'm upset by the complete lack of accountability and poor customer service. Own the mistake, apologize, and make it right instead of blaming a loyal customer. Customers have plenty of options in Las Vegas, and experiences like this are exactly why people take their business elsewhere.
