Whitney - the owner and creator of cookies that look too good to eat and actually taste as good as they look - is AMAZING!! I was going to a dear friend's baby shower and thought it would be nice to bring some cute cookies. This sweet idea popped into my head a couple days before the baby shower though. Who am I gonna call??? The Cookie Zoo!!!! I did some online searching/Yelping and came across The Cookie Zoo; I am so glad I did!! I perused their website and was wowed by the various cookie designs! Whitney said my order could be done by the next day! YESSSSS!!! The ordering process was super simple. I let Whitney know the color schemes and let Whitney do her cookie magic. You can tell she is very experienced and talented at what she does!! Whitney was easily accessible through phone and email, and quickly responded to my initial inquiry! When I picked up the cookies, Whitney was flexible with the timing. If it was after hours, she was going to leave the cookies at Kanamaroo Indoor Playground for me to pick up. When I saw the cookies, I was blown away at how adorable they were!! Whitney was so sweet, she packed me a small bag of the sugar cookie scraps so I could taste how good the cookies were! Our company was exhibiting at a tradeshow in Vegas, and my cake pops were delayed in delivery by a different company. Wow, wow, and WOW!! Seriously, mind blown away! I ordered a $65 custom birthday cookie tray with brownie bites for my Daughter's 11th birthday. As I work a lot and attend school as well, I am such a procrastinator and have a terrible habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done! I got in touch with Cookie Zoo on Monday and after corresponding for most of the day, I was finally able to speak with Whitney once I got out of work. I sent her the image I was looking to have done for my Daughter's cookies. She requested "Hooty" cookies from the Disney show "Owl House." I sent over the image I was looking for and was informed that the tray could in fact be done by Wednesday (the day of my Daughter's birthday). Wednesday afternoon, I headed over to Cookie Zoo to pick up my order and when I saw what they had created, it was beyond my expectations and I was speechless. I highly recommend this company. So many good things to say about this company. I searched a few other companies and prices as well. I was in search of 300 PAC-MAN cookies, from the first phone call with the owner, Whitney, to the end result was a positive experience. Whitney asked that I send her some "inspiration" photos and from there the price was great and delivery and the finished product was superb. Amazing cookies! I sent them a picture of the baby shower I needed the cookies for and they created the cookies in the baby shower ( woodland babies) theme that looked amazingly like the invitation! Gorgeous cookies that also tastes delicious!!! Everyone loved the cookies , and although they were almost too perfect to eat, everyone raved about the flavor while they polished off 150 cookies!! The staff was also very professional and helpful and made recommendations for the style of various cookies that worked perfect for the baby shower. These were the best cookies!! Wanting to reward and surprise the men of the office and show my appreciation for all the love and support over the last couple of weeks I decided to reward them with custom made cookies. The group of guys at my office are so great and need to be reminded how wonderful they are. They are very much like typical guys the best way to get their attention is with some kind of baked treat or those amazing comfort foods they all long for. Wanting to go light with these 100 degree days now here to stay, cookies seemed just right. I found Cookie Zoo with help from Siri's returned searches. There website is a breeze to use and all of their reviews on Yelp have nothing negative to offer. I consulted with their price list online before ordering. One always wants to know what the price is first. When I called the business the party at the other end was professional and took my order with absolutely no issues. This company does do specialized ordering but they offer a wide range of their own cookie and brownie created trays already. I decided that the brownie/cookie tray would do just fine for my guys. I am having them specialize the tray with Thanks. It's a nice and simple request and made plans to pick it up. When I finally did make it to the Cookie Zoo the tray of brownie/thanks cookies was all ready and boxed to go. I am so pleased with the wonderful job that they did making my thank you to the office guys come to fruition. Guess what too, I did not have to bake them either. The ordering was smooth and so was the pick up. For the tray that I ordered it had 16 mini brownies, and 28 cookies that read Thanks in varying colors. I let them create and use colors since they are the experts. I was not disappointed at all. Now I can reward the guys for jobs well done. I recently tasted their cookies at a baby shower and was impressed so I ordered the spring assortment . The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice. The cookies taste good. I am disappointed in the size and for the price I would have expected a little bit more of a design that well something that I would not have been able to do . Some cookies were not even frosted only had a rosette on top. Some frosting job was poorly done . The cookies I had experienced at the baby shower were larger and frosted with perfection so not sure if they had a different worker on my order . read more

I am so pleased with the outcome of the cookies I ordered. I live out of town and I was flying in the day before to host a bridal shower. I emailed the owner with examples of what I was looking for and then we talked on the phone. All of my expectations were met and exceeded. She was so accommodating with the pick up time and my needs. From swap meets, to networking groups, several local business memberships, participation in community events to having my own shop on Sunset for 21 years. A lot has changed over the years from my original idea of a "cookie card" that was sent to every single zoo in the US (with zero orders) to expanding our menu to include new flavors, new edible creations, new packaging and always listening to our customers!

Meet the Business Owner: Whitney W.

My love of animals and cookies was my original inspiration..my 1st idea was to sell "cookie cards" which bombed miserably. I joined a networking group,NAWBO and the LV Chamber and ran around dropping off samples and pitching my products to anyone who would listen. I picked up some of the donuts, ube tres leches, and a box of the crinkle cookies. Everything was so good! And as my in-laws say, "not too sweet!" The milk cheese rolls reminded me of powdered donuts, but I didn't get much of a cheese flavor from them, so they didn't really stand out to me. The ube crinkle cookies were better in my opinion, soft and crumbly with a nice ube flavor in the center. Both items were on the sweeter side, and I usually don't like very sweet desserts, so that may just be a personal preference.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Again, I came for the cookies so not a problem. I chose the Cookie Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie as well as the White Chocolate Chip Ube. I took them home as take out. Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.

They were out of curry buns in the case but the ones in the oven were ready in a couple minutes. Torture waiting for it to cool enough to eat and- oh my! Worth the wait. Mildly spicy that builds, but the FLAVOR. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. The crust is thin and holds up well as you go. And baby, I went! Bookmarked for my return. They were SOOO FLUFFY and they were stuffed with nutella. I definitely think I'm going to need to go back here again and get this ASAP. The churro waffle was also incredibly delicious and something they're known for. I liked that the sausage links were a big size, too, and came with two.
