No computers allowed inside the cafe which I was disappointed about since I read that it was a cafe on Yelp so I thought it would be a nice place to get some work done. I came here on a weekday for a working lunch and coffee. The caprese sandwich was okay but the bread was so hard after it was toasted it felt like it was scratching the top of my roof. Didn't end up finishing it with the bread and just opted to eat it as a flatbread. Coffee was good, and the service was friendly. I won't be coming back here again though, just felt like it was a limited menu and didn't have much to offer in terms of hot food options and not the best working environment as laptops aren't allowed.

This place is SO delicious! My fiancé and I ordered avocado toast and huevos rancheros. Everything was super delicious, tasty, and so fresh. This place is within walking distance from Central Park. SO worth. Their green matcha lattes with almond milk hit the spot. Their iced coffee were also good-my fiancé even got a second cup. Overall, friendly staff, great seating, clean bathroom, and best of all, delicious breakfast!! Highly recommend.

The Francesca - caprese salad with avocado! Tomatoes, mozzarella, avocado, fresh basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic! Yum!

I just moved into the neighborhood, and this has been the most welcoming establishment that I've been returning to again and again. The food is luscious, all homemade right in front of you, artful ambience ... Not a cookie cutter kind of place. The owner is so accommodating, he even created a dish for me, since I'm doing Keto and have trouble finding the perfect dish. He's calling at -The Francesca!

Recently opened spot in the quiet neighborhood. Food was solid and cafe/restaurant was nicely decorated. Great place to sit and work as there are USB plugs and normal plugs at the bar.

Amazing fresh sandwiches! Everything made to order! Very quick as well! And cheap! We sat outside in the seating area and had a fantastic view while we ate!

My bf & I loved our experience here, the atmosphere was cozy with great choices of breakfast/lunch options. We went for breakfast and i ordered the Avocado toast, my bf couldn't resist so her ordered himself one also. Will be definitely returning for lunch soon. Plus now they are serving Sangria, yummm.

Wascar and his team really, really care about their customers. We moved into the neighborhood the same week as he opened in December, and he's been like an Uncle to my twin 3 year olds, and always makes them hot chocolate that is just right. Their food is amazing, try the huevos or the cubano. (By the way, ignore the crazy one star, if you could not tell, that person leaves 1 star reviews all over New York)

Wandered by on the first day they were serving brunch. The eggs Benedict were divine. I also enjoyed my mocha coffee. For the wine lover they also have a full wine bar and serve lunch and dinner. Stop by won't be sorry you did. 106 at and Manhattan

Love this place. The staff are great. The coffee and tea are fantastic. We landed here looking for bagels by our AirBNB and ended up coming back every morning. It felt like sliding into a family.

Great local small business! The menu is simple yet delicious. I had the Cuban Sandwich, and it was amazing and not your typical Cuban sandwich. Fresh and flavorful with the added chorizo and Chipotle Aioli sauce. I also had the Cafe Con Leche which was also very good. They have a great variety of flavorful teas, my husband had the Turmeric Ginger tea and loved it. It's a perfect addition to the neighborhood and I will definitely return to try other items on the menu! The owner/manager was very accommodating and friendly. He mentioned a light dinner menu is coming soon, I can't wait!

    Covered outdoor

Live jazz band, delicious Italian and French red wine, warm candles, a window open to leave just enough breeze come in... the perfect spot to enjoy the fall and winter in the upper west side! The place is cozy, service was very nice, tapas + cheese board were very good and just enough. A warm welcome to this new wine bar in the neighborhood!

Service is fast and friendly, and the food is pretty good too. My one complaint is that it is extremely loud! My ears actually hurt after watching one of the Knicks games. I wish they would turn the volume down for the music and the broadcast. My friends who were there had to wear earplugs, which I would have used if I had them. For that reason, I'm hesitant to come back, but if that excites you, I think you would love this place.

I was killing time before a show, otherwise you'd never catch me dead in this part of town. It was busy, but service was prompt. They have basics, cosmo, martinis, margarita, aviation, jack and soda, mules, and cheap wine. Food includes salads, Rubens, chicken sandwiches, pizzas (but do you really wanna get your New York style pizza from here?). Lots of shareable apps like quesadillas, wings, shrimp, mozzarella sticks, fries, sliders, nachos. They also have burgers. Again, not fancy, not mind-blowing. But an easy place to step into a chill for a while when you have some time to kill on broadway.

There are no signs, and you walk up a set of steps and through a thick curtain to get inside. It's tucked into an old brownstone and very easy to miss. We went right around 7pm, and it was completely empty. That actually makes sense since Broadway shows start around then, so it's a great time to hit a bar or restaurant in the area. We sat at the bar. Service was a bit mixed. The bartender we had wasn't very friendly, but we did get our drinks without issue. We ordered a couple of Mexican mules and a martini. The martini was fabulous -- definitely the standout. Unfortunately, the mules were not great. I was also hoping for some specialty or holiday cocktails, but there weren't any. That said, the space itself is beautiful and has a cool, hidden-gem feel. The other staff we interacted with were very nice -- we just happened to get the grumpy bartender. Would I go back? Probably not, but only because there are so many other places in NYC I'd want to try. Still, it's a cool spot (if you can find it).

I was immediately blown away by their gorgeous "Frosty" Christmas display including various baubles hanging from the high ceilings, flashing lights and incredible candy cane staircase. We arrived around 4:00 between brunch and dinner, so it was fairly quiet until 5:00 when lots of families arrived. (I think there's a DJ later on as well). My dinner (nicely charred cheeseburger, crispy fries and "Buddy the Elf" cocktail) was yum; especially loved their signature 16 layer cake done up in red and green. Instead of taking the review as constructive criticism and maybe improve their service, he decided to be hateful. The food was "nice" but not great. Didn't receive what we ordered, and service was nonexistent. The business owner's response is very disappointing. In late November, we went to Bacall's to soak up the holiday spirit. And my goodness, they was full of holiday spirit!!! From the moment we walked in, the inside was decked out with crazy amount of decorations. You go up the staircase to upper level to the main dining area. It was called Frosty's Christmas Bar inside the Bacall's, and it sure was spectacular. Decoration in every inch of the place, from top to bottom. In addition to that, they had a few photo-op spots, which were really fun too. We ordered some drinks, Meet Me at Bacall's, Espresso Martini, and White Sangria. I liked that they had some blueberries in the Meet Me at Bacall's and the White Sangria. All the drinks were all nice and tasty, and a good portion too. For food, one of us ordered Braised Short Rib, but we somehow received Filet Mignon... Since the server never really came back to check on us, we just had that. It was a nice dish, although it was not what we ordered. Linguini Vongole was nice, the pasta was cooked well, coated in the flavorful sauce. It had a good amount of clams. Steak Frites was tasty. The steak was cooked just the way I wanted, juicy and flavorful. It was a nice sized steak, very filling too. The fries were addictive, went great with the steak. For dessert, I was very interested in their layer cake. I saw a few pictures of it, and looked really good. Bacall's 16 Layer Cream Cake looked different from the pictures I saw, which was all ivory color. The one we received was festive with red and green, perfect for holiday dessert. Unfortunately, it only looked good. Each layer of cake was a bit tough, and not as creamy as I thought it would be. Good thing we also ordered Japanese Cheesecake, because it was quite good. I was very curious what makes it "Japanese" cheesecake. When it arrived, I got it. The cake was round and stacked on top of each other, looks like popular and famous Japanese soufflé pancakes. We had a fun dinner there, with overload of holiday decorations. The atmosphere was perfect to take in the holiday spirit. However, we couldn't say the same for the service. At the beginning, it was ok, but then we felt like we were forgotten by our waiter. The place was not that busy when we visited... He never really came by to check on us, or brough our check. We had to get whoever else around to get our check. When we saw that they already included 20% tip to the check, although there were just three of us, we understood the bad service. If they thought they are going to get 20% tip regardless, then they might think they don't need to provide good service... Bringing the wrong dish, never checking on us, etc. Regardless to say, we were disappointed with the service. But, it was a fun place to go visit during the holiday season.
