Got takeout and loved the fresh ingredients. Such a good bite! Felt like a European summer fiesta! The freshness of the pistachio cream with the aragula, the Stracciatella, it was perfectness in every bite. Cannot wait to order again and bring it along for a Central Park picnic

The sandwiches at All'Antico were decent. Not amazing, not craveable or memorable, just decent. I enjoyed the novelty of the pistachio cream sandwich, the gooey-ness of the filling that held the bread and the meat together. It would have been better had it been warm. It wasn't a cold sandwich, no. It was simply...tepid. It had a touch of warmth in some parts that made me think they put it through some sort of oven but was prematurely removed before it could reach peak hotness. I wasn't a fan of the sandwich with the truffle honey. It was dry in all accounts. The meat was dry. The cheese was stiff and hard, like a piece of unmelted parmesan. The honey was drizzled so sporadically that you could only taste it in some bites. This sandwich, too, was served lukewarm. I've had better focaccia sandwiches served steaming hot. I would have preferred to walk to Eataly in flatiron (their's is much better), but this shop was in a convenient location to where I was. Nonetheless, I welcome others to try All'Antico. It may not be for me, but it may just hit the spot for you.

Got there at 10:55 on a Saturday morning and was second in line. Now that there are so many locations in NYC there aren't the long lines that there were before. Limited counter seating but am glad I got a seat because it was raining. The staff was very cheerful. It can take a little while for them to assemble your sandwich so if there is a line it might take a while. Got the La Paradiso. The focaccia was amazing. Could have used more mortadella for the right bread to meat ratio. But it overall was a bit of sunshine on a rainy day.

Small shop by Times Square with limited seating. People are extremely friendly, and despite slicing the toppings and assembling the sandwiches on the spot, service is quick. They have a wide range of sandwich options, with unique toppings like pistachio or porcini cream. The bread is very crispy without being too hard. Fillings and flavors were good, but did not live up to the hype in my opinion.

I love this place! Every time I'm nearby I try to get their $15 happy hour deal which is half sandwich (more than enough for me) and a glass of wine. It's such a good deal! You can only choose between the veggie or the mortadella (la paradiso) sandwich. But let's get into how good and delicious this sandwich is!!! They put a good amount of the stracciatella, pistachio cream and mortadella and the bread....to die for. The place is small so you can grab and go or try to wait a little to get a spot. Pretty quick service and very very friendly. Def recommend it!

Service is quick and the line was out the door when we left. Great to-go Italian sandwiches on the crispiest and freshest focaccia you can get. Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh and sandwiches are all prepared individually while you wait. Staff is friendly and got our order perfectly. We ordered La Italiana, Venice Beach, La Dante and a special off the menu La Unesco. All were delicious! Sandwiches are large with plenty for sharing. We cut them in quarters and shared with plenty leftover for evening snacks.

Amazing sandwich!! Crispy on the outside, very filling and huge portions with lots of veggies. It comes out pretty fast even though it is pretty crowded inside. There is very little seating, but it feels like a classic NYC experience to eat inside.

TLDR: Hell's Kitchen location of a famous sandwich shop from Tuscany. HUGE handhelds, personal favorites are the Boss and L'Inferno. I've never been to the one in Florence but there's quite a few locations in the city now. What they specialize in is a Tuscan bread known as "schiacciata" which they make sandwiches with. It's somewhat similar to a focaccia but thinner and crisper with less sponginess. The Boss has pecorino/truffle cream, cheese and Tuscan prosciutto. L'Inferno is a shaved porchetta sandwich with nduja, eggplant, arugula - for me it's a bit lighter but packed with flavor. I've been to the shop and also have gotten it delivered, it travels well. The sandwiches are large and if you're not a big eater; you could probably share this with someone. The pro move is to get two and split them. If you go in-person you can see them make each one to order. Solid place for a good sandwich.

Great service, excellent ingredients and a damn good sandwich in midtown. The ordering process on Uber Eats or door dash is very easy and they include every conceivable option or customization that you could think of for the smooth processing of take out orders. It's very busy for lunch and not the biggest space for indoor seating but it will definitely suffice on a chilly day lunch break. Only complaint is the price I think 2 sandwiches with extra mozz on one was $51. My receipt photo attached - I used a promotional coupon with Uber Eats but still was about 38$ after tax. It was scrumptious and substantial with fresh soft focaccia being my real focus. They have baked the supreme sandwich chemistry . If you're overwhelmed with your options in this area just give them a try !

Small place, wait is worth it however. Fresh sandwiches made to order. Got the italiana and did not disappoint. Cut into two and can be split into 2 meals or 1 if you're hungry. Prosciutto, cheese, arugula is fresh. Staff very helpful in narrowing down what your craving and taste preference is. Would order in advanced for pick up cause line can be long. Good spot for lunch or pre show bite.

Super good sandwich option if you're looking for quick and quality food! My boyfriend and I stopped by around 11am on a Thursday and we got lucky there was no line, but I've seen how packed this place gets! We ordered a summer and toscana sandwich. The staff was nice and shop was clean. We got our order to go. The sandwich are good and can fill you up quick! I prefer the toscana way more than the summer, it had more flavor. The sandwiches were also really good leftovers a few hours later lol. I'd recommend!

The most amazing sandwich ever in life! We stopped here while in New York. It's small and quaint. They had a lunch special that was paired with a glass of wine however we were going to be touring so we opted for just a drink. Everything was freshly made. All the flavors went well together. The sandwich was large so we split it. The service was quick and very informative. The nice gentleman was very informative about everything on the menu.

I had a great time at All' Antico Vinaio! This was my first time trying an Italian Style focaccia sandwich, and I have been eyeing the La Paradiso for a while. I was luckily nearby and was able to make a quick order. The shop was relatively empty, and I was welcomed with a warm smile. It is a very clean space with some tables to sit at if you want to dine in. I placed my order and asked my sandwich maker what his favorite was. He recommended the New Yorker and to add mozzarella! Next time, I will try that! The sandwich itself was delicious. While I was eating it, everything felt so fresh and flavorful. The soft bread with the pistachios and cheese pairs well with the mortadella. However, after I ate the sandwich, that's when I noticed how secretly heavy the meal was! You don't expect the oil from the bread to hit until after. I had a great meal, and would definitely recommend!

    Are these hot sandwiches?

No, not hot! But the bread is usually freshly baked and warm coming out but they don't press or heat up the sandwiches

    Are there tables and chairs?

No tables or chairs, normally a bit of await the line moves quickly.

Is there an option to create your own sandwich? Not seeing that on the menu. TIA!?

    No, it's menu only.

On the La Paradiso sandwich, what is pistachio cream? What's it made of?

Pistachio cream is a Sicilian variant of nut spreads like Nutella, made with pistachio instead of hazelnut. Ingredients vary depending on brand, but the ones from Bronte, Sicily are the best, and Eataly (FiDi) sells them.

It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.
