Stopped by Sandwichitos and tried both the Cuban and the Steak Sandwich. The flavors were definitely there, but the execution was a bit mixed. On the Steak Sandwich, the grease from the meat and chimichurri soaked into the bread, which made it soggy and took away from the experience. The chimichurri itself was a little overpowering, and I found myself wishing the steak came with some kind of cheese to help balance things out. Sandwich was very juicy and plenty of flavor. The Milanese sandwich was great too. Chicken was fried perfectly and was not dry at all. The olive spread was great. My only small complaint is that the sandwich could have used more olive spread. Next time I'll ask for extra on the side. Just a small complaint. I was finally in the area and able to try this place after seeing it for over a year on Instagram. I didn't expect it to be so small and it was completely packed even though it was Valentine's Day. The guy at the register , who I can only assume was the owner helped was very nice and helpful. The Philly cheesesteak was very delicious as expected and is a very reliable option if you want a sure thing. My son enjoyed it, but I'd prefer to choose a different cheese if we ordered it again. The Spanish pig in Italy & the Jiu Jitsu steak sandwich were both very good, the meat was cooked perfectly, the bread was great, etc, but we both wanted to add a little heat. We asked for hot sauce and were instead given fresh grilled jalapeños & a cup of Chipotle mayo and WOW, just what they both needed. If you like things spicier, please take my advice and ask for them to throw some grilled jalapeños and/or chipotle mayo onto your sandwich.
