They were also surprisingly thorough in also cleaning outdoor spaces, appliance interiors, doors, light fixtures, and other nooks and crannies that it never would have occurred to me to request they cover. Every M&M colleague is friendly and pleasant. They are a true joy to have in our home, and we are grateful for all they do. I look forward to working with them again whenever we have cleaning needs.

Three cleaners came. Two handled the bathrooms and one handled the kitchen. The ones who cleaned the bathroom did a great job. However, the bathroom smelled deep of chemicals afterwards. The one who cleaned the kitchen did not do a good job. The inside of the fridge (which was requested) was not done at all. The counter were wiped down but were not clean at all. The cleaner did do a decent job on the stove though. They also arrived early, which most of the time would not be an issue. However, I wasn't able to sequester my cats before they arrived, and they freaked my cats out. The heavy chemical smell did not help them. Unfortunately, I don't think I will hire their services for a deep clean of my kitchen again. I may decide to give them another chance when I need a deep clean of the bathrooms.

Booking process online was seamless and I appreciated being able to add-on services like oven cleaning. They arrived within 10 minutes of the arrival window ready to go. I told them they could more or less ignore the furniture and focus on the apartment itself. They were very kind the whole way through. They were extremely thorough, even getting to places previous cleaners did not like under the bed. They nicely packed items thrown around in bags for me to sort through which I really appreciate. When finished with each area they asked if I wanted to check the area first for anything missed, another thing I appreciated. They offered to take out trash bags at the end but I told them they did enough and sent them on their way :) They are definitely worth booking and are extremely thorough! I will likely book again the next time I require a deep cleaning.

The phone agent automatically applied a Yelp discount code for $25 off the booking, so the total was still $420. Email confirmation noted the cleaners would arrive between 11:00-12:00 PM for my 11:00 AM booking. There was no communication or text/email updates on arrival at 12:45 PM, so I called the corporate number 800-552-5997 and it went to voicemail. They called me back a few minutes later and confirmed the cleaning team was still on their way. They finally arrived at 1:30 PM and apologized with the reason being, "Corporate double booked us." That was annoying because when I doubled checked with the phone agent about availability on Memorial Day, he boasted "Yes, we have 20 cleaning teams operating in your area" OK but they couldn't send 1 team on time? Anyway, the cleaners worked very hard and everything was spotless at the end of the day. I would be willing to give InstaMaids another chance.

Previous 4-star review: I found this place through Yelp and it was my first time getting my home professionally cleaned. The workers were efficient and thorough. There were 2 cleaners and 1 team lead (Lina). Lina helped manage time and convey my needs and wants to the cleaning team. They were kind to my dogs and my daughter and it was an overall great experience! I was even able to tack on an extra half hour on the day-of due to how dirty my house was. For rates, I was initially quoted an incorrect hourly rate which another employee caught and they corrected right away. Very great service! I didn't give 5 stars because of some admin concerns I had. For one, the virtual walkthrough meeting was recorded without my consent and I have no idea what they will do with that video. They also have a time/rate minimum (3 hours) which was not communicated to me until the virtual meeting, so just FYI. I also paid for services in cash but they didn't have any change so I paid a little more but that could be a problem if I only had the exact payment plus bigger bills to cover the extra time. So I recommend making sure you have the exact amount for the service and for tips and maybe some smaller bills if you think you might need extra time. Overall, they did a great job and we will definitely use them again.
