This place is awesome and they can fix anything! I have been taking my bike here for just about a year for any problems I cannot fix myself. They really hook up it and go out of their way to help you out with all your problems without breaking the bank. I recently got a chain and sprocket kit done on the bike and they helped rewire some loose wires and did some engine work to help the performance and noise of the bike. At any other shop they would have charged around 1000 dollars but I got all the work done for less than 500 dollars. I've been going here for over 10 years now. I don't take my bikes anywhere else. I had a brand new 2003 Honda CBR F4i that gave me no problems- I just did regular maintenance, and some simple mods here (flush-mount blinkers in front and removal of all that excess plastic they hang off the tails of those things. It rode tight for years. Sold that one. Then in 2006 I bought a brand new CBR600RR! I serviced it here for all services up to 6,000 miles, changed the tires and chain once. Bike ran like a dream. Always. A dude named Jim was working here at the time and he was super cool about walking me through catalogs and helping me pick out gear and parts for my bike upgrades (I spent a lot of time there, sometimes I would just kick up a chair and he'd throw on some rad stunting vids. while my baby was being pampered). I ordered integrated turn signals for the rear, flushes for the front, a new shield, and a carbon fiber Yosh pipe! for like $500. One of Longs dudes custom cut the fairings to put sliders on and mounted the license plate under the tail. I upgraded the tires eventually too I think. Anyways, after they had my bikes levels and whatever all maxed out and perfected (you can tell I don't know much about that diagnostics stuff), the bike ran and sounded like a beast! 6 gears! All perfect! Sold that one too :( I know a lot of people that take their bikes here. Long is kind of a known guy for a lot of OC riders. Whenever I tell people about Mach 1 they go "Yeah, I know, that's where I take my bike too. Seriously, 9 times out of 10. I've heard of dudes that travel long distances just to get their rides serviced here. Whether it be for regular maintenance, customization, or a serious engine or carb overhaul his track record speaks for itself. Plus, Long is a good guy- he's not just a mechanic, he's like a bike doctor. Two months ago, I bought an old 1993 Suzuki Intruder 800 after having Long take a look at it and recommending it for purchase. That's how much I trust "Dr. Long." I took it to him to see if I should buy it. He said "How much" I told him $1500 and he told me to do it. I did. It ran out of gas once (but it had gas in it), and wouldn't start so he cleaned out the carbs, changed the battery and a clutch cable, and the bike ran stronger than ever!- For a couple weeks... Mechanically sound now I think there might be a problem with the fuse or electrics. It won't even try to turn over. It could be as easy as a fuse or a wire but I don't know. I'm taking it in soon for some electrical work (taillight, and instrument panel light don't work), and to throw on some blinkers I have, as well as to throw on the shocks I've been riding without. I recently went to Mach 1 based on others reviews. They do seem knowledgeable but it was a difficult at time to understand their English. I wrote down all the work I had done to my bike and a list of stuff I wanted looked at or done. Unfortunately they redid all the work had done thinking that was what I wanted. I called several time to check in and we seemed to be on the same page until I picked up my bike and realized what he had done. I have brought my last 3 bikes to mach 1. The staff is knowledgable, polite, and professional. It seems that I never get out of there for less than 600 bucks though. I went to have a rear light replaced and it turned out that I needed the whole bike re-wired. I went in for a tune up, and u guessed it, 650 bucks later i had my bike back. I took my ninja 250 cafe racer for the first time to this shop today, they told it was going to be ready on Tuesday. A few hours later I received the call that it was fixed. I will continue to be a Mach1 for as long as keep riding motorcycles. I was loosing 30-40% of power when I was riding my bike, two different kawasaki certified mechanics could not figure out what was wrong with my motorcycle after I left it with them for two weeks, now it runs fantastic. I get back one week later after I get from them a quote. We knew what the problem was and to be sure before proceeding with the job we did an inspection for oil leak for the base gasket.. After inspection they asked me about $1000 to perform the work they previously asked $380. Customer service made me the wrong quote and they drive me to get back to their shop. Long Mach insisted to get paid $75 for the inspection claiming that he also made me a discount counting only 1 working hour instead of 2... An oil leak inspection at the base gasket takes 20-30 minutes at most. I also left my bike in the shop for only 1 hour and 30 minutes... NOT 2 HOURS. I ended up paying $75 for a diagnosis already known. They cheat on prices to get me back in the shop and get $75 for something that was not needed. read more

I was referred to Mach 1 by a friend. I have a Ducati Monster that needed tires. I called about 11:00 a.m. on Sat. & asked if they could get it done that day? No problem. When I dropped the bike off they didn't have the front tire I needed but could install my back tire which I really needed. By 1:00 p.m. I received a call saying it was done. Monday I'll be in to have the front tire installed. The employees were courteous & knowledgeable about the type & size tires I needed before I got off my bike. Rick Dondero the parts manager. Champion was JUST bought by Del Amo so I wandered over to Mach 1 for a price on brake pads. SURPRISE! Rick now works there. He was like excited to be there and gave me the tour. There was a frame off, bolt by bolt Triumph restoration going on and cool bikes everywhere. I got so excited I forgot the pads. Just wanted to say how amazing the service was here. I brought in a 2005 Yamaha R6 because there was a broken drainage bolt for the coolant. They managed to extract the screw, replaced my front tire, and unscrewed one of my handlebar which was rusted shut. They finished everything within 2 hours, kept me updated, great pricing, and did an amazing job. Definitely worth spending your money here!!! I had just picked up a 06 yzf600r off a private seller and brought it to the shop for inspection. Staff immediately inspected the bike explaining what needed to be done for safety with clarity.
