I ordered some tires from 714 for a set of custom 3-piece wheels I had built by Sensei6. When I came in to have them mounted and balanced, the shop told me that one of the four wheels was not trued and couldn't be balanced. It was "hopping" on the balancer and they couldn't install them. They recommended that I take the wheel back to Sensei6 to have it fixed. I drove out to Sensei6 to have it inspected and they told me there's nothing wrong with the wheel. I took it another tire shop for a second opinion, and they also confirmed there were no issues. 1 star for wasting two days of my time -- one day at 714 and another for making me drive out to Sensei6 in West Covina -- only to be told by them and another tire shop that there was no issue. read more

Great Service and Good Prices! 714 took me in with no appointment and got tire sensors installed on two sets of wheels done while I was waiting. They are pretty busy so be patient. Only been there once but they seem pretty honest on work and prices. There was a mixup on what sensor went on what wheel so be adamant and recheck the work before you leave even if the advisor seems knowledgeable (I had to come back the next day). Overall they do a great job not damaging your wheel with tire re-mounting and know what they are doing. read more

Needed an alignment, and prices vary all over the place with all the shops. They had the best price I found and that was with a truck with a lift on it. They aligned it and took care of it and gave me the printout to show what adjustments they needed to make. I also needed two new tires for the front, and I found some matching odd ball brand online, said not a problem and said I could send them there for storage. I came right at open for an alignment for my Supra and was helped right away. They took about 15 minutes to see what worked needed to be done and then gave me an estimate on time and price. I was ok so I asked them to work on it. I went to run a quick errand and while doing that I got a text my car was ready. Right on time with what they estimated. Check out was easy, Jon went over the work that was done line by line what was before and what was after. After everything the cost was a little less than what was originally estimated so that was a pleasant surprise. They work on a lot of modified cars so they take good care of them. My daughter is a high school student working part-time. She took her car in for alignment after the alignment when we were driving home. We heard noise under the vehicle, and the car was driving unusual. We drove the car back to the shop. They snap one of the front wheel nut off completely and claim all the wheel the nuts were loose. That's why the nut broke. ( I took the nut to 2 other mechanics for the 2nd & 3nd option. They both said the bolt was snapped off from a power drill.) We drove 40 miles to the shop and 10 miles round trip back to the shop. If the manager Johnathan claimed all the wheel nuts were loose, they would have come off the vehicle a long time ago. Especially driving at 75 mph. That was some BS he made up and didn't want to take responsibility for a mechanics mistake. I asked him what it cost for the repair, and he said "$325". The part is $3, labor is $322. I think this shop is running a scam, breaking the customer part, blaming it on the customer, and trying to charge them for more money. I was going to take my other car in there for some major work. I don't trust the shop. Now, I don't recommend anyone taking their cars there for repair. If you do, be careful when they break something on your car and blame it on you, then try to charge you for more money. I'm sure there are other honest mechanics and shops in the area to take ur vehicle for repair. read more

Had been coming here for years and seemed like they always did good work, everyone always recommended them. Took 3 of my cars here in the past 6 months or so and had an issue with every alignment. First car had the steering wheel completely misaligned and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Second car had to bring back to them to correct their job. and third car was brought into another alignment shop to be corrected. Really disappointed with the drop in quality, might be because of different technicians but something definitely isnt right. This place is the go to spot around the area for tires, alignments and suspension work. On any day you can expect a long wait time of 2-3 hours depending on when you go there. It's best to leave your car and come back. They do cars in a timely fashion, but there's just a lot of foot traffic. I think the lure of this spot though is for those who have modified rides. They can dial in specific camber to your liking and have lifts suitable for lowered vehicles. Just going there and waiting for 2 hours, out of 10 vehicles I saw, maybe only 2 were OEM. I had my camber and toe adjusted here for my Model 3 and I truthfully didn't know what camber to go with. I would of gone with what ever is in spec, but they recommended something negative for better performance because it's lowered. They knew how to adjust the front camber using shims which I never knew about, so that was good to see. There's a near by Inn-N-Out for food, and bowling alley if we ever get out of this pandemic if you need to stick around. read more

Came here 2/8 to get control arms installed an, alignment. Took around 3hrs for them to finish everything. They gave me an alignment sheet that didn't even give all the before information, the guy at the front desk just said he didn't know why but basically they were just all over the place, but how would he even know if he wasn't even back there? On the drive home I noticed my steering wheel was off, about 10-15 degrees canted to the right and when I tried straightening it, the car would drift left. Upon visually inspecting the work that had been done I noticed front driver wheel was sticking out way more than the passenger side. Popped the hood and found one side of the camber plates were adjusted and gashed up with no care, and yes just one side was adjusted not evenly adjusted on the opposite side. Steering felt felt abnormally loose, handling was definitely alot worse so I had no choice but to get it aligned at another shop. 5days later I check into Frausto's alignment and luckily they were able to get everything back into spec and after recieving the updated alignment sheets, the data 714 gave me was bullsh...t. The worker said "he never knew they had little girls align cars". Before alignment data shows the epic work 714 tires really did. Everything was off and uneven, not even close! My Issue with this shop stem from my 2018 subaru needed a rebuild. The shop was suppose too handle the install on my brand new engine but did not materialize due to the shop manager ghosting me. I guess when you start buying the necessary parts on your own most shops see this as a NON PROPITABLE , Imagine the margin they get from manufacturers if you dont know what you are buying. Fortunately for me I been around the Subaru game and practically know the parts needed for a successful rebuild. So rather than paying some this shop for $3000 plus labor and risk them messing up my brand new engine I went ahead and drove to another shop who is a dedicated Subaru specialist not this 714tire shop. They installed everything real quick and I was able to have my car back within 3 hours. Also hooked me up with an initial alignment and one to come back once springs settled. Wish I could give this shop a zero. The manager or owner is very condescending and doesn't believe his "technicians" could do anything not by their book. We brought our car in for an alignment but they also had to turn the strut tower. Who ever I spoke to last week said the tires didn't need to be removed for an alignment which I know but that wasn't the only thing that had to be done. The technician who did all the work stripped our wheel key and didn't even bother to mention it so we didn't find out until my husband was stranded on the side of the freeway with a flat and no way to change it because the wheel key was stripped leaving us to pay a $300 tow fee to get the car home since my husband works nights and he got a flat at 6am and not able to put the spare he had in the trunk of the car. And now that we are attempting to get the tire repaired we find out the key was not only stripped they also over tightened the lug nuts, with an impact gun which the owner was very certain they do not use power tools to tighten wheel lug nuts they are only doing it by hand. I can tell you for certain you can not over tighten a lug nut that much by hand and we are not able to take off the wheel. I was going to let it be and we would just get it fixed but there is no way we can do this ourselves and others need to be warned to not go to this shop. read more

At first I did give them a one star but my boyfriend did convince me to go back and let them do the tires and service. I did bring it back that following Tuesday after work. Still waited about two hours but the service was good. My alignment and the tires and wheel balance are perfect. They also gave me complementary wheel balance for next time as well as an alignment.
