Good cheap eats in a casual order at the counter setting. A great place for lunch. I had the carnitas hard tacos for lunch. They were very tasty and came with a generous dollop of guacamole. Let me just say I absolutely loved the first location in Morristown which is why I'm atleast giving a 2 star . From the food to the customer service everything was great . So when I heard about the new location's grand opening I was beyond excited. Sadly the standards I was use to were not the same . In fact I'm pretty bummed about the service I have received here . I went twice this week , grand opening- total chaos . Waiting over an hour for 3 orders of the macho nachos . What was even more frustrating was that I had seen other orders being done that came in way after I placed my order . I get it it was a busy day however an hour for nachos is a bit crazy . When I finally got my order I was happy because it was perfect. So I decided to go again tonight.. first the phones don't work and I told myself I really don't want to order unless I can call ahead. Finally got an answer at 9 wheee I was told again an hour wait . Ordered nachos again only this time I got home to what seems like dry old food that they pieces together. They forgot the pico and all the sauces- I'm assuming rushing because it's now closing time . I'm just highly disappointed and probably won't be returning back for a while . read more

Meh. Tried the chorizo tacos (soft shell). Tortillas are light with a decent corn flavor, but did not really have enough strength to hold the chili based mix. Holes popping everywhere, main ingredients spewing from bottom of taco. I was praying for chopped chorizo, and not a sloppy joe mix of whatever. I don't know about this. Love Macho Nacho - their food is so inexpensive but so good. They have a fair amount of seating inside, but they also give you a lot to go. Macho Nacho generally gives you large portions. Their breakfast burritos are really good (I normally get chorizo), and I love pretty much their whole menu. I would definitely go to Macho Nacho over the Taco Truck that is nearby. Visited yesterday for the first time for take-out. Our party ordered the namesake, the macho nacho, which was as described- massive with tons of toppings and a must! For mains, we had carnitas tacos, the breakfast bacon burrito, and the dulce carnitas burrito. The burritos are really filling, and the dulce carnitas burrito was a really interesting and delicious combination of plantains and pork which I really enjoyed. The only issue one orderer had was that there was no bacon that she could find in her breakfast bacon burrito. Other than that, we really enjoyed our meals! Even dairy-free diners will be able to get great chips and guac or cheese-less tacos to enjoy. With great authentic food, inexpensive prices, and friendly staff, this is a must for Central American food in Morristown! read more

Here I go, finally writing my testament to this amazing little place that makes my world go round. It is 5:55 AM right now and I'm literally counting the seconds until they open. I'm pretty sure my body is like 80% macho nacho at this point. Moved to Morristown 3 years ago and this place probably keeps me here. Super cheap, fast service and hits-the-spot food. The ranchero breakfast burrito is to die for. If you don't like what you ordered, try other items, I honestly believe there's something for everyone here. The portions are huge considering how cheap it is. I'm vegetarian and they are always willing to accommodate changes to menu items for me. This place is the most authentic and reasonably priced tacqueria in Morristown area. I eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. When the nachos and plantains came, we were surprised with how big the portions were! The nachos were SMOTHERED in yellow and white cheese with two dollops of sour cream on two corners and the plantains were huge and that too, came with a dollop of sour cream. Oh, Macho Nacho! Why didn't I find you earlier!! This place is in the middle of plaza full of other stores and I have never noticed its small entrance. After I saw it on Yelp, I decided to give a try. Oh, dear. Their shredded beef burrito is one of the best in town. The beef is surprisingly tasteful with tons of flavor from meat itself and spicy. The bean and rice are well balanced with the beef. I barely finished the $5.59 burrito due to its huge portion.
