I hired them to do my pest control, and then some guy came and just stuck a note on my door claiming he had done the pest control that he had not done since the contract was for the inside and outside of my home. I waited a couple of months, but kept sending me bills for work that he did not do and then kept trying to ask for more money and contact me because I was in a contract. A contract as Noel void when you claim to have done work, you didn't do. Now going to collections they claim. read more

I have used Mack Pest Control previously in my old house, and now that I moved I'm using them again. Their customer service has been great, they are very friendly and easy to work with. They will come to your house to give you a quote by measuring everything, which is free, and I was so appreciative that their sales tactics are no-pressure. I needed to wait a few months to get the initial payment together, which they were totally cool about, and also are letting me break it up over a few months. Thereafter, it's a nominal yearly fee to maintain. They guarantee your home if you happen to get termites, because they are so confident in their initial treatment that it won't happen. When my son brought in all this firewood into my house, I thought for sure I was going to have an outbreak of spiders.. So after the firewood was removed, I called Mack Pest Control to come in and check for brown recluse spiders.. Bob came over the same day I phoned. He brought all these little sticky paper tents that he put all over my house, my basement, under my counters and in closets. He didn't charge me for any of the tents, nor his time. He told me to call in a couple of weeks if I saw a bunch of insects in my tents. Rarely have I found a business that didn't charge for a service call..... Rarely have I met someone as nice and pleasant who wasn't the boss of the company. They don't get much better than this.... I never got to find out what they charge for pest control.. I got excellent service, and should I have problems with spiders or bugs.. I know who to call. read more

Had a free service with purchase of new house. People came over and "sprayed" the inside/outside of a 3400 sq ft house in about 8 minutes. Left notes on their quarterly service and other services. Seemed like it was just an excuse to try to get the yearly business. Had another company come out that took their time (45 mins roughly, sprayed inside, and out) .. they got my yearly business. read more

Terrible service. I purchased the termite treatment for an active termite problem. The technicians treated inside and the dirt around my house. They never did the cement patios. Walkways, or carport. Phone calls back and forth, threats to sue for non payment. Returned 14 months later to complete the treatment in the concrete areas. Left a hangtag staying complete. Still did not treat the carport. And no one checks or oversees the work. Terrible service! read more

Very poor customer service! In February I paid $127 for a renewal of my termite control service agreement, and scheduled an annual inspection, which is part of the service agreement, for March 28 between noon and 4 p.m. On the morning of March 28 I called the Mack Pest Control office and confirmed that I was on their schedule for that afternoon. When the inspector had not shown up by 3 p.m., I called the office again, and was told that the inspector was running behind and that he would call me soon. I never received a call from the inspector that day, nor any following day to reschedule the inspection. About a week later I called the Mack office, told the lady who answered about the missed appointment, and she promised to have a manager call me to discuss it. I never heard from anyone. On April 15 I called the Mack office again, and asked that they refund my $127 payment. I was told that I would have to speak with the manager, who was out of the office and would call me back. On April 16 I received a call from Mr. Jeff Hunter, who identified himself as being with Mack Pest Control. I explained to him my payment, the missed inspection, and the previous failure to respond, and I requested a refund of my $127 payment. Mr. Hunter explained that they couldn't refund my payment because it was for a "renewal of my warranty," but that they would re-schedule my appointment. I responded that I wasn't happy with their poor customer service, did not want another appointment, and that I insisted on a refund of my payment. He once again took refuge behind the argument that my payment was for a renewal of the warranty, and not for an inspection. I consider this to be a bogus argument, since an inspection was stated in the renewal notice and therefore a part of the contract. Since they have failed to perform the contract, I am entitled to a refund. I have been a small business owner for over 33 years in Nashville, and I consider this to be very poor customer service, and I recommend that you not deal with this company. read more

No complaints about the actual work of removing a hive from the front bushes of my uncle's rental house. It was the office that made it a miserable experience. It took me FIVE months to get an invoice from them. They sent them to the wrong address. The sent invoices with the wrong work description. And since I wouldn't pay until I got an accurate invoice for tax records, they also threatened me multiple times to go to collections. I finally got someone in the office to hand-write the actual work on an incorrect invoice since she claimed they didn't have the technology to write anything except "general pest application" on the invoice, which would not correlate to the much more expensive hive removal that was actually done. At least ten phone calls and five emails before the thing was finally resolved. And to top all off, after I paid, they sent me another invoice with interest for tardiness. Luckily, the manager apologized when I complained and didn't try to pull a fast one. I go with Belle Meade Exterminators whenever possible as I find them MUCH more personable. read more

I called because my three inside cats had fleas and I was concerned there were fleas in my crawlspace. The man who came out immediately was not dressed to crawl around under a house. He walked around near the crawlspace doors, said there were no fleas and that there were signs of termite damage and the house needed termite treatment. He then called me several times in a salesman-like way to get me to buy the termite treatment. Two months later I consulted another company. They came out same day, crawled around under my house and said it was full of fleas. They also said the house had been treated for termites and it was just signs of old damage in the crawlspace. I knew this to be true from my home inspection. They fogged under the house and for the first time in two months my cats and I are not suffering with fleas. I will never ever call Mack again. Angell Pest Control rocks, though. Call them instead. read more

Not recommended. I asked for help with a wasp problem and noted that the insects were nesting in a very high place. The agent pitched an ongoing service. I said I needed the one problem fixed. He said they don't do that and didn't have ladders high enough. I questioned why he had come out, he called me rude and left abruptly. read more

I have been with this company for 17 years trusting these employees in our home, with never complaining about their new tech being late, calling every single time changing our original schedule, or even being 4 hours early and ringing my doorbell incessantly hoping I would answer and let him spray when convenient for his schedule, spraying my entire home in under 3 mins, etc BUT on June 26, this new Tech Jon, came to our home for the quarterly treatment. He went upstairs to spray while I was downstairs and my daughter was in her room upstairs. We heard the Xbox turn on and then 10 seconds later turn off. Not thinking this employee would steal from us, I just assumed it was a blip in technology that the machine turned on. After Jon left, my daughter came down and asked me why he had turned the Xbox on, we questioned it but never imagined he would steal from us. It didn't even cross my mind. My son came home shortly after and went to play Xbox and screamed down that his game was missing. He said he was playing it hours prior and was certain he left it in the machine as he always did. He bought this game with his own money that he earned. After asking Jon if he would like to return the game before I called his boss, his response was that he did not own an Xbox and wouldn't steal anyway. He then proceeded to text me 10 mins later stating that he "has a baby on the way and can't afford to pay rent with what Mack pays anyway, so please consider this before you get me fired". He stole from our home with us in the home! What else has he stolen from our home or others that no one noticed right away?!? Jewelry, games, money, etc. The Owner refused to discipline this kid, refused to reimburse my son for the game, and didn't even call me to apologize! He has his Mgr offer me a free spray service!!!! Horrible way to do business, teaching your employee it's ok to steal, leaving this thief to go in other people's homes to steal again, and didn't even try and make this better! Mack employee steals and they don't even refund me the $70 cost of the game!!! When you allow companies to enter your home whether a cleaning company, plumber, electrician, pest control, you find out that they are licensed and bonded and trust that they will handle any issues that arise. You TRUST them to do good business!!! Do NOT use this company! After talking about it with others on social media, this company has many complaints that are not recognized or taken care of. read more

I had a visit today from Mack's pest control and she was the worst pest control person I have ever seen I told her before she enter my house that I had brown recluse spiders real bad and as she enter my home she sprayed a small amount around the base boards and I showed her a trap that was full of spiders and she said yes they are brown recluse and I told her I think they are up in the attic because its hot up there so I pulled the door down and her words to me was you know a big girl cannot go up there and my words to her was why did you come and she said to do a one time spray and I said that's not going to kill all these spiders I was very unpleased with this company and I would not send them to anybody I have had pest control before and they have never spayed water down we she sprayed I told her that's a spider crawling and she said he will die so the spider kept going so I stepped on it and killed it I feel if you cannot do the job right send somebody who can go up stairs and spray in the attic and when she open up the closets she sprayed in just one spot I think they need to send a person that is not scared of brown recluse spiders and as she was about to leave after about 15 minutes in my house she said would ask me to signed the bill. read more

The office staff was very nice and friendly. Also, they were quite responsive. I wish I could say the same for their exterminators. My initial call resulted in some choppy questions (i.e. one call got some information, then they called back for additional information) that I had hoped would lead to an inspection and extermination. Unfortunately, when the exterminator did call, I was informed I needed to prepare the house. I requested the steps to do that, but did not receive the information from the exterminator. A few days later, they called again, asking if I was ready for them. I was not because I had not been given the information I had requested. Again they said they would send it, but did not. I called the office and the front office staff there was very polite and sent me the information very quickly. Preparing the house for extermination involved a large amount of work which my wife and I were not able to get to immediately. When we were able to, I called back to set up an appointment a week in advance. I never heard from the exterminator. Called twice more... again, no response from the exterminator. I eventually called someone else and immediately was able to set up an inspection. read more
